When you’re already down big, do you still keep playing or just stop?

This couldn't have been said anything better because I've personally experienced this. Continuing to fire on all cylinders will only make the losing streak more worse and inflict more pain. This applies to almost all industries. Sometimes the best solution is to do nothing and take a rest. One could even use the opportunity to engage more with their family and friends. More often time not, resting and taking a break to go back to the drawing board id the best option.

The problem with having this mindset is that it shows that you're not ready for gambling but you're forcing yourself to gamble.

True, no gambler wants to lose but we can't be naive and think that by continuing to gamble we will be able to win after losing the previous round.
Many gamblers have the wrong perspective that in the end they lose everything because they are too impulsive in their gambling. They lose in the previous round but believe that the next round will be an advantage for them which makes this condition change where emotions and ambition make our level of rationality decrease and try to do things that we should not do.

Before, I don't top gambling until there's nothing left to bet. Those are the times where losses are real big, until I realized gambling shouldn't be like this. When I go down a lot I losses my initial budget along with the earning money in this stage I usually stop gambling and I usually do not play anymore until I re-arrange more funds and it usually take more than six months and it may take 6 months even more than 6 months and even it may take me several years to restart gambling.

If the remaining betting money is the amount you originally budgeted, I think there’s no problem using it all to try your luck on other games, including placing parlays on football matches. You already know and addicted gambler when you are down you still continue because you want to either out win the casinos or to recover from what they have lost there by causing themselves more losses in the process, the best thing to do to avoid making such mistakes is to set your budget and have the discipline to understand when you are to stop gambling when you are winning and when you are down big.
