The world we live in is evolving and changing fast. more people are earning income from their phones and laptops like never before. We all experienced COVID and saw how it affected the economy. Yes companies had to close but few stood their ground due to the fact that they had online workers who could attend to we the buyers/consumers without being in an office.
People are now acuring skills such as coding, free lancing, web development, programming and many more. Not just because their sick and tired of office work but because technology has made it possible for anyone to work anywhere, some even anytime. and earn without stepping into an office.


But my question remains. Are online jobs the future of global employment, or you see it as a phase just passing by.

That has become the current trend since the 2020 economic crisis caused by the Corona virus pandemic, online job saw a new boom, and gradually it's becoming the new normal but that does not actually take a way the physical jobs, but most businesses has gone online in the past 5 years and gained online presence unlike what we used to have before but now it seems it's dominanting, though many people are seeking online job now than ever.

Online job is definitely the future of global employment and it has really helped a lot of people to be self employed. It's true that some jobs still needs an office we're clients works in and be attended too, but online job job help solve a lot of problems without the client having to get the office.
Online job will always is here to stay as long as the internet still exists, which I don't think the internet is going anywhere soon, so it's very possible that in the near future most people will be working from home, as long as technology keeps improving.

Young people today indeed prefer to work online, without having to interact too much with other people and without being tied to strict rules. In the future, as technology continues to develop and is adopted in various fields of work, online jobs may become the most popular and the dream of many. In developed countries, this is nothing new, they are even already working with the involvement of AI.

Some people who have regular jobs and must go to the office can also work online as a side job, allowing them to have more than one source of income. I think we have become highly dependent on the Internet, and only in the event of a natural disaster would access to the internet be disrupted.

There are some jobs need physical attendance and the few I can mention from my end is, customs (boarder) clearance, Teaching, Transportation section, Road Workers (Construction companies) and few to mention. We have to remember one thing that all of us have different sources of income. Some are freelancing online and many are running small food cart shops on the streets. However, the number of people who are currently moving towards freelancing seems to indicate that everyone will be dependent on freelancing. However, very few people can learn freelancing and earn money from it.

Covid really opened our eyes to lots of things. I specifically knew that the way forward is online. I live in a country where the major jobs that are recognised are jobs with physical settings. But since covid 19 incident, alot changed. No one wants to be taken unawares anymore. Yes, as time goes by, more and more people are starting to focus on online work and the demand for online work is increasing in large numbers. The reason for this is that people are gradually becoming more technologically advanced and they need to do a lot of work virtually and as a backup for them, they are hiring remote workers from different countries. And as time goes by, the amount will increase. So it can be said that online jobs will be a big employment of the future. And this will improve the economic condition of many poor countries. Because they will be able to do different types of work for developing countries from their own country.

Why I said this is because in a society filled with people 50% of them are old people, 30% of them are young people who are exposed to the digital world and the remaining 20% have no idea of how the digital world works because they are devoted to their daily work. Some don't like socializing in the real world, but online makes them feel alive and perhaps even earns an income. No, it definitely won't be on a global scale. Why? Do you need to eat, or do you live on air? Do you need clothes, or will you go without them? Can you walk several kilometers to and from work every day, or will you need transportation? And these are very large sectors of the economy, employing a huge number of people all over the planet. To be honest, I don't really see any problems with working online. I don't quite understand why businesses aren't switching to this format en masse.

But everything else can easily be transferred online. The online work sector is gradually growing, currently the market cap of online work is 7.65 billion dollars and it is estimated that this market cap will reach 14-17 billion dollars by 2030. So online jobs will increase employment a lot in the future and reduce unemployment worldwide. Those who have good skills will get a lot of opportunities here to earn a lot of money and it will give more benefits than their physical jobs.

It's reality before the covid world not fully aware of the importance of digital business. Many skilled people struggled to secure good job in good companies because of high transportation cost and geographical barriers. However this digital era basically provide the opportunities without considering the border barriers through the remote work. yes it is true to say that online working provide a bridge between talented individual and employer across the globe. both companies and employee are well trained and fully aware of their market values. No one can easily be underpaid to them. now individual can choose their own career on high salary. And it also helps the companies to adjust their budgeting for operation because they can save from the operating expenses starting from rent of the office, to equipment, computers and other utilities that they need to provide for their workers if it's an onsite required job. But it's up to them if those expenses will be reverted into provision of computer equipment to their remote workers although I am sure that whoever is wanting to work remotely, they have their own workspace and equipment and that's another savings for the company.
