If France wins the World Cup, I’m certain there won’t be headlines like Europe won the World Cup. Banter aside, if Morocco eventually get to the world cup final, Nigerians will celebrate them. Let's not try to bring European into the picture like they don't banter each other, Many Portugal players are very hating on Argentina not to make it to the world cup final and that is the same energy they are doing and there are some that are rooting for each countries, this things happens everywhere and it's not like Nigerians hate Ghana for any reasons.

You see the way the countries are divided right now, you will see how countries will be merge into two. There are countries that will be supporting country A and there are countries that will be supporting another country B, that's how it will be but for now, that division will be there until the final. Beside, you don't expect another country fans to support other countries when their own country is still in the league. I believe since the beginning of the league, we all supported Cape Verde, every country love this team.

Why are you underrating Morocco? A team that got to the semi-finals in the last World Cup. The Atlas Lions have the qualities to beat any team in the world. Did you believe that Cape Verde would hold Argentina for 111 minutes and lost the game because of an own goal.

We know that France are the favorites to win the game, but saying there is no way Morocco can win is a let-down to the North African side.

It's the same France that eliminated Morocco is the last world cup in the semifinals so, Morocco should be aware of that and play their best to see if it can scale them through but I'm not putting my hope in them winning France. However, I will be happy if they can do it but their chance is very slim.

I'm betting on a draw (meaning a repeat of the Morocco vs. Netherlands match). Morocco is a very disciplined team. They can easily force the French to play slow, positional football. Therefore, a draw seems very likely to me. And, of course, high odds on such an outcome are attractive!

My only concern is that the French will accelerate from the first minute, gain momentum, and score against Morocco. Then it will be tough for the Moroccan players... After all, Morocco isn't known for its attacking style of play (especially against a strong opponent like France).💁

This was the most anticipated match concerning an African team for the qualification of the round of 16 and they nailed it. Morocco is the country that's represented Africa best so far, they didn't win through penalties or hope on late minutes win but scored three wonderful goals without any goal from the opponents.

 I take back whatever I've said out of anger for Morocco in the AFCON, their performance in this World Cup has made me forgive their AFCON controversy, reaching the quarterfinals is enough to support them and I hope they advance to the semifinals and also finals if possible so an African Country would finally reach the World Cup finals.

In fact the African team Morocco was able to show their artistic football against Canada in that match,It is perhaps not surprising that Morocco, as an African team, reached the quarter-finals in this World Cup, to my knowledge they had a lot of success in previous World Cup and they have been able to resist a team like Brazil in this World Cup. However they will be under the most pressure in the upcoming quarter-final match against France because it's seems to me France is the favorite to win the trophy in this World Cup.

At times we told ourselves why shouldn't like a country because of what they did but however we sometimes compromised the unhappiness we feel about them because of the position they have taken in the world cup. Actually even if I didn't start with supporting Morocco because of what we all no about them but I can't say I would have been happy to see Canada win them but however I was happy they're I still in the world cup and in another round and I'm beginning to forget how I was feeling before so you are right especially if we come to no that Morocco is the country that will get the victory from France.

Ghana is out, they played badly and are being attacked for their disappointing performance. Morocco is Africa, let's stop these divisions and support our own. Morocco is surely representing African now and if they get further out to the finals, they surely made Africa proud and we'll share in that pride. I wish that they defeat France in the quarter finals, so they get across to the semi finals and continue making Africa proud.

Morocco still the favorite African team in World Cup 2026 so far after success beating Canada and qualify to quarter final round, possibility have one African team left Egypt but in round of 16 against Argentina as the strong opponent teams not really sure will follow Morocco qualifying to next round.

Since the round of 32 performance of African team not really well success qualify until 9 teams but the round of 32 many team eliminated, now Morocco and Egypt last opportunity for African team and waiting both teams achievement how higher round will reach. Cape Verde was the surprise of this version of the World Cup by far, just like Morocco did in the previous version in Qatar. What makes Cape Verde even better is the fact that they don't have shiny players names, nor management nor millions of population, nor top infrastructure. They made it from scratch comparing to the other nations.
If Super Eagles made it to the World Cup, I doubt they could replicate what this small nation did it or do better than them. Even the other teams that massed the group stage, they did their best and didn't lose with shame.

Truth be told if Morocco or Egypt happens to win the World Cup, the headlines won't be African won the World Cup but it will either be Morocco or Egypt won the 2026 World Cup tournament. I must have the memory of a goldfish because I can’t remember the Super Eagles doing well in the last AFCON. All I can remember is the players boycotting training due to financial issues with the NFF. I’m sure if they had qualified, it would have been one drama after another with the NFF.

It is not going to be an easy task for them to get to the finals, so far they have been playing wey well but we know how it is with the African teams when they are getting close to the finals now you will start seeing unfair treatments from the referees that will be in charge of the games but let's hope that they both get to the semi finals first then we will give them our full support in the finals. Therefore, Morocco still has a chance of beating France. It would be historic if Africa won the World Cup.

He knows that game is going to be his last match so it's expected that Egypt will lose to them. If they pass through Argentina, mehn history will remember them for it but the chance is rare.

Morocco to me looks good to make it all the way to the finals. But I doubt the Egyptian side's capacity to go that far. I might be wrong because football is unpredictable. However, from my estimation, the Pharaohs have been struggling in some of their games. This has made me believe that they might be defeated if they meet a formidable side. The first test will be the game against Argentina tomorrow. If they can survive the defending champions, then I can bet on them to make it to the semi-finals.
