If there is no more excitement, you will keep chasing that feeling until you are left with nothing which is very dangerous. Even gamblers who continue to play still get excited with the prospect of winning. But if you are no longer excited, you might already be feeling depressed from gambling.

Well thats just a common characteristic of gamblers, is either they accept defeat and quit for the day and come back tomorrow, or keep Gambling hoping to make something out of nothing  . For me I always deposit the amount I wish to bet for the day, if It happens that I have exhausted it, I will stop for the day but if I haven't exhausted it, I will keep on betting wether I win or not. I think what you described is what I called the "gambler's cycle". The problem with this kind of mentality focuses on the mindset of the gambler every time they visit a casino. I do submit that whenever you are down on your bets putting you in a position where it could either make or break your finances, it is recommended to stop and call it a day.

If you keep on persisting that your next bet would be a huge win or would recover your overall losses, then you've fallen to this endless cycle. The only way to break it is to stop and accept the fact that you will never recover your losses through this process.

At such a situation, I am already self conscious that it's time to take a break because I can not afford to zero my account if really I never intended to spend all the deposit I made. The only time I will go reckless without minding whether all my balance is burned or not is only if I have specifically dedicated the amount for just gambling at that time and I would just want to keep gambling to see if a win is going to come before my balance can turn to zero. If I am not intentional about it, then am not zeroing my account just to catch a win.

No one would like to experience the consecutive losses that you've seen your money taken down through out the game from a large capital you ended up losing the money you had, and if you think there's no excitement at all and you are just seeing the vision of lossing more your money i guess its the game time to take a break in playing gambling we don't need to hurry much to play the game instead seek for a short analyzation its worth it to play anymore?, its still good to stick to the game if you've seen you are not earning anymore?. What I try to do is set aside funds from my monthly gambling budget for the day I gamble, and if it turns out that I have lost that fund in one go, I will take a break from gambling for that day, play a little, and then gamble again on the following days.

This is basically my current gambling strategy for loss control, because I think chasing big funds or losses is a sign of not being able to control our emotions, and that's a big sign of losing at gambling.

To tell the truth, when I go gambling and I lose a lot more than my deposit amount, and at that time, if my excitement is over, I place big bets on the remaining amount so that it is lost or the losses are recovered. Although it is an emotional thing, I still give priority to my emotions at that time. I think that I can afford to lose the amount I have deposited. when you have already made your plans that you are going to do one or two things with the money you hope to win from a game and at the end, it happens that things goes south and instead of winning, you start losing more, the approach of gambling automatically changes with you now hoping to gamble to recover your loss rather than just doing it for fun. the goal is to always end your games with more wins than losses and anything that causes the reverse to be the case such that you start to loose more than you are winning, at that moment, it is your emotion that will be gambling and no longer the real you.

If the excitement is gone while playing, that's a sign you should stop. We play for the fun and the possibility of making money; if either of these no longer exists while playing, it becomes boring, and you are not a robot to continue.

I log out if the game becomes boring. It's just a waste of time to continue when you can continue at another time, where you have the excitement to play again. You don't have to force yourself to continue playing; it's just a waste of time and energy when there are other essential things to do.

I have a limit, I deposit the same exact amount to my casino of preference every single month, been doing that for ten years now, in fact, even after inflation, I still didn't increased it, kept it at the same amount of money, these days it's nothing.

I'm the kind of gambler who always follows the path of discipline. I only play with amounts of money that I can afford to lose. When I put money in my bankroll, I only put in amounts that I know even if I lose it won't give me a headache. After that, I follow a strict management plan in which I bet on a few simple games. I always bet in units, not percentages. For example, if I have a $10 bankroll, I would put $1 in each game. Only after the game is over would I place another bet. I have that experience when the excitement is gone. But I don't keep playing instead just stop and walk away from the casino. I don't think that continuing gambling will give me more excitement because that excitement is gone with my losses. We went through that phase but not many people accept the loss so we should remember that gambling can give us a win or a loss.

I think I am one of the gamblers who stop and walk away with what's left. I never think of recovering the losses because I know that it will not be easy. If I keep playing, I can lose more than I can afford. So it is better for me to leave and forget the losses by calming down.
