It really funny when some folks here think they are Bitcoiners just because they hold some amount of Bitcoin, anyone can buy and hold Bitcoin, thats what so many folks are practicing then they claim to be Bitcoiners. They fail to understand that Bitcoin was not just meant to be an investment, that's what many here think that Bitcoin is just an investment tool for just making profit. A true Bitcoiner doesn't just sit there with Bitcoin sleeping in your account, you need to be part of a certain movement, an action, not just about profit. How many transactions have you made in Bitcoin, how do you engage in Bitcoin beyond price and profit. You need to ask yourself this question (Am I a user or a Bitcoiner)
So my point here is that owning Bitcoin doesn't automatically make you a Bitcoiner, it just makes you someone with Bitcoin, and that's just ...uhmm I don't know, how do you feel if you realized your just a user.

In this investment journey we have different set of people which can be categorized as Bitcoin investors, Holders, traders Bitcoin Maxi. Each of this people have different function in the body of this Bitcoin. you can not compear a Bitcoin trader to a Bitcoin holder. A Bitcoin HODLer agenda is quite different from a trader but however all are thesame body of Bitcoin so don't be confused because everyone must not transact and everyone must not hold. The  chain will keep on moving since there are different people with different choices. Everyone must not be thesame, that's why you see the chart and candles stick keep rising and falling due to people demand and supply. So depit the amount held without usage, it doesn't stop Bitcoin from growing rather it even creat scarcity.

I agree with this sentence. I've been saying that for years. Holding Bitcoin alone doesn't make you a Bitcoiner as well as praying in the church doesn't make you a Christian if you commit crimes when you go outside. A true Bitcoiner is someone who, most importantly, uses Bitcoin for buying things, who prioritises Bitcoin over cash and fiat.
Btw I have to admit that despite the fact that I've always advocating against holding and was always supporting massive Bitcoin usage for making transactions, today I think that holding and hodling matter a lot because governments, banks and other corporations want to collect as many Bitcoins as possible and we shouldn't help them succeed in this plan.

But I want to know, is this concept Satoshi's and did he say these things? Just people who spend bitcoin, use it to shop, and prefer it over fiat money, that person is called a bitconer. Or is this just a concept of a group of people who consider bitcoin as a religion?

Bitcoin represents freedom, no one can control it including its creator and Satoshi has no requirement or force people to use bitcoin in one way or another. Why do we make it difficult for each other by coming up with our own concepts and imposing them on others when we are not the ones who created bitcoin?

Using Bitcoin for transactions is like using fiat currency, that's what Bitcoin is. But there is nothing wrong with those who only have Bitcoin as an investment asset.
It doesn't matter to me if I'm just considered an owner, not a user or a bitcoiner, because basically I personally can only be an owner, not a user, because I can't use Bitcoin other than holding and using Bitcoin as an investment.

I think that we don't need to make it any more complicated than it seems. If someone already understands Bitcoin and he fully supports the idea, I think they are worthy enough to be called Bitcoiners. Because "Bitcoiner" is just a term created by people, and there is no specific explanation as to whether a person deserves to be called that when he meets one criterion. So this is not that important to discuss actually because because the meaning of the word depends entirely on how the community chooses to use it.

Those who joined Bitcoin are Bitcoiners because they will search for how to use Bitcoin, how they can keep Bitcoin, and how they can earn more Bitcoin. The users are also Bitcoiners. Holding bitcoin isn't as easy as make it look. To me I would gladly call anyone that have a bitcoin holdings or portfolio a bitcoiner. Tell me, how many actually are using bitcoin here as a currency? I believe majority here are just buying and hodling bitcoin until the desire profits will be achieved. Bitcoin as a currency may be Satohi's original goal, but why do we have to spend them when we can make massive amount of profits by investing on them. That is why your basis of being a bitcoiner is not a valid point, whether you chose to buy, sell or spend it, as long as you are a bitcoin enthusiast and you are an active bitcoin buyer or hodler, that alone   create your identity as a bitcoiner. There's no rule to bitcoin. Bitcoin is freedom from government control and banks interfering our money movement.
Although it was created to make peer to peer transfers, it still holds a significant value as an asset.
So I still believe that anybody who is holding bitcoin is a bitcoiner as long as he believes in the idea of bitcoin i.e. to manage our own money in our own way.

It's not about holding alone, we have to know why we are taking any step in action, because some are holding for their profits, while some are selling to take their own profits, some are still there well positioned for buying, just as the market has remained ever volatile, we should be able to understand why we are taking any decisions that such should be on our own interests and not losses on what we have invested or wanted to invest.

I spent and hold Bitcoin, does this makes me a bitcoiner? Like who cares? Why should we want to feel among so that someone like you can see us as a bitcoiner? The first rule of holding Bitcoin is keeping it a secret, no one should know that you have some Bitcoin. So how you even going to tell that someone just spent bitcoin on coffee yesterday or they moved their Bitcoin into a address that belongs to the Bank?

Let people be, this is no a cult movement, it is more like freedom movement, people should be free to do whatever they want with their Bitcoin, is Bitcoiner even a thing or a made up nonsense? You don't have to spend if you don't want to.

If buying and holding bitcoin doesn’t make you a bitcoiners, what else makes you a bitcoiner, because when you are buying and holding bitcoin that is what really shows that you are a holder of bitcoin, and when you mostly buy bitcoin on a regular and consistent basis, I have been buying bitcoin for 4 years now and holding bitcoin have been my priority and my most valuable assets that I have right now, buying bitcoin equivalently makes you and investor and Bitcoin is an investment, and everyone can’t afford to participate as a Bitcoin holder in different ways because everyone doesn’t have opportunities for that, and some folks are from different countries where Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are illegal.

There are many countries where Bitcoin is not legalised that's why people can't use it for daily transactions. The best such people can do with Bitcoin is to buy it and then store it for longer duration. As far as Bitcoin issue of scalability is concerned, there are Layer 2 solutions like Lightning Network available that solves the Bitcoin problem of scalability and is beneficial for people living in regions where Bitcoin is legalised. So you can use Bitcoin for daily transactions only if it's legalised in your country and there are not many such countries so far that have legalised Bitcoin use.

In my opinion, Bitcoin's main value is its decentralization. Bitcoin's decentralization consists of three components: decentralized mining, decentralized mining, and decentralized storage.

I don't mine Bitcoin because, given the current hashrate, only large industrial enterprises can do so. I'm talking about enterprises with access to cheap electricity and a large number of modern ASIC miners.

I'm also not a Bitcoin developer (I lack the intelligence and technical knowledge for such work 🤷).

However, I do store some satoshi, and I do so in a decentralized manner (using cold wallets). Thus, I contribute to Bitcoin's development to a certain extent...

I also actively participate in at least two cryptocurrency forums. So, to a certain extent, I could be considered a Bitcoin evangelist.  I'm telling newbies (meaning people who know less about it than I do) about the world's first cryptocurrency. 💫 That's how I contribute to the greater good. 🙂
