There are many reasons behind saying this, one of them is that human nature is such that when they come to you to make a decision, you analyze from your side and make a suggestion for them, then if they follow that suggestion and face loss, they will blame you. Actually, this has happened to me myself. My own friends came to me for suggestions in trading. You are not alone on your privacy oriented gambling pattern infact most of us gambling with cryptocurrency are all doing that because of the privacy it offers so for that reason having a gambling Friend is kind of hard to find since we intend to keep everything related to gambling private and not some lousy marketers who call themselves gamblers moving and chasing the crowd or group of friends, this doesn't add up in my experience it's better we gamble alone and with peace of mind.
