I just saw on Gistlover blog that CAF has placed severe sanctions on Senegal and Morocco. According to the information, the Senegal coach has be banned for five CAF matches and he is to pay a fine of $100,000. Senegal Football Association has been levied about $615k for the misconduct of their staffs, players and supporters. As for Morocco, Achraf Hakimi has been suspended for two matches then the Morocco Football Association was fined $315k almost half of the fine given to the Senegal FA. These are really outrageous amount but do you think that the fine given to Senegal is fair? for me i already knew that Senegal will get the higher fine because of the fact that the coach ordered the players to leave the pitch and they did, that's really a great offense which can attract a severe sanction.
I am happy that CAF has fined and sanctioned Morocco and Senegal for their misconduct in the African Cup of Nations final. But I think CAF is a little bit harsh on Senegal because they fined Senegal $615k and fined Morocco $315k, in which both Senegal and Morocco did what would have ruined the image of African football. CAF should have fined Senegal and Morocco the same amount of money for the judgment to be fair enough.
The least that CAF can do is give match ban and fine the two AFCON finalist and that is what they did, no amount fined each team can undo what happened, the amount that they choose to fine then is their decision and we can't do anything about it. I hope that the match bans and the fines will serve as a detergent to any team that goes against the CAF regulations because if things like these are left unchecked it will become a bad precedence for future CAF tournaments. Some people are saying that the fine on Senegal, is unfair but walking a team out of the pitch is not a small offence, although it worked out in their favor because they won. I think CAF did the right thing.
It's a shameful thing that when it comes to African football scene, we are still evolving when it comes to how we treat matters concerning football and getting things done rightly. Politics is still at its high level here. I do not see a reason for these fine differences. When both teams committed the same offense, yes, CAF did the right thing by placing a fine on both teams, but they should be fair with their justice. No team should be preferred over another when they commit an offense that attracts a fine, except for obvious reasons.

I honestly also believe that some Caf officials were aware of Morocco going to take the Goal keeper's towel because how can you explain that officials elected by Morocco and must have gone through Caf supervised training will do that.
Also the Moroccan team and officials has been doing that even before the final but Caf turn their back on it.
I think the sanction by Caf on Morocco for it was a move trying to act like they did not see it all .
Its very shameful that ball boys were attacking a professional footballer and nothing was done about it. I watched a video yesterday where Moroccan fans drew a banana to Stanley Nwabali, the Nigerian goalkeeper. I was so impressed with Stanley's reaction; he picked it up and ate it. He even encouraged them to throw more. Shame on them. This is the reason why they have been rejected by their neighbours and the EU. CAF should also take some part of the blame for its insensitivity.
I saw that moment Stanley Nwabali had too, if Morocco believes they cannot show sportsmanship to the people they are hosting, then they shouldn't host any sporting tournament any more. Hence it's looking as though the match will be tough against them, they will start throwing stones and flashing Lazer lights on the eyes of their opponents. against Senegal it was a different ball game as it almost looking at though they wanted to invade the pitch.

It is really sad a team and country will display this form of despicable behaviour because they were unable  to win, if they claim they aren't Africans, why then participate in an All Africa Nations competition, it goes ahead to display their living in self denial, even the Africans you want to claim you aren't part of, you cannot decently compete against them enough to display the superiority, rather you resulted to very unruly behaviour that tell nothing good about you, the fines for them should  be even far more above what they have been given or possibly a ban since  they are mostly in the claim that they are not Africans, they shouldn't be found participating in an African Nations game then.

That's the African way because they don't give punishment equally to any offense but instead they most look out some bases and the extent of how one side impose so much than the opponent so actually when they have there information they start giving based on who committed a higher offense and also the side that committed a little and from the conclusion you began to see how one country was much affected for the same thing. After understanding your point I agree because if it was the Westerner league this happen there is a high possibility of not seeing this kind of fines on the two countries.
