I just saw an article that Morocco have filed a complaint to FIFA over Senegal walk-out during the final. According to FIFA rules, the penalty is a 3 nil forfeit. What do you think will happen, and would you think it’s fair oflFIFA awards the trophy to Morocco because referee bias or not, Senegal was wrong to walk off the pitch.

Well things happen everywhere but on this AFCON it was too disturbing how people complained about one team but the truth remains that the referees used in the game are not up to the standards of the game, AFCON is not longer a small game that people overlook it’s now a uniting sport for all blacks and Africa itself so whatever is done in the AFCON is officially a center of attention so it needs more standard officiating.

Everywhere has been silent since the last Afcon, not fifa made a remarkable comments about the event, not Afcon president says anything and yet many Morocco fans were terrorizing other fans that came from other countries. They were showing high level of racism as if they were not African. They were openly saying it that they are not black and are not Africans, this was who they wanted them to win the Afcon but I'm glad they failed including the coach that try to manipulate the game.

Well it’s absolutely true that there is no comment on it but personally I don’t expect anything from anyone anymore because it’s over, if Morocco had won I would expect some speech from people but since they lost I guys it closes the chapter of cheating according to the rumored allegations but however what you said about they being racist is one that I can’t verify with prove but also I could sense it from the environment that such existed when Algeria did some demonstrations against DR.Congo but that wasn’t Morocco either so I am yet to agree on that.

My dream now is I want to see Nigerian host this Afcon so the world can see the better view of us as Nigeria but I want to see improvement in our stadium. Many of them are not upto standard to host any international match and we want to compete with other countries. If we develop our stadium and increase our standards, I'm very sure that what Morocco did will not repeat itself again. It's the same fifa allocation they get that we also get, we can do better.

Perhaps the current government in Nigeria is or the pas government is not vest on bringing such event into the country but always want to welcome Nigerians to the country if they win, what I’m saying in essence is that we probably might not host it anytime soon since our infrastructural development is not looked into as a country of high expectations.

I agree that, after the game is over and the trophy has already been awarded, there's not much that can be done about the result, right? The title was decided on the field, okay... But that doesn't mean the case should simply be ignored. If there was a serious refereeing error or unsportsmanlike conduct, CAF should investigate and punish, even if only to avoid setting a precedent. Changing the champion now seems impossible, but pretending nothing happened also sends a terrible message. The question is, will CAF really take this seriously or just let it go?

I am still surprised Morocco doesn't want to accept the fact that Senegal is the rightful winner of the Afcon cup. Since Morocco still wants to win the Afcon cup by all means, they should continue with their appeal, but they should know that CAF cannot award them the Afcon cup, so they are wasting their time. There is nothing CAF can do for Morocco again because they have compensated Morocco with the fair play award they do not even deserve to win. As for Senegal walking out in the mid-game of the Afcon finals, CAF will surely fine and sanction them when they finish their investigation.

When Morocco qualified to the final stage of the the Africa Cup of Nation after they defeated Super Eagle, a lot of people was hope for them that they can win the Africa Cup, due to how their performances goes well, but I don’t right from the beginning I don’t have hope for them to win. Because if you obverse their match against Nigerian in the Semi final, they way they where treating them was improper they feel that since is their own home they can do what ever they like so they can win the Africa cup.

Because the same way they treated Nigeria in the Semi final; that’s what they try to do with Senegal in final, but as the Senegal understands what they are coming up with, they make a plan against them and they where succeed.

Honestly speaking there was really a bad referee in the games that the super eagles played and this was not supported by us….well I feel that thing should be done right instead of ignoring what happened so it might not happen again well even through the games have really played it self i feel the organizers should deal more on this shit next two year’s.

To be frank, Senegal winning the AFCON was one thing that almost everybody that are not a citizen of Morroco were praying for because the match was almost rigged to the advantage of the morrocan players but as God might have it, they could not win the final and had to miss penalty that could have changed the outcome of the match to the benefit of Morroco.

I just hope this is not how Morocco is planning to co-host the FIFA World Cup in 20230. Their pride should be in African Football because it wont be tolerated on the big stage. If anything goes wrong, they will tag all Africans to be of this nature.

It’s even funny that the Moroccans want the trophy to be taken from the Senegal then handed over to them. Senegal are the winner of the African cup of nation, and there is nothing that’s going to change that, they just have to accept the loss and move on. I don’t even know why Moroccans think the trophy will be taken from Senegal and will be given to them, they tried during the tournament, but they couldn’t win the final, they should just try better next time.

The only  irregularities which I noticed is them leaving the field during the match, and the referee was the cause, and even if there is anyone irregularities, it’s already late, Senegal has been announced as the winner, and everyone saw it that they won the final, so it’s just going to stand, and nothing will change that.

I don't know if you are aware that Morocco is number one in sorcery in North Africa and Middle East, if not also West Africa. They are maybe among the top ten in the world in this stuff. So yeah they do believe a lot on these things and they do practice it widely in their country.
Voodoo is known to be practiced by some tribes and is of African origin. It was used on stadium and I am not aware if people doing it are kicked or punished by authorities... The guys there are doing weird things to see their team winning the match but they failed.

Players have already returned back to their club base and the world saw everything that happened in that final. Morocco made the AFCON look local with what they did, and Senegal players were also wrong as they left the field, in my opinion that's unprofessional. But whatever happened, it's already a bygones story just as you said, nothing can be done about that again.

Senegal performed better and that led to their victory and to me they are the rightful owner, so I don't think FIFA will do anything about this again unless if they want to be biased.

I am not aware about their sorcery at all, I used to think that these white skinned Africans don't practice such. There is this belief in Africa that black skinned Africans are the ones that mostly practice Voodoo so i am surprised.

Is there ever been a Time in the history of African Nations Cup or even other cups all over the world that after the competition is concluded, the winning team will be stripped off their trophy because of one or two reasons to be given to the runner up. This is something that is not going to happen and I don't think that it has happened before. The highest thing they have is individual sanctions and team fines that they are going to pay to CAF.

We have a lot of big countries that have more influence than Morocco in football, and Morocco can't influence FIFA to dance to their tone if they successfully co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2030, so it is easy for Morocco to plan the FIFA World Cup in 2030 the way they planned the 2025 African Cup of Nations.

One thing I learnt during the AFCON is that FIFA representatives were there during the semi-finals down to the finals, which I know after overseeing everything that happened over there, they wont allow such to happen in the FIFA World Cup.

Yesterday, I managed to watch the CAF Champions League, only for me to see that the same pattern of taking a towel from the goalkeeper happened there. It seems it all started from there, and CAF has not done anything to stop that nonsense.
