Have you already contacted their online support or maybe Steve in discord? Email says that if you believe the decision or the restriction on your sports betting was made in mistake, you can reach out to them for clarification.

But if you've already contacted them and this is their final decision, then I guess there's not much else you can do except leave Jackpotter and find another sportsbook..

The good thing, at least is that they didn't hold or confiscate the funds in your account, unlike some other casinos that would freeze or confiscate your balance when issues like this happen.

Thats my complaint! They had no issues with my 'strategy' when i lost 9 in row.

If they simply said we dont want your action or you won enough money, i wouldnt have said anything. But saying that i used 'prohibited strategy' does not sit right with me.

Its not a mistake, its a deliberate action to stop a player on streak from winning.

Without going into deep here, I can just say I am much more in profit during last few weeks and my account had no problems. It was only WC, Wimbledon and DOTA for me, but most of the winnings were on WC.

Looking forward to see how the situation will resolve, looks a bit strange to me. Main thing is you got all the funds. If some bookie doesn't want me, they just have to let me know, I will gladly pack my things and try my luck elsewhere But they know I will give it all back sooner or later.

I am pretty sure this will get resolved for Rohang, the problem on the other hand is what if this (and I am sure it does) happens to other people that are not part of the bitcointalk community.

In many cases in the scam accusation thread we have seen similar cases where people's accounts got blocked for the same reason, on different sites though. The none thing they have all in common is that betby was the odds provider.

I can actually see why your account may have been restricted, not that I agree with it in any way. Previously I've done matched betting on fiat currency bookmakers and it's quite lucrative, although I don't think this cross-applies to crypto currency bookmakers because they never give enough welcome offers to make it that profitable. The pattern of bets around the 2x multiplier is probably what flagged it up, but again - as long as their odds maker gives them accurate odds and they have enough margin built into bets I don't think there is enough room for arbitrage profit. Whoever made this ill fated decision probably assumed you were using this sportsbook to lay off/cover bets elsewhere that unlocked free bets. It's in pretty much every bookmaker terms and this is exactly the profile of behavior you'd see if someone was doing that. I've been banned from dozens of bookmakers for exactly this, but they always kept the official reason very vague and all you receive is a "Your account has been limited" email with no additional detail. No bookmaker will accept that type of betting pattern for long unfortunately, regardless of win or loss streaks.

i wasnt doing anything like that, simply LIVE betting on what i thought would win.

ALL those 2x+ bets are LIVE bets, and from what little i know about the arbs bettings/matched bettings, arent they more so done on pre match bets ?

Whats more confusing is i have been playing on other sites that use BETBY as well, Duel,500casino,razed etc. I think i havent hit 2x+ odds in a row there like i did on JP, but still i would assume betby tracks same players across different books as well so they should have more than enough data on me across multiple books using their platform. I would say your case is different, as you work with them on promos/advertising and what not. Rules are much strict and harsher for regular users like me.

There was a similar case to this (involving a Betby account flag on Jackpotter) which was overturned, let's give it some time.
The bets are OK, if there are no other issues with the account I expect this to be resolved to the benefit of the player.

We do allow the bookies too much in general - that's why Bitcointalk is so important in brand reputation building.

Thanks for the update and looking into this, steve+ JP team.

While the reason may not be due to a winning streak, you can probably understand how it looks from a player perspective, facing this issue right when things start to turn a little good for the player, especially for regular accounts who place bets almost everyday and not just some hit and run new player.

A good comparison would be how coaches take timeouts in sports like basketball, when the other team has the momentum and on a hot streak.
