Those are teams will play with Nigeria again and for the current Super Eagles squad if only this is what will display in the qualifiers matches, Super Eagles will definitely do well this time. I have not supported Super Eagles in the qualifiers stage or group stage in the past but for now they are not in bad shape. But their first and second matches in the qualifiers stage will tell us their next matches. There's no guarantee that the Super Eagles will qualify so don't put much hope on them because they don't take playing for their nation seriously. However, I hope that they don't end up in a mess of struggling to qualify as usual because that's their own culture. I find it difficult to understand why the Super Eagles are always repeating the same pattern on how to qualify for any international competition. They don't show some class of quality in them to just win all their matches and qualify easily.

That is one of the problem that the super eagles have feels like all the players are feeling big to work together and before they can get the result they want the team work have to be strong I use to remember how strong the super eagles use to be then but now they are one of the most unserious country and the way we expected them to perform during the afcon but unfortunately they even did worst but what do we do and Nigeria could not even qualify for the world cup is just a disgraceful thing they did because the Nigeria players we grew up seen are not the onces we have to today. I don't even like watching there games because to me it is no longer worth it because they won't even go anywhere so we have lost faith in them, and they want reward and they are not making us proud because it is always different when Nigeria is participating everyone becomes very happy then the next thing is for them to be removed.

Won't it be a mockery if Nigeria doesn't qualify for the AFCON, in a group with small countries. The level of disappointment will be so much that Nigerians will demand that all the players retire or the coach be changed. I don't believe Nigeria won't qualify, i know that our players sometimes give us the shock of our lives, but this is not about winning the AFCON, but qualifying to play in the tournament, we must be there.

The Super Eagles are unpredictable as far as football is concerned they always struggle to qualify for a tournament even when they are drawn alongside weak teams just like they have been drawn alongside weak team like Tanzania, Madagascar, and Guinea-Bissau, but just like I said in my previous post you quoted, I just hope we won't need miracle for them to qualify in the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
The super eagles should find this one very easy and not find it hard to qualify. The teams they’ve been grouped against are not a tough team for them to actually find it hard to qualify. Even though the Nigeria team always have a bad history of finding it hard to qualify especially in recent times, I still think they can pull this one through and see themselves playing in the next African Cup of Nations competition. Nigeria has very good set of players but since they couldn’t make it to the World Cup, we’re still going to support our owns that are representing us there. I can’t wait for the World Cup to begin, they’re always the best competition to watch after every four years.

My friend i wash you understand the game of football which means it doesn’t look like the super eagles are to win and also having it that football is a game of luck…it might even happen that the super eagles tha are so full of talent of letting their country down and here you are praising them to win the game…. Well said when you said the super eagles have a better squad but they don’t have that’s togetherness in them and feel that is the main issue the super eagles are having… They are changing little by little and is very quickly for a team to divide them self not having that togetherness and this alone can been disqualify….

Madagascar is in the qualifiers stage of the World Cup. But judging from the Super Eagles’ previous performances, we can say that their games against teams like Madagascar 🇲🇬 and others can be speculated to be positive this season of the World Cup.

I don't believe Nigeria won't qualify, i know that our players sometimes give us the shock of our lives, but this is not about winning the AFCON, but qualifying to play in the tournament, we must be there. We must be there that's certain judging by the caliber of players we have and teams that fall in the same Group L with us. The last time we failed to qualify out of the group stage was in 2017(Egypt qualified ahead of us) ever since then, we have been qualifying for the AFCON tournament every time. This year, I doubt if it will not be the same Super Eagles to appear as top contestant for Group L for AFCON tournament qualifiers. That being said, AFCON qualification shouldn't be what we should be debate about Super Eagles not qualifying to, because they will. The area we should raise an eyebrow to, is the AFCON trophy and World Cup qualification for the next four years. We should know better that before then, the majority of our current players may retire from football or may not be in good form to represent the Super Eagles for Africa tournament and the World Cup qualification.

This is not the first time Nigeria is not qualifying for the world cup tournament and this will not be the last time if the Nigerian government does not take sport seriously especially football. We had plenty of chances to qualify but because the system is corrupt, that was a big meltdown for players that are on morale to play to their best.
With the players the super eagles are having, I don’t even think they are suppose to be finding it difficult to qualify for any competition, because they have one of the best players in Africa, but it’s surprising how the super eagles do end up performing so poorly that they can’t even qualify for the World Cup. Super eagles couldn’t qualify for the World Cup, and they couldn’t win the last African cup of nations, thats so bad for them. Honestly you just said our problem, and it’s corruption, thats just what’s affecting us, and it’s not making anything move forward in the country.

So they want any country that host the African cup of nations to win the cup as a reward. That doesn’t really make sense, if things continue like that, then nobody will take the African cup of nation’s serious, because every country that host the tournament is the one which is going to win it.
That CAF wanted to do is completely rubbish, we all watched the AFCON, and we saw who won the African cup of nation, so why trying to give another country the trophy. We all saw some irregularities that happened in the final, the referee tried to favour Morocco during the final of the tournament, but they were not successful. I feel corruption is just what’s affecting us, and if things like this continues in the AFCON competition, with time people won’t even be interested in watching it.
This is the first time I have heard of such an accusation. I dont think CAF was interested in supporting Morocco to win the AFCON. However, I only suspect how they were favoured in some matches, but other teams were favoured as well. By favour, I mean, they got away with some fouls and tackles, etc. The intention was not clear, because I would have noticed. In international competitions, the best side always wins. For me, Senegal was the better side, and they won it. What Morocco did in the Afcon cannot happen in UEFA European championship, Copa America, North, Central, and the Caribbean, AFC Asian cup, and OFC Nations cup, and for CAF not to break silence and immediately condemn what Morocco was doing in the Afcon clearly indicate CAF were interested in helping Morocco win the Afcon but they could not achieve it because Senegal stood against the injustice CAF and the referee pulled out in the Afcon final just to help Morocco win Senegal in the final but it did not work out to them as plan

Hosting a tournament is not just an easy task to do as it involves capitals and any nation that is not well to do can not be able to do so because they do not have the capacity to host it. Moreover majority of the African nations do not have quality and world class and standard stadium which are the necessities involved so morroco seems to be the only African nation that is willing to do such but even at be then, the CAF should not be biased but to do things accordingly to avoid conflicts. CAF biased act resulted to this mess going on with the African football currently and it has a somehow lost value as initial.
There are a lot of African nations that has the capital to put the things that will allow them to host African tournaments in place but they chose not to do it because of their greed. African nations that have the resources to build standard or world class stadium should walk towards that so they can be hosting African tournaments, and it will also relieve Morocco the boarding of always hosting African tournaments. We can say that this is attributed to bad leadership as African leaders are just naive and ignorant of many things but rather they only focus on how to enrich themselves and nothing much but I believe with time the narrative would change as we have seen some new African leaders with vision and are ready to further develop their country giving more meaning to their respective countries as a whole. Currently, I don't think some of the African President's takes sports seriously otherwise they would have given it more attention like building stadiums and many more sports facilities so that sports events could be effective in their various countries.

On paper, this group looks easier for them, so fans will expect them to qualify without too much stress. With players like Victor Osimhen leading the attack, the super eagles definitely has enough quality to dominate this group if the team plays with seriousness and consistency. Fans just want to see the players give their best and avoid unnecessary mistakes during qualification stage.

Their is not a single year in the past 25 years that our super eagles team has lack quality players, because we have always have top players, playing in top european clubs side, but the problem we have always had, is the poor choices of manager by our NFF. We saw how we missed out in participating in this upcoming world cup taking place in Us/Mexico and Canada just because we hired the wrong managers from the the start of the qualifying phase because they were the cheaper options, but since Eric chelle is still our super eagles manager, I trust him to do a good job by winning this group because he has already had his finger print on this team already.

Nigeria is use to being in group A of every starting but however it doesn't mean anything because if they are going to qualify they will, this is a group of two to stay and two to go out, so in the super eagles group, Morocco is to have an assured spot for the two that would stay because the country doesn't end in group stage and super eagles would also definitely be the second team because Gabon and Lesotho are small country with limited international players. I'm also seeing another group were super eagles are in group L, so how come they are appearing twice on different group? Or are my misunderstanding the group table?.

Do you think Nigeria players give a fuck if they do not qualify for the AFCON even with those nation that are not up to their level in that team, you see that prayer warriors has to for them to qualify, I'm not supposed to joke with this but thats the reality here and whether we like it or not, the NFF has not gotten it right yet, it is a shame that Nigeria keep struggling when they are not supposed to struggle, I will keep saying that in any football that has to do with Nigeria, just watch the match and rest your head no much thinking, I have decided that anyhow it is we take it like that, we only have deadly politicians not people that cares of about changing of national team for good.

The poor coaches is one thing, but that is not all. The whole management of the team is very poor. You see delayed flights, unpaid bonuses, influence on the team by top people and many more things that make the team play poorly, including, pitch, support from the fans. If a good coach is hired, the tea would play better, but they still won't bring out their best because of how the NFF manages the team. This poor managements also affect how the fans support the team. There is so much politic in the NFF and this is not only football. Other sports also suffer the same thing. We always see Nigeria athletes complaining of poor gear and training facilities. They even give them less clothes than they should. Things that don't cost anything to provide, but because the politicians have so much greed, they keep all the resources for themselves. With that kind of attitude, the country won't move forward at all. We would continue roaming around the same level till the actual problem is solved. This poor managements is the reason we have a very poor local league. We see match fixing and fighting. Very unprofessional behaviors, caused by poor managements. If we don't have a good and competitive league, we would never be a serious footballing country. The home based players cannot improve enough to play for the national team. If you look at the countries doing well in the world right now, they have good local leagues. Even South Africa have a good local league and they are doing better than us. Nigeria have a lot of players to win the AFCON and compete up to the quarter finals of the world cup. Players have not really been our problem. Players was not the reason we couldn't qualify for the world cup. the teams we played didn't have better players than us.

The truth is that they always have talented players, but sometimes they make simple qualification matches look difficult. On paper, this group looks easier for them, so fans will expect them to qualify without too much stress.
Any team that wants to succeed need at the same time a good owner, a top coach and good quality players. I want to add that the whole team in the management like those who occupy with the goalkeeper or doctors...are important keys for the success. When it comes to Africa or Asia for examples, most teams and their owners, and eventually countries and their federations want to see good results with zero spending if possible. For Nigeria, the management might be broken but also the federation and those in charge for the national team lacks motivation and skills to facilitate the tasks of the Super Eagles.

There's nothing black African leaders take seriously the love they have for money and spirit of embezzlement won't allow them build infrastructure and make things easier for their citizens rather they prefer to embezzle money and travel abroad for relaxation or for medical checkup.

African leaders African of poor mentality that does not allow them to go beyond the limit they have been operating on ever since, this is why we see in the developed country today that is spend a lot of money to ensure that activities like sports are being taken care of, not only that they also ensure that this same development spread across other aspects in order for them to get the best of the necessary amenities to enjoy those services, now here is where the difference lies, in Africa, the politicians will prefer to engage public fund for their own personal use than for national building, well this is not possible with the Western world.

I am going to say that most of our African leaders are the ones giving every African the bad name they carry around the globe and virtually every criminal thinks he's only mimicking the leaders. But then, infrastururally in sports, there are still countries that give their best. The last African Cup of nations host country, Morocco actually had some good playgrounds because some of them still are not qualified to be called a stadium. They still have one of the bests stadiums in Africa and based on their recent improvements in football, we can agree they they have invested handsomely in this game of football. This is what I can say is the reason behind their many successes recently even though they gained some points and wins through some suspicious means but everyone knows how solid their team is which is why why they are ranked top of the continent. Senegal now one of the best leadership and team investment, and we can also see it in their performance too. The game of football is a given and take relationship, if you invest in it, you will see results but when you don't, everything will keep falling apart.

You are right and nothing pass all this than the way they are being corrupt, that we have a poor background doesn't mean we shouldn't make up our mind to give out the best and also expect perfection, politics is not a dirty game, but the mindset of those that are in politics is what makes other feels otherwise, there are many aspects that the government have to show interest so as to encourage for more active participation among the people, this could also attract other than governmental organization to show interest when they see that government is putting in a lot of resources to make the economy boost through those sections, but a poor man mentality will always limit him to being selfish to himself and others, this is why many of them are found greedy enough to loot government fund into their own pockets.
