Nigeria takes the lead in the first half. Wonderful performance from Jordan, at least they are learning how to make good use of their set piece.

It was rather surprising to find them behind so early in the game. I knew Nigeria was definitely the better team and hoped that they don’t come up with one of those their bad performance and then, they found their way to an equalizer and before the closure of the half time, Fernandez gave Nigeria the lead.
Unfortunately, the lead could not hold as, Jordan did get their equalizer mid second half with Nigeria not being able to retake the lead.

The inter-confederation match between Dr Congo versus Jamaica in ongoing, i wish for Dr Congo to pass through the inter-confederation stage and also qualify for the world cup so that 10 teams can represent Africa let's see how formidable their force will be. Africa has been very backward when it comes to the world cup because none of the countries has been able to win the world cup yet. If Africa presents 10 teams when Dr Congo qualifies, they must all try as much as possible to make an impact in this world cup because it will be so bad that after FIFA expanded the tournament, no African country could reach semifinals or the final stage.

Unfortunately, the lead could not hold as, Jordan did get their equalizer mid second half with Nigeria not being able to retake the lead.

Jordan 2 - 2 Nigeria. Super Eagles failed to score in the second half and Jordan was able to finish the friendly game with a draw which is a pretty much good result for them.
This match is another reason why Nigeria should fix their national team for good if they want to appear in the World Cup in 2030..

I really give me joy to see how the super guys are doing well at this games most time all they need is extra motivation from the fans, not always speaking wrongly about how they play..

The match has ended already, and the super eagles couldn’t maintain their lead, the match ended as draw. I don’t really have anything to say about the super eagles in the match, it’s a friendly match but they couldn’t win the match. It’s a match which the super eagles are suppose to win easily, I was even thinking the match was just going to be kind of easy for the super eagles, but they couldn’t win in the match.

Super eagles are just full of surprises in matches, the matches which they are suppose to perform well, they not going to perform well in those matches, the ones that are not so important are the ones which they going to take so serious.

No matter how the super eagles perform in any match they plays now, am still going to complain about them, because it’s annoying that the super eagles won’t be playing in the World Cup tournament, that alone doesn’t make me rate them well no matter how they perform in any match.

Watching the Super Eagles is really disturbing to the eyes, I prefer to watch the Super Eagles of the AFCON than watching this friendly games they played. Against Iran nothing changed compared to what I saw against Jordan today and sometimes I tell myself that we deserve not to be in the World Cup but at the same time these guys that did good will have to wait and struggle again to book a spot whenever the time comes, which we don't know if it will be in our favor for next World Cup qualifications, this is the best squad that are good for this Upcoming World Cup and since we failed them it becomes a difficult path for next time.

The match finally ended 2:2, Nigeria was in a better position to win this match. They had all it takes to win this match very well, but they messed it up. They were leading already why not prevent them from scoring, Nigeria are never serious in winning matches they usually blew up opportunities, and this is a really affecting them in every match they play they don’t have this winning mentality in them. This was the reason why we did not qualify for the World Cup a nation that has the level of players like Nigeria have should not be drawing a match with Jordan, I really don’t understand what is happening in the Nigerian defense and the team in general. I’m not so happy because I predicted Nigeria to win in the match

I wasn't expecting the Super Eagles to win when the coach decided to try new talent. Erich Cheile knew this was the only opportunity he had to test the other players on the bench. Unfortunately, they disappointed him with a draw. The defense was weak, especially the LB defender. If im not mistaken, Zaidu Sanusi handled the position.

Their next opponents in the group stage will be Portugal before facing Colombia and Uzbekistan. Portugal will be the hardest one. Uzbekistan should be easy and Colombia is the key teams. They should win against Colombia and Uzbekistan to pass.

Congratulations to our African brothers. They proved to be a high-fighting side that was hungrier to go to the World Cup. They will have our support when they start playing. We are hoping that another African country will make us proud like out half African brother Morocco (they said they are more Arab than African). 

Nigeria would have beat Jamiaca if we played them. But I don't know if it would have gone our way since Victor Osimhen is injured.

Their patience and consistency paid off, and even with those disallowed goals, they still showed they were the better side on the day. That kind of composure is what you need at a tournament like the World Cup but looking at the group, Portugal is definitely the toughest challenge and that is going to be a serious test of their defense and discipline. Colombia is tricky too and they are unpredictable and can turn a game around quickly, so that one feels like the real decider. Uzbekistan, on paper, looks like the most winnable match, but in football, nothing is ever guaranteed. If DR Congo can stay focused and take their chances, especially against Colombia and Uzbekistan, they are got a real shot at getting through the group and it won’t be easy, but they are already shown they can rise to the occasion.

I like that he will be going to the World Cup, however, I think he may need to be more innovative because if his country is knocked out in the early stages of the tournament, then what happens to him?

I am happy that DR Congo made it 10 African countries that will play at the 2026 world cup. They fought doggedly even when Jamaica proved stubborn at full time, but Alex Tuanzebe scored in the 100th minute of extra time and sent Democratic Republic of Congo to the world cup. It's indeed a memorable and emotional moment for the DR Congolese fans. Nigeria would have been in the position that DR Congo is now, but they were not diplomatic because they didn't apply the kind of energy, determination and resilience as DR Congo did.

I have spoken about this in my past thread. CAF president and other top officials were present at that match. The match would have ended when all the Senegalese players left the pitch. Some people are arguing that Segio Mane didnt walk off the pitch. Morocco would have been declared the winner with three goals and the trophy would have been awarded to the host.  

In court some laws are waived because of public views. Some judgments can destroy the reputation of an organisation. CAF would have turned a blind eye and let the issue slide.

If Segio Mane not following his teammates to walk out of the pitch is the reason why CAF and the referee that officiated the African Cup of Nations final couldn't declare Morocco winners at the time Ten Senegal players walked out of the pitch, that means Senegal didn't break article 82 and CAF doesn't have the right to declare Morocco the winners now. CAF just want Morocco to win the African Cup of Nations by all means but they won't achieve it, because even though CAS rule in CAF's favor, I believe Senegal won't release their trophy to Morocco.

No matter how the super eagles perform in any match they plays now, am still going to complain about them, because it’s annoying that the super eagles won’t be playing in the World Cup tournament, that alone doesn’t make me rate them well no matter how they perform in any match.

What is most painful about this whole thing is the team that DR Congo faced to make it to the World Cup, it was so easy for them despite us playing better in that match and lose out on the qualification. Anytime I remember this, I just felt we missed out on the opportunity from the group stage match to have allowed South Africa get the qualification ahead of us, we were the better team than them but we didn’t make use of the chances in those matches that could have given us the lead. Penalty was a game of luck, and we missed out on the shootout to end our dream of the World Cup qualification.

FIFA World Cup Qualification Intercontinental Play-offs matches are on and teams are playing very well in the tournament and DR Congo national football team played match against Jamaica national football team and that was not one sided match because there was only 1 goal in this match. Tuanzebe was a person who did goal of the match and he did this goal at 100 minutes and before that we saw no goal in this match. Jamaica national team has millions of fans and heart are broke after that .  Jamaica national football team should learn from their mistakes which they did in last match and they have to improve their performance if they want to win next matches.  Goals are necessary to win every match.

Ghanaians are sad about that friendly whooping of ass by the Austrians, their fans wouldn’t be happy with that result but they’ll console themselves in that Nigeria isn’t going to the World Cup.

It is agreed that it is just a friendly game, but why can it not be that it is Ghana who are on the winning side?

I would have understood if the team they were playing against were a strong side like the team they are going to play next, which is Germany, but losing by such a huge goal margin to Austria, a country not known to be a football power, shows that they will be weak representatives of Africa in the World Cup.

In my opinion, Ghana were the better side even though they lost the game against Germany.

Do you think Germany played at their best? If you think so, then you clearly have not seen them play.

The Ghanian players were putting in extra effort because of how they lost the last game, and they still lost the game. The Germans enjoyed the physical test that the Ghanians brought; if they were out to prove a point in that game, like an all-important game for them, they surely would have had more goals.

It is not only Germany that did not played at their best, Ghana did not played at their best either because it is just a friendly game, and in friendly games teams do not play with their full strength, and they do that just to avoid injury. If it was the Germany that won the world cup that was held in Brazil in 2014, i would have agree that Germany would had scored Ghana more scores if the game was an important game, but since this Germany has failed to play as expected for years and even lost to Japan in the last world cup, i disagree, Germany would not have scored Ghana more scores even if the game was in the world cup.

I was beginning to wonder if Nigeria is not going to play any of this International friendly matches other countries both in Africa is playing but it was good to see them after the African league. Super eagles was in a full squad but I didn't think it was going to be draw when Jordan was supposed to be won because they don't have any serious excuses of an important competition for them so for the fact they engaged any country for a friendly I expect all in the match. Ivory Coast won Scotland 1:0 but if it was the eagles they would have been beaten instead of Scotland.
