This is the worst thing any man could do out there because gambling is not a guaranteed game where they would be earning certain amount at every end of the day/week or even month. Whenever they don't have fund they shouldn't go borrowing money to gambling where they would end up putting themselves into debt, and this is a bad behavior which could likely put him under pressure on how to get those debt cleared couples with how he could be fighting with his addiction as well.

They know what to do and yet, they pushed thru their luck. Gamblers know the right and wrong and yet, most of them are stubborn and alter their lifestyle. Just like any other habit, a person would have difficulty forgetting his habit because it is already like his way of life. So it is their own desire and should suffer the consequences they brought to themselves. They need to learn a lesson before they will change their habits. It is them that are responsible for themselves, no one else will look after their welfare. And so they need to have lifestyle check every once in a while.

It is very natural that once those who have entered into gambling, they no longer calculate the risks or limits, they do not have the mentality to think properly, they are losing so much but they do not think about it in any way, basically they continue to gamble blindly. They do not calculate any losses, as a result they gradually destroy their savings, wealth, and even family stability at one stage. I don’t have a goal like that. I can stop gambling and then come back at another time. But I don’t have an achievement that would make me quit gambling. I enjoy the games and the bets I make. Because gambling doesn’t trouble me financially or take up my time.
You can see that there are people who might be old but still gamble. I guess it’s not that these older people have never had a big win. But rather, gambling gives a certain thrill, more than just risking money to win or lose.

As of now I did not consider stop playing gambling because most of the signatures right here we promote are into casino so it's part of us to participate with their platform, well just my cents.
Back on it I guess if ever I manage to losses alot more than I had such as it's affect to the people around me about too much playing gambling I have a self awareness with my gambling habit and I know my limit when I play I didn't lose all of my money in just a single sit of the game so if I see already it's not healthy to my part that's the time I take a break and decide to stop playing gambling for a while to check if I'm still good on it or not

My breaking point in gambling is when I noticed that the pattern of the game I am playing is unreasonable.  Like the feeling of a loop in a pattern where the game gives us almost the same scene after certain buys, and the result and the pattern of the spin are almost identical.  When the randomness of the game seems to be omitted and the result of every buy is very unfavorable.

Here's the reasons why I asked the above question;
I have a colleague that is has been into dept for the past 6 months because of debts accrued due to gambling.  At the end of the month he pays debts from his little salary so he ends up owing colleagues to just manage by till the month ends . And he complains bitterly of how he has been paying this depth for over these months and how it has even mentally affected him which inturn is affecting his performance at work as well.
At this point my only advice to him is to stop anything gambling when he is finally out of this depth because he is at his breaking point already. So what is your take on this issues?

You advice is sounds, I hope your friend listen to you.  There is no point in engaging in gambling when all it brings is financial ruins.  We gamble to have fun, not to bury ourselves in debt.

I agree with you, sometimes we need a trusted person who can say "it's time to stop". It's better to be temporarily ashamed for admitting defeat in gambling than to lose everything in the future. We know that every gambler essentially chooses to prioritize their family and reject any kind of disruption that makes their family unhappy. However, along the way, a gambler often struggles to control themselves, which ultimately leads them to act beyond their limits. Make gambling just for entertainment, try not to sacrifice your family just for temporary pleasure.

The worst part about addiction is that, even if you wanna care or prioritize your family over that temporary pleasure, it’s still not possible because at that point you can no longer control yourself or uour emotions, even if you’ve repeatedly told yourself that you’re not going back to gambling anymore, maybe because you’ve seen how much damage it’s doing to your relationship with your family, even if you’ve seen manage to stay away for a while, you just won’t understand the force that’ll still pull back into gambling and making a mess of yourself.

If gambling addiction occurs, the family of the person who is addicted to gambling understands very well how annoying a gambling addict can be. If a person goes beyond their means and gambles and spends more money than they have on gambling, then that person will face debt. And that person is addicted to gambling because he is not in control of his situation, so that person must stop gambling. But for others, when a gambler loses a lot maybe for a consecutive periods of 6 months and above without winning at all, such player gets tired and find the nearest quit option, maybe may start again after a long time of quitting as the case may be.

Some gamblers don't get patient to wait for such long time of about 6 months before they give it a break upon experiencing a long streaks of losses. Whereas there are those that wouldn't mind continuing a regardless of the losses they just have this conviction that they could recover along the way and if they have to do it as long as it takes then it's fine. Because once those who become addicted to gambling, if they are constantly financially damaged, they do not take a break from gambling even after this damage. Basically, gambling addiction is an addiction from which a person cannot get out of the addiction despite his desire. There are thousands of gambling addicts who are constantly losing money by gambling and are still suffering, but they do not take a break for six months or a year. Gambling for fun is okay, but gambling for fun turns into gambling addiction at some point, which is very dangerous. A person with a gambling addiction understands very well how dangerous he is for his family.

The day when i go over my budget, or break my own rules otherwise. Then i either quit or take a step back and have a long break when i reflect on myself and ask myself what went wrong.

Because my own set of rules and my budget are the ones that preventing me to have debt on gambling and playing too much in the first place. If i am paying back gambling debts or not having enough of sleep because of gambling, then i have already stepped over my boundaries long time ago, and that's not an optimal time to fix anything. I need to fix my habits before they get out of hand and lead to me spiraling.

A breaking point in gambling is not really a fixed amount of money, its the moment gambling starts costing more than money, at the point where it begins to take away your peace of mind. From everything you described, your friend has already crossed that point and its very unfortunately cause the experience is a terrible one.

So should he continue gambling? No, he should stop immediately and not "after he clears the debt". Waiting to stop after paying off gambling debt is one of the biggest traps most gamblers fall into, obviously the same habit that created the debt is unlikely the solution. When you try to "win back", your losses usually double down.

It seems like cases like this are rare, and perhaps even unheard of. However, in my experience, they didn't pay out my big win and locked my account. It's clear I was scammed by a bad casino. But it's a different story with players who are restricted for big wins. And with VIPs, you're right, they shouldn't get too many benefits. I think VIP in this case refers to different levels of quality, such as service, and the games themselves don't seem to make any difference.
