You know what's richness to me? It's not some particular amount, it's just having money when the situation demands it and so far I am grateful that I have always had money when I needed it. Though, I must say, I keep my needs low, so I don't have to toil for 'em much either, so it could be playing it's part.

I don't consider myself that type, but I know many people around me and among my relatives who are like that, they always want more as they acquire more. This is human nature in many people. The more they have, the more they want.

Perhaps some justify this by saying that the demands of life are constantly increasing, and also due to inflation and rising prices. Perhaps this is true, but I think the main reason is their inherent tendency toward greed, dissatisfaction, and a desire for wealth. Although, I believe that even if they become rich, they will never be satisfied.

Is it common among all or are three people who are content and satisfied with their monthly salary ? I mean when. Person is earning like $100 per month , he wants $1000 per month. Now when he starts earning $1000 per month, the next aim becomes more higher . Is there an end to this ?
As human income increases, so do desires. Let me give an example, a person earning a low income drives an average car. As his income increases, he may buy a new car and a new house, and his lifestyle changes. The people he associated with were not rich, but now he finds himself in the company of wealthy individuals. As he steps up in life, his needs and desires also escalate.

In short, human nature is never satisfied at any level. The more one acquires, the more one's desires increase. If you were to give him this planet, he would start striving for other planets, and it never ends until he dies.

A rich person is just a collector.

Real riches are different. The goal is to gather health, happiness and a full life.
But if it makes them happy to collect more money, than let them follow their passion.

There is nothing wrong with that.

In my opinion, the key lies in gratitude. Many people push themselves to work too hard and sometimes even neglect their health, when in fact health is far more valuable than money. Having multiple sources of income is certainly everyone dream, but if expenses are not kept in balance, it will still be difficult to become wealthy or reach financial freedom. We need to be smart in managing our finances, placing essential needs as the main priority. Logically, it is normal for everyone to want a higher income over time, but it doesn’t have to be forced. Sometimes we may need to look in a different direction and realize that we might be far more fortunate than others when it comes to finances.

Gratitude is always needed so we can enjoy what we have achieved. Without gratitude, it's difficult for anyone to enjoy what they have. For some people who work hard and neglect their health, they will regret it when they fall ill and have to spend more money on medical treatment.

What you said is very true. Financial management is certainly very important. No matter how much income we have, if we don't manage it well, we will end up spending it on unimportant things. Looking at things differently can certainly help us be more grateful for what we have.

Human needs are insatiable, the more your income increases, the more your wants and desire increases. For instance if you were earning like $100 and you were only feeding and clothing yourself and maybe paying children school fees, if your salary suddenly climbs to $500 and above, you would want to esterblish a business and your responsibilities and number of dependants will also increase.

Everyone is afraid of facing financial relapse, so the more you have money, the more you would love to have more money. Gaining financial stability is what everyone wants and your financial progress is only limited to the level of income that you earn

I think there are still people who are already contented of the amount of their salary but these people might already be in their executive positions, or they might be close to retirement. But if you are still working as a minimum wage earner, its always certain to ask for a bigger income or add another side jobs so that there will be more additional income.

The desire to get more rich is always there, but not everyone is capable to make it happen. While some are definitely hard working and we can say that they deserved to get rich in the future, others are just lazy and doing nothing that could lead to their progress. And when life's get tough at its utmost, that's when they start blaming the government why they stay poor while others are already living in progress.

I also don't see myself like that, but if there are opportunities in front of me, why not? The thing is, the desire to get more rich for human beings is already given. No one wants to refuse any on hand opportunity.  But let's be honest, getting rich isn't that easy, except if you take some shortcuts that could make you instantly rich, but most of them could be labeled as illegals, as that is mostly the case. People get rich quickly not because they are hard working and patient, but reality today proves that those we find getting instant wealth are usually involved on government illegalities.

That is humans for you. Most folks cannot be fully satisfied. The more wealth that is attained, the more they find themselves pursuing more. But then this is this always supposed to be so? Well humans we are meant to be able to control their wants and always stay satisfied with what you have no matter how little may be looking now. The inability to controlling their wants and desire has made so many folks engage in illicit activities for example the cases of kidnapping, theft, cheating, etc that are prevalent now arre mostly as a result of folks not being able to be satisfied with what they presently have. They always keep wanting more, which shouldn't always be the case.

That is financial security. Your finances are secured, no matter what life throws you. I'm also aiming for that, that somehow even if there is no huge amount of savings, but the fact that you don't run out of money any time you need it, that still makes you rich in life. Richness has various forms, you could be rich in your investments, or you could be rich already even in a small amount as long as you don't compromised living your life.

The desire to get more riches in life is man's nature. But we should learn at some point, that contentment is not just all about money making, sometimes its more on living at peace without daily hassles.

Human needs are not always fixed in a fixed place. Time and circumstances change them or they are forced to change. For example since I have been working for money and my salary has increased every year my financial condition has not improved due to the effect of inflation. At that time, when I was getting a salary of $500, I thought that if my salary was $600, I would be able to live better but next year with the increase in salary the demand increased along with inflation. I mean if I was getting a salary of $1000 at that time my standard of living would be adjusted accordingly and I would expect a further increase in salary. I think that there is no limit to human needs.
Discussing human needs, you're certainly right, as you say, they aren't always constant. As time goes by, our needs will increase, especially if income increases. Whatever your salary is, it's based on your ability, so you must be able to manage it well and manage your finances well to avoid unnecessary expenses. And the desire to become richer or more developed is certainly everyone's desire, and everyone will do their own way to achieve it. However, becoming rich isn't easy because some people tend to accept their fate and live life according to what happens.

I think about it this way, if we earn, for example, $100 a month and spend $80 on necessities, why do we spend $160 a month when our income is $200?

This is a common feeling for many people, including me. I often discuss this with my friends, and they feel the same way. Shouldn't we have $120 we could save? It's both funny and disappointing, because why should we spend more when our income is higher? This is a mistake I made a few years ago, which led to me having no savings.

Think about it this way, when it was $100 there was no space for investment because all the time you receive it is always $20 you have as the balance but when it as become $200, those business and investment you have been planning will start taking it form, not that the person will not be using the previous $80 from before but the reason it will increase and add another $80 that makes up the $160 could be used for buying business products it can afford till it gradually became completed for the business opening, so actually this could be the reason for someone to increase there spending level in that manner.

I don't really care about the difference between riches and wealth but what I know and want to talk about is that for people to be rich, they have to pay a sacrifice which can be in form of hard work or smart work. They must have a skill or something that have invested in that will help them to get to the stage where they can be seen as rich or wealthy people. Riches does not come to us in a day, it is a gradual process of building wealth and people that want to join this league must be ready to pay a price for their comfort of being rich.

Setting a target stops all these and also knowing when to stop chasing and chasing is skillful of them all.

I don't want to be more rich. What I would want is food security and financial freedom. To break it further,  food, freedom, equality, shelter, justice, Longevity, happiness, love and peace are simply all I want right now. This is the the real wealth. Lastly,  wife to keep me warm and bare me children.

There's always an unsatisfying desires that's why the rich still hungs for more riches and wealth in addition to what they have, no matter what humans needs and wants would always be that and irs basically common among person's rich or poor. But all of this are supposed to get to a halt provided you've acquired some weakth that's meant to cater for your needs as well as reaching out to others close to you. The desires to get more richer with the ones acquired us a sign of greed and lack of contentment.

Allocating more money to savings and investments can be a reason for us to manage our finances well, so that spending can be controlled due to limits.

However I believe that every human being has greater desires, so it's natural that the more income we receive, the greater our needs, This is due to increasing desires and I believe this is still within the normal range, but we should also set aside some for savings and investments.

So what should be done is to allocate for the most important things first, basic needs, savings and investments, and then we can fulfill all our other desires.

You know what's richness to me? It's not some particular amount, it's just having money when the situation demands it and so far I am grateful that I have always had money when I needed it. Though, I must say, I keep my needs low, so I don't have to toil for 'em much either, so it could be playing it's part.
I have seen many times when people try to demonstrate a luxurious lifestyle. They have expensive rented housing, they have expensive cars from the showroom that they buy on credit, they go to expensive gyms and to restaurants. But they are only one or two unhappy months without work or without income away from bankruptcy. So for me wealth and the attempt to look wealthy are two different things. Wealth means having capital that allows you to receive passive income from which you can live comfortably, and not worry that you might lose your job, or any of your other sources of income.
