The desire to get more rich is endless, most especially if you come from a poor family. Living a life wherein you have been deprived of all the good things in life makes you even more greedy to achieve something and get rich in the process. That is proven as there are a lot of rich people these days that have been proud of their poor origin. But maybe once they have achieved all their dreams and goals in life, they will start taking life slowly especially if they are already in their retirement age.

However, there are still rich people who aim to get even richer, probably these are the people who are highly greedy in life, which is not good at all.

Because the higher their income the higher their needs and desires. This is a natural human phenomenon. One day they buy a motorcycle the next day they want a car, and so on.

So, to overcome this we must have a mindset: life isn't about possessions but about awareness. When we possess everything without awareness we will always lack, and conversely when we have little but realize its value we will live in endless wealth. Sometimes peace doesn't belong to those who have everything, but to those who are grateful for what we have.

Earning a salary of $100 is a joy in itself when they first start working, and they are very grateful for it. As time goes by, as their needs increase, they realize that their income is no longer sufficient due to circumstances.

The quest for more to meet these needs doesn't mean earning $100; aiming for $1,000 is suicide. The number $1,000 comes through a process, unless they gamble with their salary, and even then, if they win, or if they lose, they're in debt and playing hard. Well, ...

Human needs are insatiable and the desire to remain constant in our financial life is the main reasons for a weak tomorrow and indirect cause of failure.  In as much as life itself is consign our daily responsibilities or challenges will never stop increasing know matter the circumstances  attached, so in other to meet up to the desired challenges of life we will be faced with know option than to hunger for more even if we already have little. Wanting more has a broad and complex meaning. Sometimes, it means having enough and not exceeding one's capabilities. So, it's perfectly natural for someone who feels inadequate to seek additional alternatives without pushing themselves beyond their limits and expectations, unless they've already started that path before earning $100.

Perhaps this is only true for old people like our grandparents. People who do not need to nurture and care for anyone, and they themselves do not need too many basic needs at that age. But for those of us who are working age and have families to care for. Saying that money is not important and not everything sounds completely unrealistic and misleading.

I think it's best to face it now by understanding how the world works and collaborating, because struggle is about personal evolution with others and the benefits of sharing. Human greed is in nature but contentment is the key to it. There is an need to human's desire when they live comfortably already and they don't want to work all the days of their lives. That's why if someone is working hard to have a decent life, their desires are also going to increase once they have achieved the goals that they have set. So, it depends on the person if they have achieved their goals and they want to live simply yet comfortably with their lives. And that desire will stop there when they see that they are living better than the others.

There is a saying that "there's not enough money to satisfy a person." Basically, because the higher your income is, the higher your expenditure as well. When you have so little, you will normally buy regular brands, regular foods, and anything that is under the scope of your salary range.
Now, when you start earning more, you will start to crave things that are above the regular, and then it goes on and on as you continue to increase your income. This is the reason why luxuries are created, because people have no satisfaction and are forever discontented.
Rich people are so obsessed with more money, and that's what makes them that mentality. The majority have been wishing to become rich, but most of us are not obsessed, and that's what separate us from very wealthy people.

Reality is, if we are seeing chances that could give us a big break, we eventually rush to get it. Inasmuch as having money is important and a necessity, having a purpose I believe is more valuable, because some people have been chasing money all their lives, some make a little, some make just about enough to feed themselves and pay up a few bills, and some actually become rich, some through legal means and others illegal. Money gives freedom and comfort. Money makes life easier. It's normal for everyone to want more money. Some people call it greed, but I think that there are nuances. I've never understood the millionaires, who want to become billionaires or the billionaires, who want to become as rich as Elon Musk or Zuckerberg. This is pure greed. A person, who is extremely rich and can live a luxurious life never having to work for a way until the end of his life would want to make even more money? Those people are trying to fill the void inside them with money, but it doesn't work.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to earn 1000 USD per month, when you earn 100 per month(which is quite low in most countries around the world).

It's common knowledge that everyone needs three times more money than they earn. And the actual salary doesn't matter (it still needs to be multiplied by 3). 🙂

Why does this happen? It's important to understand that employers typically pay their employees just enough to cover their current needs (mortgage, food, clothing, transportation, and so on). In the worst-case scenario, employers pay employees so little that they can't fully cover their current needs. And that's a very bad scenario... 🤷

But while trying to earn more, we start ignoring some important things. Like our family, like doing sports, like reading. I think at some point we should be able to say enough...
