Btw, is there a way to see how many points certain player that I didn't have in the team got in previous rounds? I know how to see other play points in this round, but I'm not sure how to check previous rounds.

It also updates in real time which was very useful in past season. This is the first one where Official FPL also updates in real time with bonus and defcon.

How was this not an offside for Haaland and  Enzo?? In the next few frames Enzo who clearly is in an offside position made an attempt to head the ball which actually pulled the Butchers attention to man mark him and attempt was unsuccessful and ball went on to find Haaland the robot 🤖 who converted without hesitation .

After this bad officiating,  am convinced that these Var guys do play fantasy football and most likely had Citeh assets.

The VAR and ref admitted it was a mistake to reward the goal and have apologized to Manchester United but that's the bullshit we see everytime; if you admitted it was truly a mistake why not withdraw the points and score the game 0-0 ?

I did read this, but my small brain somehow understood that we can pick 3 players only from City and United. Therefore I don't have Joao Pedro, which is a masterclass decision.
Naturally, this puts me in last place for this GW - which will hurt both my chances to win something from the event and drop me towards the middle of the overall standings.

Still early - but this was a tough week in both Fantasy modes.

Manchester United might say the same thing: it is difficult to reverse an illegitimate awarded goal, but the ones detected earlier while the GW is still in progress should be overturned to 0-0, giving both clubs no goal advantage, only points imo.

The use of VAR in these kind of situations is stupid. To me it's OK for VAR to intervene when there is a clear error made by a referee. For example, is a goal is scored by a player in a clear offside position, then for me it's OK for VAR to intervene. But when it comes to calls that are made out of ref's judgement (like this situation was), then VAR should only be able to call the ref to check the video and then decide. VAR shouldn't be able to overturn a ref's decision in situations that are not "black-and-white".

Oh man... After disaster in the BSFL, it looks like I'll have another disaster here. I have three City players and Foden just got sent off. I just can't catch a break this week

Picked probably the three best City players to have (Donna, Gvardiol, Haaland) actually but luckily packed midfield with shitty United boys who all got minimum points.

Didn't really have much of a choice; unlike dumbass cryptofrka, had forgot to put my picks and with 2 matches left it was either City/United or Newcastle/Leeds. I thought the bonus from shitty United players was better than gambling on Leeds/Castle. Can't be too upset with my picks really!

Congrats to this week's winners! I thought that I would be a part of that, but simply put, Palmer didn't deliver as I expected him to. 77 points is okay, but not even close to the podium. Also, the event prizes are getting more and more distant for me. Shame, I had big plans, but it all backfired.

I was also happy with getting 71 points, but again I finished the round in the middle of the table. I'm not sure what to do anymore. It looks like last season was much easier to get near the top. I remember winning one or two rewards and this season I'm constantly in the middle of the table. If I play it safe, there is always someone who gets lucky with some player. Then if I try to risk it with a player or two, I get 2-3 points. I will have to change something for the next rounds.

When Guéhi got me only 12 points in the last round, I looked at City defenders on the Trofo's website. Gvardiol was the best one to pick among all of them in all previous rounds. Not sure if he is the right man to pick for the current challenge though. I think that he is much better offensively than as a defender so I'll probably go with someone else.

By the way, this last site I posted, I never envisioned anyone looking trough past GWs there. You have all that info inside official client much easier to access. I am using it to grade competitions like this one before results are public and updated in the official app.

I've been wondering about this will the next GW (6-10) have some sort of 'event' or point boost just like GW1-5? or will it be like regular fantasy ? First time playing FPL challenge though

Point boosts aren't given for the whole event (for example GW 6-10), but for each individual gameweek. When picking your players for a certain gameweek, make sure to pay attention to the "game challenge" (it's shown near the top of the page).

I tried playing a regular fantasy, but it's much harder than this FPL challenge. You need to pay attention to much more details. That's why I like this much more. But for die-hard fantasy players, real fantasy is still the real deal, while this is just something to have fun.

Heh, the following one is fun. No players have dominated DEFCON categories so far but there are a few that are worth a punt.
10 points is huge - I'm captaining a player I never thought I would.

As expected, no forwards are even remotely close to DEFCON points. Don't try to be smart, just go with Haaland

Not that I'm a huge fan of Fantasy (I actually like it but because it's a contest with you assholes I'm losng my joy). Still. Fun to have this alongside, if/when I remember!

A lot players on my radar for DEFCON are either not super consistent, have an even match or are the slight favorite, and I think favorite centre backs don't do to well with DEFCONs compared to when they're the underdogs, while for defense midfielders it is usually the other way round.

Haaland is surely locked for the FWD spot, elsewhere is where the tinkering lies, I really know yet if I'm going to be favoring a 3 DEF, 3 MF, or split it 2, 2 but regardless of my decision, I'm sure there are about 2 players that wouldn't be missing out and for this one, I could care less about their goal or assist potential.

There is enough problem to worry about with the choice, putting a budget limit on it would just make the selection pretty much template and now wide range, currently there are weeks  where you can easily opt against bonus by going for the best players, but with a budget, it's going to be completely tilted towards just the bonus, and if the prices are adjusted according to the bonus for instance players with higher defcon potential costing more this week, it might be too much work for a one week period with almost not results since people would go for the cheaper choices without the bonus potential but higher native FPL points predicted.
