There is no reason that can be a justification for addiction in gambling, so we should know what we are doing and also not fool our personal self, playing can be controlled by us, but its unfortunate that many could not achieve this by any means, instead they play as if everything is alright, not taking measures to ensure that they are in the best position to monitor how things should be done or not.

While some say that all bad things can be overcome with discipline and good emotional and financial management, I doubt everyone can do it. Even people who are financially disciplined are still at risk of becoming gambling addicts, throwing away all aspects of discipline and management. I've seen several people addicted to gambling, and in the past, they weren't greedy or indulgent. However, gambling damaged their psychology. Humans are never satisfied in anything. Be it gambling or not, we are always addicted to things that are either working for us or gives us hope that it will work for us, especially when we hear others winning stories. winning can be very addictive and most gamblers would always want to experience that feeling that comes with winning over and over again even though they try to take a break..There us a mental effect it has, like you explained, the dopamine sensation is another reason why gamblers get triggered, it takes a lot of discipline to quit gambling when it gets to that point where they want to always win
