What I want the CAF to know about their action of stripping Senegal of the AFCON 2026 title is, the whole world is watching them closely on how the case will be judged as Senegal has taken CAF to the Court of Arbitration for Sport(CAS). There and then, CAF, Morocco, and Senegal will be judged accordingly with pure facts, based on what happened on the finals day. Till that time comes, Senegal is parading the AFCON trophy, and they are refusing to accept the ruling of CAF to strip them of the AFCON title

I don't think CAF care what the rest of the world could think about this decision. The simple fact that as soon as the news came out everybody thought it was some kind of prank and/or fake news says it all. It's something completely unbelievable, totally nonsense, and clearly this decision was taken by extremely corrupted people. This is one of the worst decisions in football's history. And the message is clear: pay us enough (I talk about CAF) and you'll be able to win the trophy. On the pitch or in court, it doesn't matter, they'll find a way.

This shows that football is dead in Africa because they have turned it into politics and you know what that means, CAF is after their own selfish interests. I believe that they should all be sacked from office and be replaced with new ones. It's just like my country election that the court has the finals say on who wins the election. CAF can’t continue doing what they usually do. I don’t think Senegal players really care about their decisions anymore. I don’t even think the Senegal players would be interested in the African cup of nation anymore, so it is not a big deal for them. Any decision they take right now they don’t really care and I think the Senegal football federation is also in support of them, I really don’t understand why a country will win a football match, and the cup of nation is handed over to them and they celebrated months later you are coming to say they didn’t win it anymore those that sound right. If you listen to his statement about the Moroccans, he said that they were the most supportive FA financially in African football, and when no country was interested in hosting the female afcon, they willingly step up and remove the shame from the government body, so that was the main reason they were doing everything to make sure that they won the afcon so that the Moroccans will be pleased. This was how they try to cheat the Nigerian female team, but they still lost to Nigeria since the Nigerian female team was too strong for them, now they took it to men's afcon.
So for African football to be saved from this corrupt men, they all needs to be replaced like you have said already, with someone that has more dignity like Samuel eto that fans across Africa are clamouring for him to take over from Patrick motsepe.

The message was stated clearly by the US president. He said, that he can not allow the world biggest terror to possess a nuclear weapon. For me it clearly stated and even though I don't know how some of these things work, you may I don't know why US would strike directly even when they still haven't attempted using any of them. Things like this are happening and that is why many are thinking that sport games are being rigged to a certain extent, manipulation is not easy to achieve when it comes to football, but we cant also denied the fact that there is little of what is being called politics in all these, starting form their judgement down to some other decisions being made in favour of some and against the other, therefore, this makes me keep thinking on whether if this kind of decision making process also exist in some major leagues too or not.

The perfect time for CAF to implement article 82 on Senegal was when they walked out from the pitch when the game was still on but since they failed to do that they don't have the right to implement article 82 on Senegal again because Senegal and Morocco continued the game and played to the final minute of the game, and it's not that CAF failed to inform the referee about article 82, they didn't declared Morocco winner after Senegal walked out from the pitch because they just want to make up for the  referee mistake of awarding Morocco a penalty.

We don't have to be a nationality before we speak bad of something that is not good. Afcon has became a mess, the last one Nigeria played with Ivory coast look cheated but we didn't complain anyways. The way they didn't allowed Nigerians into the stadium and we're booing our players says alot in that match but Afcon didn't says anything regard those abnormalities, that means the allegations of Afcon supporting host countries is true.

What Did Senegal did to warrant this embarrassment, I mean look at everything they did and how the match was played, they still feel Morocco was cheated. Let's assumed that they finally collected the Trophy from Senegal and want to gave it to Morocco, are they going to do it or how are they going to present the trophy to Morocco and how will they even accept it if not for hypocrisy.

It is really sad seeing that African football is gradually going into this decay and is unable to get it fixed before it becomes a broad daylight fraud and people no longer finds interest in it anymore. you are saying something very true and one which i can agree with, tis whole situation is sending across a really terrible precedence that may end up causing others to gradually despise the African football because they could predict the supposed corrupt practices they will be seeing, i wish this set of leaders of the football body will leave and let us see some changes.

The perfect time for CAF to implement article 82 on Senegal was when they walked out from the pitch when the final was on but since they failed to do that they don't have the right to implement article 82 on Senegal again because Senegal and Morocco continued the final and Senegal scored a goal and won the final, and it's not that they failed to inform the referee about article 82, they didn't declared Morocco winner after Senegal walked out from the pitch just to make up the referee mistake of awarding Morocco a penalty.

I have spoken about this in my past thread. CAF president and other top officials were present at that match. The match would have ended when all the Senegalese players left the pitch. Some people are arguing that Segio Mane didnt walk off the pitch. Morocco would have been declared the winner with three goals and the trophy would have been awarded to the host.  

In court some laws are waived because of public views. Some judgments can destroy the reputation of an organisation. CAF would have turned a blind eye and let the issue slide.

2025/2026 AFCON was really a mess to say the least, it's very very unfortunate how things turned out because as much as the management of the tournament tried to hide their corrupt practices, every thing still appeared glaringly clear in the eyes of every who cared to pay attention to see..

Morocco clearly did not win the AFCON,  but as the hosting nation, it's supposed they have spent alot of money to ensure the success of the tournament, but then, it seems they nation had before the beginning of the tournament went into agreement with CAF that they (Morocco) must be supported to win the Afcon, and this is why even when malpractice was Clealy visible, the CAF still went ahead to award Morocco the winner of the 2025/2026 Afcon tournament, not minding the opinion of the general public.. I just look forward to the next tournament and hope this type go malpractices doesn't occur again.

Sports is an entertainment that is not use in the way the president is saying, if Morocco was the country he likes the most because of their immense help on the nation both on female AFCON or the main AFCON is not a reason to change the reality because of them, I don't no if he was ones a footballer or someone who knows everything about sports because for all that happen in this AFCON explains that aside from politics he doesn't no much about sports because we haven't seen this in any league, there are matches fight happen but the decisions always stays firm.

When I first read this news, I also felt anger, but after reading it more calmly and understanding why CAF was making this decision, I stopped feeling that way and agreed with CAF. The rules are clear: the Senegal players left the field without the referee's permission. There's no way to break rules and not be punished. You and all of us have seen referees giving red cards during games in the major European leagues, and the team that disagrees appeals, and the decision is overturned, often days after the game has ended. So what CAF is doing is nothing new in football.

Full time result from the friendly between Germany and Ghana ends in 2-1, with Ghana almost having a draw which I am sure they would have celebrated after losing to Austria earlier. The black stars show a promising prospects, the team just needs some more time together so they can play as a team.
Who watched the game? you would have seen that Ghana after gotten the equalizer looked very satisfied with that and did not push for more, it is possible that they could have won.
