Taking gambling lightly instead of giving it too much importance will never cause any additional harm, giving too much importance is the root cause of our addiction, because by giving too much importance we get more deeply involved in it, accepting it as a part of our daily life, which is completely wrong. That's right, OP doesn't understand the real essence of gambling, his type will see and treat gambling as an investment or business whereas even casinos refer to gambling as recreational form of entertainment..

Generally speaking, entertainment or fun is there in gambling but honestly money precede any other things that are in gambling.
