I think people might be uncertain about the requirements. The first time they did the contest, I assumed you needed to complete the swap for your entry to count. It wasn’t until I read through the comments that I found out it wasn’t necessary.
I guess that's possible. I feel like it's quite common to see people misread things or not read them at all. Not sure if it's just a biased experience of mine or what. I'd assume people who actually use a service like this are quite meticulous, at least when it comes to new services. I guess that's why scammers still carry out phishing attacks nowadays, since some people just aren't careful enough.
I also confess that, even with X slots available for the raffle, I end up not choosing a slot for N reasons or I leave it for later and end up forgetting  Tongue even though there are several raffles from other brands.

This is a good thing, because before all the slots would be empty in a few hours, now they remain available for days, giving more interested people a chance to participate.

Regarding phishing, unfortunately it's true, there are still people making money dishonestly by deceiving people who are too naive or inattentive.

2 months of successfully rejecting DDoS attacks is a really good result and an indication that the SageSwap team knows what they are doing and that their DDoS protection mechanism is very good and works.
This is very important for users, in order to increase trust and confidence in the service.
It would be interesting to find out who is behind these DDoS attacks, other competitors or hackers hoping for a ransom.
SageSwap, do you have any ideas?

Well, it is normal for sites like SageSwap and other swapping sites to get DDOS attacks as attackers will always be willing to exploit any loopholes, and if they can't breach the security or hack the site, the minimum they can do is to do the DDOS attacks. Surviving all those attacks and proving to be resistant to such attacks shows a great strength of SageSwap and their determination to make this a reliable and trusted service.  Smiley

If you use Google search, there's a chance you'll end up on a phishing site.
I checked this and confirmed that Google returns valid links, including to our forum.

The more active our forum is, the less chance there is for scammers with phishing sites to deceive users. A forum user has virtually no chance of finding a phishing link in this thread.

It's hard to say, some people just don't have anything to do.

Ddos attacks are expensive to maintain.... Basically every decent web site out there gets attacks from time to time, I don't understand it as well.

I think that even cloudflare may be behind some attacks to try to push users to paid plans.

That's correct, forum users can easily get the correct website of the platform they want to use in here. But for people who have to make a broad search when they are looking for certain services, i.e. 'best mixers to use', then there is a good chance of them ending up in a phishing website. It is also important that when you have successfully used a website, like SageSwap.io for example, it is advisable you bookmark it, so you don't have to type it again when next you want to make use of it.

ddos attacks aren't expensive to carry out, it depends on the target, though, a simple website hosted on free cf can be taken down for $15/M by random stresser/api whatever

I still doubt that for $15 an attacker using a random stresser/api whatsoever to take down a website that's hosted on CF, but surely someone who might have knowledge about such attacks or have previously paid for such attacks could say it more clearly. Again, the ones who're behind such attacks will always remain anonymous, however the intention is always to harm someone's business and nothing else.

Maybe these fake sites should be reported to Google so that they can remove these fake links from Google search? I guess something like that can be done to protect the original business?
Otherwise this could become a serious problem for SageSwap, similar to the current DDOS attacks (I'm glad those attacks didn't harm us).
The fact that SageSwap has already been hit by DDOS attacks so quickly and that there are already fake SageSwap sites clearly says something, doesn't it?

I can only hope that new users will Google SageSwap and check out this forum. We can't protect users from all online threats, so forums are regaining their popularity.
I haven't encountered any SageSwap phishing sites yet, but if they do appear, we already have experience blocking such sites. The more people write to the hosting support, the faster the site will be blocked.

I won't say that I don't know any thing about such attacks but of course I don't know in depth about such attacks because those are often done by the ones who're people with negative intentions.

But, I know one thing that the motive behind such attacks is to take down a good service like SageSwap in this case, and I'm pretty sure that it's not going to be easy for the ones with negative intentions to take down a useful service like SageSwap.

Although, I'm not sure how DDoS protection works but services like SageSwap often create barriers/protection mechanism to stop such attacks and that's what matters most. So far the platform has shown that it's good to be online despite DDoS attacks and that's what matters.

I'm doing a lot of swaps on your exchange, but I don't like the idea of having to add some tiny amount like 0.000044 or 0.000036 ETH to the transaction. For example. Other sites let me send the exact amount I entered, and the only reason I am a bit disturbed by this is because it increases the possibility of accidentally sending a wrong amount.

Since your site says "send exactly XX.XXXX" amount of coins...

Hi, for some time now, you no longer need to enter the exact amount you specified, we changed this a while ago, the FAQ has been updated, but we didn’t update the part about it being “EXACTLY” we should have used a different word here, and this will be changed soon, thanks!

I remember that there was mentioned that if we receive BTC with low AML score, that we can get a refund. Anyone knows what is ptocedure for refund? I made a few swaps yesterday and I got BTC with good AML score, except for one swap (On that swap I got more than 30% AML risk).

ddos attacks aren't expensive to carry out, it depends on the target, though, a simple website hosted on free cf can be taken down for $15/M by random stresser/api whatever

It's not about 15$ or any amount, the question is who has the time and the resources/money to launch an attack against SageSwap ? If it happens any day, it can only be done by its competitor to bring the site down, but those people who have such intentions never succeed in growing their business.

Wouldn't it be better for other service provider to spend their energies improving their own services and not waste time bringing down other businesses in unlawful ways.

I think it's very rare that you get high AML coins and it is mentioned few times by the OP too
We will keep this to ourselves, but coins with high AML will definitely not end up in our reserve pool, so customers do not have to worry about high AML on our part.
. I think AML with 25 - 30% Risk may be acceptable, but I am not sure how the refund process will work in this case, as you already got the BTC. I think you need to return the coins first, but there should be a proper procedure for it, if it even exists.

I know that Sageswap gives pretty clean coins, I made a few swaps before and I got always coins with risk less than 10% according to @btc_aml_bot Telegram bot. That's why I was surprised when I got coins with 34% risk score. To be honest I'm not really sure how big is the risk of funds being locked on some CEX, but AML bot recognizes it as medium risk.

Hi, as far as I know, our support team has already responded to you, and the bot you used is simply inaccurate.

To verify your transaction, we used two different verification systems, one was our own system, and the other was a respected, well known, and paid bot. Both systems yielded similar results, and the coins never exceeded a 20% AML score.
