I don't think it is only Christians that are getting killed in this  genocide, Muslims are also  killed too,  mosque are being burnt,  families are displaced, and also our political leaders also make up propaganda to change the ideology of people... So both Christians and Muslim are being killed always.... look at the situation in borno why don't report the Muslims that being killed in there everyday

Just by looking at this photo, one can tell that those victims were not Christians but were muslims. I mean when did an imam start conducting Mass Burials for victims of a different religion(Christianity). This the handiwork of the media spreading propaganda and causing division among the people. Muslims are the most killed people in the Northern parts of the country. Muslims villages and places of worships are constantly under attack by terrorists/Bandits. Go to Zamfara state,Yobe,Katsina,Borno and Adamawa states and see how muslims are getting killed by Bandits but yet,you will never hear nor see it on the media but once a christian community is been attacked, the Media houses picks it up just to cause Division between Muslims and Christians. They start spreading propaganda to paints islam as a bad religion. Bandits/ Terrorists causing mayhem in Northern Nigeria  are politically sponsored and are not true Muslims. Islam preaches Peace and not violence.

The only reason why these Western mouthpieces are using the term "genocide" to describe other atrocities in the world is to cover up the only ongoing genocide that these Western barbaric regimes are committing in Palestine.

They are not even worried about Christians being targeted otherwise they would have talked about Syrian Christians that have been getting slaughtered by takfiri terrorists (ISIS and al-Qaeda) under their new chief al-Jolani who is openly supported by the US regime. You won't see any of the Western mouthpieces talk about that calling it a "genocide" though:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5559780.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5559780.0

For example this was 9-10 months ago when these US-backed takfiri terrorists went around breaking any Christian icons, burnt their Christmas tree, burned people's homes, attacked churches, slaughtered thousands of minorities,.... They even called Christians "infidels" and called Christmas illegal (the announcement below).

That's the head of these Takfiri terrorists that US president Donald Trump is shaking hands with in the link above!
And those who attack civilians in Nigeria regardless of their religion, are the same Takfiri terrorists that are also backed by NATO and specifically the US regime.
You are absolutely correct and it’s great for one to always remember that it’s good to always do good and never be a supporter of everything.

I don't know whether there are Muslims who are prosecuted to death as many as there are Christian who prosecuted in Muslin majority communities. In general, Muslims tend to be more aggressive and explicit against those who don't hold and practice the same religion as them, actual christians don't have anything against Muslims, as Christianity is a religion of compassion and understanding, not a religion about war and blood shed.

What’s unfolding in Nigeria’s heartland is not just a political or regional issue. it’s a moral failure of high proportions. When entire communities vanish into ashes, when children wake to the sound of gunfire rather than the call to school or prayer, when the Church bells fall silent,  that’s not mere conflict. That’s a wound in the soul of the nation.

The mass killings of both Muslims and Christians alike in Nigeria began with the creation of the BOKO HARAM propaganda that was sponsored by some northern Nigeria elites that were against the government of the day at that year, a propaganda thay was aided by the then regime of  Barrack Obama who was unhappy with the then president of Nigeria Dr. Ebele Goodluck Jonathan for not signing in favour of the gay law policies that was presented to him with the Western influence.

With the BOKO HARAM they were able to  orchestrate the  fabricated kidnapped issue of Chibok girls from the northern part of Nigeria by the BOKO HARAM, all in the aim to destroy Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration by both the local elites and their Western sponsors.

As a result of President Jonathan's refusal to sign into law such unethical gay bill into law, Nigeria was befallen with many sanctions from the Western and European government that they blatantly refuse sell ammunitions to the Nigerian government of Jonathan's administration for him to use in combating their hydra Book HARAM.

Fast forward today, the hydra head is now loosed and  uncontrollable and have gone wild breaking out into further units like the herdsman and bandits, attacking innocent Nigerians killing both Muslims and Christians destroying their crops and communities. The government presently seem to be overwhelmed by the destructions caused by these killer men and this has been the situation till today in Nigeria.

Not a Christian genocide as declared of the op

I say no to any form of genocide in any country, genocide should be condemned in any part of the world and on any set of people.
The battle against genocide will have breakthroughs when we stop categorizing it, it should be a fight for everyone  and it should not matter which religion or country you are from.

Genocide, in any form, is a stain on humanity’s collective conscience. You’re right the moment we start dividing the victims by religion, race, or nationality, we lose sight of the real enemy hatred itself. The fight against genocide isn’t a Christian fight, a Muslim fight, or an ethnic fight it’s a human fight.

Until we all rise with one voice saying never again and truly meaning it, the cycle of silence and selective outrage will keep feeding the violence. Real progress begins when empathy crosses borders, when compassion outweighs bias.

You spoke truth with that statement unity is the real weapon against genocide.

The means through which the enemy has always penetrated into our midst to divide us as one people is religion, ethnicity and politicising of issues affecting us generally. From the north, south, east and west of Nigeria we're all plagued with the issue of insurgency for more than a decade and it grows worse the situation. The killings in Borno, Kaduna, Jos, Benue, and in some parts of the east all the victims of these barbaric acts are Christians and Muslims and even Traditional worshippers.  It's unfortunate that the media and some political benefactors of the situation decides to make it to the world a different narrative about what's really happening in some parts of Nigeria.

Anytime election is approaching that when you will start hearing about these sponsored propagandas from these shameless Western powers that have failed to remove the planks in their eyes before see the debris in another man's eye. So of all the thousands of lives that are being lost in this country on yearly basis, are all of them Christians? Why tagging the perceived genocides (if any) as Christians genocide? The others that are being killed that are not Christians who will speak for them or their lives are not important? Christianity and Islam are not African religion. We have our way of life before the western powers came and infiltrate our people with their so called religion that has caused more harm than good to our people.

They are using these religion to continually cause division among the people of the country to see themselves as enemies, rather than seeing each other as humans first.  It's time for the people of Africa to realize that these two religions they have been parading for years are instrument of control. Time has come do put them aside and embrace our own unique way of life of the African people our indigenous traditions and beliefs that advocate for respect and love for humanity.

There is nothing like a religious war going on in Nigeria or any form of war. I would say Nigeria is just facing a terrorism challenge, and no religion is being targeted; both Christians and Muslims are victims of the terror happening in Nigeria.

I would argue that this terrorism is more closely related to politics because the politicians know more about it, and I believe it is something they can handle if they genuinely want to fight terrorism, as I believe no terrorist group is stronger or bigger than any government. There is no genocide; the country is only facing a slight insecurity challenge and nothing more like war.

Over the years there as been these cases of genocide in Nigeria, this particular case is so saddening to see.

My suggestion to any form of killing irrespective of Religion; Christianity or Islam or any other is to defend and protect themselves without breaking the law.

Get some really armed security around worship centres and strategy areas, when this is done, the culprits or intending attackers would then know there's a contention, ad then keep off!

May their souls rest in peace!

It's kinda like this with Christians.

I want to stay alive, naturally. But I also want to stay alive to bring Christianity to people so that they make it to Heaven.

If I die, I lose the job of saving people. But, death may come in painful ways at times. So I avoid it.

However, if I can't avoid death, I lose my job of saving people. But I gain Heaven for myself.

Now, those of you in this forum who would like to wipe Christians out, please let me live in peace. But please find salvation so you can make it to Heaven.

@op, I honestly think that your post title is quite misleading as there is no religious war in Nigeria, especially targeted at people of a particular faith (Christians). What is happening right now is just insecurities coming as a result of failed governance. Some people have resorted to crimes and it is affecting everyone irrespective of religion.

There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria. Some media platforms will do anything to push a misleading narrative just for selfish gains and ignorant people will accept those narratives without doing a proper research.

Stay away from these information. We are a peace loving nation if anything happens, it is a terrorist act on behalf of an enemy country which is an attempt to increase ethnic division. Some news media in the country which is involved in false hype exaggeratedly spread the news without verifying the truth. Nigeria is a Muslim majority but the number of Christians is higher in many regions depending on the region but in most regions the coexistence of people of both religions has made it a peace loving nation. Some extreme minded Muslims or extreme minded Christian groups want to create unrest at the instigation of some powerful countries outside. Their aim is to help them by promoting the genocide of Christians deploying foreign troops and creating a war situation or a despicable attempt to thwart the government.

A lot of Christians are being killed in Nigeria and this has been happening for a very long time now and the Nigeria government is not even doing anything good in trying to stop this killing, the killing is now been noticed around the world, some Christians in the northern part of Nigeria has left there home and move to another part of the country because of the high rate of killing of Christians happening in that area, even church's where the Christians worship are been burn, if you are interested in knowing what is really happening you can watch CBN news on YouTube here is the link down 👇

This killing has to stop people should be free to practice any religion they wish to in a country where there are more than 1 religion.

I Say No To Christians Genocide In Nigeria.

Christian genocide in Nigeria is a false accusations and false alarm duly reckoned by whoever to send a wrong information through the media about the happenings around that region. We aware the country is going through lots of challenges doesn't imply that this issues should be brought out to spotlight inorder to tarnish the image of the Nigerians.

For what I know the insecurities of the country hasn't harness the growth of the country and hence there's no trace of christian genocide in Nigeria, there were situations of abduction and so on but all of it were all false.I think it's just a medium some sets of individuals needed to use to get ransom and funds from the country due to bad governance and leaders.

what is actually going on in Nigeria is not something that we should say is affecting only some groups of people. So it will be wrong to say that only the Christians are been targeted, however most of the victims are Christians since the perpetrators of this crime in the Northern part of Nigeria are Muslims. This is purely issue of insecurity and which the government has not really being trying to secure the lives and property of its citizens especially those that are residing in the north. I want to also say that nobody wants to tarnish the image of the country what they saying is a fact Christians are being killed in the Northern part of the country by boko haram which are purely Muslim, this a well known fact but I won't say for sure that they are killing only Christians.

I say no to any form of genocide in any country, genocide should be condemned in any part of the world and on any set of people.
The battle against genocide will have breakthroughs when we stop categorizing it, it should be a fight for everyone  and it should not matter which religion or country you are from.
One of the best ways to bring our beloved country ahead is to prioritize human lives over religious beliefs.  When politicians are campaigning and requesting our support and vote, they see us as one country, now that we're suffering from the killing of innocent souls, we need to voice out as one nation; our leaders are using insecurities as a way to make money for themselves due to security votes that they are receiving from the federal government. I'm not sure what kind of power bandits and boko haram have that they can't be apprehended. It's disheartening to see bandits kill people and post on social media, while when people try to express their freedom of speech on social media, they track them. Why can't our government use the same medium to track down those people if they truly aren't supporting them. We must all work together to stop the murdering; bandits do not distinguish between Muslims and Christians; they destroy churches and mosques at the same time; all they want is ransom, not religion.

This is only what the media shows you and that’s what you’re actually pointing to. Maybe you need to go round the world more, to other Muslim nations because not all Muslims are the same just like the Christians. Islam is a religion of peace and I can confidently say it is because the practices didn’t teach forcing someone into their own religion or killing and causing massacred. When next time you see someone causing harm to their fellow human being, don’t use religion to judge first but their nature and moral upbringing. Humanity should always prevail over religion, it comes first before any other.

I never imagined that some Nigerians would continue to believe this propaganda because, by now, we should realize that terrorism is related to insecurity and that it occurs throughout the nation. The fact is that both Muslims and Christians are being killed by these terrorists, with Muslims making up the majority of those killed in the North. Maiduguri, mostly populated by Muslims, has seen many residents flee to Cameroon due to the ongoing insecurity. Kwara State, once known for its peace, is now experiencing insecurity. The same issues that affected other areas are now being felt there. This shows that terrorism has no connection to religion. IPOB in the East would claims to be Christian, yet they're killing fellow Christians. We must unite and call on our government to address insecurity.
