Nigeria has really shown great tenacity in their previous games winning back to back matches scoring three goals in each which we don't see often. Uganda conceded a red card in the 56th of the game after Nigeria was ahead by a goal to nil, but soon enough toe more goals kept flying in but surprisingly no goal came from the prominent striker, Victor Osimhen.

Nigeria has a great game totally and they qualify to enter the next stage of the competition. With this current performance, I can gladly say that more could be expected from this team in this AFCON and they could be top competitors for the trophy. Tanzania vs Tunisia was not so what I expected from the away side as the game ended in a draw but it was a still a win for them as they also qualify to the next phase of the competition.

Erich Chile should be applauded for today's win. I didn't expect him to bench some key players and yet win this game with such a margin. We can all attest that he is doing very well in this competition.

I think the super eagles have all it takes to go all out and win this tournament. They have the squad depth as you can see the rotation by the manager today giving chances to some of the players who haven’t featured in the two matches played. They delivered the job perfectly, you can see the likes of Raphael Onyedika scoring two goals today and Paul Onuachu also getting a goal, Chukwueze with two assists. This shows the abundance of players that they have in their second eleven. Personally I think this team needs to be among the teams representing Africa in the World Cup but unfortunately they won’t be playing in the next World Cup 2026, but hopefully they can redeem themselves and make it up to their fans by winning this Afcon.

I bet Tunisia to score more than one goal. I was expecting it to be an easy match looking at the odds. The surprise that Tanzania proved to be a weak team by not defeating the eagles who showed a terrible performance. Tunisia doesn't deserve to pass to next qualification but Tanzania was much more weaker than expected at the level can't defeated weak eagles.

I lost the bet because I couldn't read the results from last match of Tunisia and Nigeria and that Tunisia isn't that competent after easy winning the first match.

Normally the match is suppose to be a easy win for the super eagles, they have quality players, and I expected super eagles to get a win in the match, but by now we should know that super eagles are not a team which we are suppose to be so confident on, they are full of surprises, they might end up losing a match which we don’t even expect them to lose.

Of course, it was an outstanding performance from the Super Eagles today against Uganda. I was marveled at Onyedika excellent finishes which went straight into the goal post. He scored the second and third goal to seal up Nigeria victory.

I am happy that the team has gotten a good striker apart from Osimhen to enable them score as many goals as possible in their upcoming matches. Nigeria needs to continue in this form and keep the momentum ongoing. Let's see how far they will go in this competition. However, thered card was also a favorable to the Super Eagles.

I'm from Mozambique and my country also qualified for another phase of the AFCON, and honestly, I'm praying that my country doesn't play against Nigeria because, in my opinion, Nigeria is the strongest team in this tournament right now. I know that Nigeria didn't qualify for the World Cup and that there are teams that qualified for the World Cup in this tournament, but what I'm seeing is that most of the teams that qualified for the World Cup that are in this tournament aren't putting in much effort. I believe this is because they want to avoid serious injuries because there are only a few months left until the World Cup games.

I have already made up my mind that we won't be going to the World Cup, so hearing this news always tend to break my heart because there is always the possibility of what it's, with the way we are playing I am pretty sure we could have made a big difference than earlier years, Eric Chelle is now doing what Is expected of him, and I liked the way he finally decided to start rotating the squad, Nigeria is doing better.

I don't want to believe the Super Eagles didn't give their best. They did. We didn't qualify because of the crucial points we lost during Olise's time as head coach. If we had started the qualifier with Eric Chelle, I'm sure we wouldn't have thrown away those first three matches and would have qualified. Well, it's behind us now. The boys can atone for not qualifying for the World Cup by bringing the AFCON trophy home. We are tired of being runner-up.

Eric Chelle isn't fully reliable but he can't be entirely blamed for we not making it to the world cup, other managers drop irrelevant points before he took charge.

Nigeria overall did well today, conceding was something they could have prevented. Nigeria need to continue with this form making good use of our chances, and hopefully if we can make again ti the final we can win it.

Super Eagles are really performing wonders in this tournament! getting all 9 points is something remarkable, which proves how far they are willing to go in this 2025 AFCON, My only concern is that they are unable to keep a clean sheet and that is a bit scary. Our defense line needs to do more because the round of 16 will be much tougher and any mistake in the backline will be costly!, The coach really needs to see our he can motivate that backline else if we face stronger team with more attacking power then our frontline will have to make some sacrifices to comeback and denfend as well.

The display from Nigeria in the last 2 matches has been very impressive. I wonder where this form was during the world cup qualifiers.
We were totally dominant against Tunisia who are a very good team, it was an almost perfect match except for that 10 minutes or so spell that they had close to the end.

Nigeria convincingly won their game to continue their 100% start to the tournament with an impressive performance against Uganda but I think there's something off about the Nigeria team. They've got a good midfield and attackers and considering what I've seen in their first three games, I'll also say they've got very solid individuals in defence but how they still manage to concede unnecessary goals should be a thing to worry about or rather work on by the coach of the team. In their last game against Tunisia, they were comfortably leading by 3 goals to nil before conceding two late goals that invited intense pressure in the last minutes of the game and today against Uganda, they still couldn't keep a clean sheet despite playing a Ugandan side with a man down. Good results but they can do better.

I think I was one of those who didn't give them a single chance because I'm still very much upset that we couldn't make it to the world cup despite the increase in number of participants. Even our performance in the qualifiers wasn't that impressive because we ended up drawing a lot of games that we ought to have won. But so far so good in this competition, I think we're doing a very good Job. 3 wins in 3 games is a perfect record for the group stage. Even though we're still conceding, we still find ways to win our games, which of course, is the most important thing to do. Let's hope we get a much easier opponent in the next round.

Why is it a must for Nigeria to concede in every game. The one goal we conceded had the biggest defensive error. I understand we may not have used our actual defense lineup, although the same seems to be the case when we feature our actual defenders. I'm also happy that we qualified for the next round, there is more time for improvement before we return for the other stages of the competition. I hope it goes smoothly, just like in the group stage.

Nigerian super eagles are currently the number one team after the group games having won their three games to become the only team with 9 points. Even the likes of Morocco still lost some points. I hope they keep this pace going. At this point the entire world is watch to see how they will end. It's a very remarkable thing against many people's expectations. Morocco drew against Mali and lost some points. I will expect the best and I think anyone can now proudly bet on Nigeria after this performance.

The next round for me is the toughest round and going through that round is very paramount. Nigeria must keep this pace. One thing I even noticed is the ability of the super eagles goals to come from many players which shows how possible it could be to win without some players like Victor Osimhen and Lookman. Paul Onuachu and Onyedika found their nets and this is a good hope for the super eagles.

Victor Osimhen don’t need to score goals, any player that scores is a win for all the team members and they’ll all celebrate it. We still have many matches to play going forward, so Victor Osimhen will likely score more goals for the national team.

Nigeria finished first at the top of their group stage after securing three points in all the games they played. Their performance has been so impressive and they really deserve all the win they got in the matches played so far. Going forward in the AFCON, they’ve really shown that they are capable of winning it and will show the best of tenacity to win the trophy.

Tanzania won and qualified third. They will have a tough game next time against one of the top teams and it will be harder to qualify. For Tunisia, this team is a bit weird and unpredictable. I doubt they will advance far in the competition at the opposite of Nigeria which is doing great so far. They are maintaining the first place as the best team scoring goals. Super Eagles should be able to play finals in this version of Africa Cup of Nations.

I also  think for the first few games the super eagles are really doing well this season with think there know for special surprise winning this happen every season which at the final it going to be a loss loss at the end of the game, well this might be the opportunity we have all be waiting for, to prove fans that they can still do with out the payrolls…Funny it now sounds like most of the players of the super eagles are not even the full squad…i was shock at the hearings of this it such a shame to the NNF and to our governments that only after their own gains.
