I say no to any form of genocide in any country, genocide should be condemned in any part of the world and on any set of people.

Are you in Nigeria? If you are talking about the killing happening in Nigeria, you should know the killing happening in Nigeria right now is not about religion. I don’t know the part of the country which you are from, but if you know the killing happening in the northern part of the country, then you should know it’s not even about religion. Most of the attacks happening in the northern part of the country, muslim’s are being killed, so what are you going to say about that? Have you forgotten about Boko haram that has been disturbing the northern part of the country,  and Muslim’s are mostly killed, and Bandits are in northern part of the country, and Muslims are being killed, so why is it that the Muslims are not complaining that the Christians are behind it?

Last week I heard that bandits attacked a mosque after prayer and lots of people were killed, we have seen different mosque being destroyed, why is it that Muslims are not accusing Christians for doing that? By now average Nigeria should know that insecurity happening currently in the country is political, and both Muslims are Christians are being affected. Just because a Christian community in the northern part is being attacked doesn’t mean the attack is from the Muslims.

I don't think the killings in Nigeria has anything to do with religion, the killings in Nigeria is general and not specifically focus on Christian's. Normally am not really cool with the killings that is going on in Nigeria right now, a just within 3 hours 200 of Nigeria citizen's where killed and their houses where bount down on a broad day light in platue state by unknown people and the Nigerian government did not about it, no state of emergency nothing nothing, but just political banter between two politicians who came from the same state the acting governor of my state, rivers state and the federal capital territory minister,  state of emergency was declared by the president of Nigeria within 20 minutes and the military took over the leadership of the state for 6 months before the state of emergency was called off and governor returned back to seat. So what are my saying the current government of Nigeria is biase and the government have any good plans for her citizens.

However, this is a barbaric act and could lead to a religion war since Christians are the victims in this case, what if Christians retaliates against the muslim faithfuls what will be their fate then. 2. The YouTube video is a summary of documentation of village attacks by bandits that happened months ago but propaganda must be spread.

The fact is that the senseless killings in the northern part of Nigeria, has gone beyond religious genocide, these terrorists are killing people not minding their religion. Initially when terrorism started in northern Nigeria, the terrorists (mad people) we're targeting christians so that people will think that it was a war religious war. Then they started killing Muslims too, that was when most of us knew that they had their agenda all along. The terrorists were using Islam to camouflage their evil intentions, real Muslims in Nigeria, condemn them like any other right thinking persons.

Some people are of the opinion that high ranking politicians and top military officers serving and retired are behind them, in collaboration with international terrorism. I'm not someone that is blinded by religion I love and respect every religion and when I see a particular religion is been attacked I speak up for them because I believe everyone has right to worship or belong to any religion especially in a country that permit other regions, I'm not saying this is a religious war, according to the statistic and what I watched from the CBN news more Christians are been killed over the years and even churches are been burn more.
I'm from Nigeria and I hear the burning of churches, I have a family relative that lives in a part of Nigeria where this things happen there was even a time they stopped going to church so they won't get killed.

Some people has even stopped reporting incidence like this again because the government is not even taken action, and I'm not blaming any religion I'm blaming the government and calling them to make the country safe for people.

I still remember my thesis and research in school, my supervisor( a professor) told me never to cite Wikipedia as a source of information. It's not like they are not correct but most often, they contain misinformation and misinterpreted information.

When you said Christian killings, that means it's a recent information maybe since this administration came to office but the images you brought aren't even related to Christian killings, it's a Muslim community massacre. The two images are from 2020 and 2010, while your source says 2021 and made it look like it happened this year.

Do your research on Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, Bandit and kidnappers, these are paid campaigns by people that are not in power. These are politicians doing their atrocities to rubbish down any government they don't win or any government that doesn't gives them what they want.

In this situation of Christians facing violence in Nigeria is gravely concerning because countless people have been attacked cause of their faith, loosing their families, destroyed homes, churches burned and yet the world looks away.
But I will say that this do not affect only the Christians especially in the northern part of Nigeria both Christians and Muslims suffer same faith. The way Christians die is the way the Muslims die. I have seen many of those news floating around lately about an alleged Christian genocide going on in some countries of Africa, since we live in the ear of misinformation, I cannot tell what is real and what is some fake news specially made to target the mass audience in the west, for the sake of controlling the narrative.

You've said it all sir. I'm just going to add these few more lines to support the wonderful submission you made here. You know this whole idea of Christian genocidal narratives which have been several times seen floating everywhere around the social media and the internet is completely politicized and sensationalized. If you are fair about Nigeria issues and you understand exactly whats happening in Nigeria, you will realize Nigerias violence is extremely driven by complex issues peculiar to the country such as banditry, terrorism gamers and herders class, bad governance or poverty and there's nothing else like religious war. Once I see someone reducing issues like this to a religious war or genocide like its called is a very lazy framing of thoughts and false news.

The western world has a hand in most of these false naritives and it is important for us to understand they are doing it for their political and so called diplomatic reasons and not for anything progressive but the truth is, it is only whoever is victims then, it is never a selective attack on a particular religion or a genocide because Muslims have also been victim of attacks like this on several occasions.

What I think we all should be very thoughtful and careful about is the issue of generalizing motives.
