Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.
I don't think so. They are getting weaker and have no desire to find alternative jobs that match their passions. They make gambling their main source of income. The reason is that they are bored or reluctant to do heavy physical work. Many people tend to spend their money rather than increase their income. This often happens in my country. In addition, there are currently many online gambling sites created specifically to attract people to deposit money. They offer initial profits, but customers always end up losing. This case has even been reported in my country with the title “Gambling operators report losses due to members creating new accounts repeatedly.” It is a major mistake to rely on gambling, as I have observed that many people are losing their assets to cover their online gambling activities. They suffer losses and accumulate debt, forcing them to sell their land or homes to settle their debts. Perhaps treating gambling as entertainment is the best way to avoid greater losses. This means that controlling one's emotions is the best choice.

Those guys do not see gambling or make gambling as their only means to make money and they will not be addicted in gambling because they never depends on it to survive or feed, they might be gambling to see if they can be lucky some day to win some big amount of money through gambling. I don't think it is gambling that is pushing them to hustle for their daily living i will they are working to they can be independent and also without asking any one for money before they can gamble or selling property to gamble, i will say these are responsible gamblers.

Your observation is really great. But I think it depends entirely on one's perspective. Let's say if gambling is a motivation then it is very risky which can lead to financial problems. On the other hand if they act very responsibly and maintain their balance and do not harm anyone else then it is their own lifestyle. People and motivation projects will be different for some it is all about travelling and sports and for some it may be gambling. So I would not call it wrong outright but I would definitely look at it carefully. But yes in the end a question arises whether this lifestyle is sustainable in the long run or whether it truly matches the desires of life.
That's correct. It depends on how an individual will understand everything and be responsible with it. A person could just gamble and waste money without thinking, and then work hard again to gain more money then continue the habit. It's a bad cycle, so even if the person is a hardworking one, he is still wasting money on gambling. It's still better if a gambler understands the risk of gambling. He works hard to have excess money so he can gamble it, but then stops at the point when the excess money is gone. That's being responsible, and I think that or more inspiring than the first one.

Relying on gambling to make money is a very lazy thought of a man. I see such people as those who are not serious about their lives will not engage in such lifestyle. Treating gambling as an entertainment or for fun is the best way to engage in gambling. Like I play some of those gambling games on my mobile phone but I do them at a very flexible time when I'm less busy and have little time to do something different. I don't want to be carried away from the financial benefits that comes with gambling and to now become beclouded with its gains. Those guys do not see gambling or make gambling as their only means to make money and they will not be addicted in gambling because they never depends on it to survive or feed, they might be gambling to see if they can be lucky some day to win some big amount of money through gambling.

All I know is that if you want to gamble responsibly, you will have to reduce the monetary expectations you should attach to it. While we not only gamble for fun alone but also for money, we must not allow the money part to affect our brains. I think majority of gambling addicts are as a result of monetary expectations which drives people to keep gambling even when they are at the losing side because they expected they can recoup their money back after a bigger win.

I see this kind of lifestyle as voluntary slavery. Working your ass off just to waste the money on gambling is a financially irresponsible and it will ruin your mental and physical health. What if the guy gets a burnout? What if he loses his job or gets sick and can't work hard anymore? I never liked the "hard work-hard party" lifestyle. I'm a lazy person(and a moderate gambler) and I wouldn't stress myself out in order to make more money and spend them on gambling. Grinding/hustling doesn't make sense, if it doesn't improve your life in the long run. If would be way better, if those hard working gamblers had accumulated and invested a big enough amount of money, which would bring them dividends, so they could gamble with the income, that is being generated by their investments.

I choose to throw more light on the highlighted part because I still can't understand why some people wouldn't want to look for a tangible thing doing instead of them take gambling as a real time job, hoping or relying on gambling before surviving is a sign of weakness, greedyness and laziness as a man. It will be of great advantage if addicted gamblers can break out from that chain of gambling and get their self a legitimate source of living to fair for their self and family, however if you most gamble for any reason then let it be only for fun and nothing more.

I personally knew a man who did exactly as you described, he was an excellent lawyer and made quite a lot of money in the capital. But when it was time for the weekend, he seemed to become a completely different person and went to night clubs, as well as casinos, and by the end of the weekend he had little money left. After which he again became an excellent worker, and no one would have thought that he was a gambler with problems. In the end, we lost contact.

Your inspiration to work harder should not come from gambling because this means that your mindset isn't in the right place. if gambling is the reason why you work harder it means that all your attention would be diverted to gambling. You should work harder because you are trying to make yourself a better person and trying to hit your goals in life. Don't make this mistake so you don't end up wasting your efforts

Anyone with this type of mindset really needs psychological evaluation because it's not the right thing to do working hard so that you can use it to give to the casino is the most unfortunate thing that anyone can do. I am one of those people that stands with the theory that gambling should only be done with once discriminary funds if one is to have a balanced financial life, using your hard earned money for the purpose of gambling should not be encouraged by anyone anywhere.

I do agree that some people can maintain good self-control when it comes to gambling. For example, I set a monthly limit for myself, and once I've used up that amount, I stop and wait until the next month before gambling again.
Actually, everyone must have good self-control, it is the way to avoid possible problems in gambling. Sure, limiting the budget is one of the signs of good-self control. If we stick with our budget limit, we can avoid careless way in using money in gambling. You've done the right way, you will be safe as long as you keep doing this. This is a better thinking and acceptance. Not all gamblers are like that in their minds because the more we gamble, the more chance of losing and winning we get. But, that also closes the idea that we have to stick around in gambling if we want to either win or recover our losses.
Each person may have their own view. However, it is the fact that people who force themselves to gamble with the money they can't afford to lose, many of them end up with severe losses. Even, some of them can be trapped with loan because they take a loan to have more money for gambling. Well, we must be aware that gambling can't be treated like trading or investment!!

No, I will never consider them wrong because of gambling because they may have accepted gambling as entertainment, they may have been gambling for a long time, they are gambling responsibly, due to which they have not yet gone astray in gambling. I believe that if they thought of gambling as the main means of earning money, they would have become addicted very quickly and by now they might have become addicted to gambling and destroyed themselves and their families. There are some strategies in gambling, maybe all those strategies are very important to them, they are moving forward by adopting their strategies, due to which they are not getting addicted to gambling, they are moving forward by gambling responsibly. Therefore, everyone should gamble responsibly, gambling should not be used irresponsibly.

I wouldn’t think that to be the case, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve got to fuel their gambling activities but, these guys many times than most, would have taken money meant for something important and gambled it away. Now, they are left with a debt owed to themselves or others in times of, what they need to use the money on and they’ve got to get things done either they like it or not and so, they put in some extra time for some extra pay. That exactly is the case for most of these situations. In fact, I haven't seen someone very dedicated to work come home late, doing extra work for extra money, and only to end up in the casino. The worst part is that the person will probably walk out empty more frequently than walking out with an extra bag. But, I've seen a lot of people working 2-3 jobs, doing overtime just to pay off their debts. May it be for gambling or something else? I'm positive, it's not really gambling that fuels these people to do some extra work for extra money, but it is always the debt that needs to be paid on time, otherwise, extra charges will be put on top of the due amount. In all fairness to these people, I have to admire them somehow for facing their lapses compared to those who resort to suicide.

Some people will never learn and I believe this people are already addicted or almost addicted because someone who is not close to this..., will never for one day think of taking loan to gamble I mean that is crazy and that's the highest order and height of it all. I can not imagine myself going to loan money for me to use and gamble even on a normal day when I have money I don't gamble talk more of when I don't have, I will rather stay and not play game because the possibility of winning is not sure or certain and so losing the money will make you turn a debtor which is another thing I don't like. I think responsible gambling, is gambling when you have money and stay off when you don't.

Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.
In their case, they’ve been gambling for years, but they’re still responsible with work, so I don’t see it as pure irresponsibility. Their motivation might be different, but they’re still putting in the effort, even if the end goal is just to fund their gambling.
So how do you see this kind of lifestyle? Do you judge them as wrong because their reason is gambling, or do you respect it since everyone has their own way of finding happiness?
I think anyone can do whatever they want in their free time. Some people will have no issues having a normal and healthy life and also gamble on the side. Others might be consumed by the gambling, and end up in a very bad place. It really depends on the person.

To be able to work hard and in an efficient way it's already a good signal. He just needs to stop the cycle of debt, so he can put his hard earned money into good use, instead of wasting everything weekend after weekend. To adopt or develop a more meaningful routine on the weekends should start being the priority. Also, to have positive influences from other people around is also a very helpful factor. To spend time with beloved people can dispel the temptations of the ephemeral pleasures which don't take him anywhere. It's not necessary to renegate gambling at all costs, rather it's advised to just decrease the frequency and time being spent on the activity.

Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.
Most of the people who work overtime for extra money do so out of stress to pay off debt. There are also a few who genuinely want to grow themselves, either for investment or to live a better life financially. Among these, there are a few who, after meeting their basic needs, set aside extra funds to gamble. Most of the gamblers I have seen work overtime because they are forced to pay off their debts. I agree with you that these people did not choose to work overtime because they were burdened with debt and if they do not do it on time, they will have to pay additional overdue charges against the debt. It may not be fair to say this unilaterally. I have seen many gamblers who prepare themselves to bet on a sporting event before it comes and save money through extra work. Winning or losing is not an issue for them. Participating in gambling in groups/individually is considered a way of entertainment for them.

As long as they can be responsible, I don't think there's a problem. It's a bit of a shame that they lost so much money on something so insignificant, but that's a consequence of their own choices. There's nothing wrong with their decision, as everyone is free to make choices and has the right to choose. I just hope they soon realize that investing their money in something more beneficial, like investing, is much better and more profitable in the long run.
