Hero of Good: Suchmoon, Mitchell
I was going to mention Condoras first, but I see his account was online a week ago, although it is marked as "memorial". So I decided to mention those who are still with us and share a line that inspired me ...
Leadership is the ability to inspire others without even trying (and
some statements about what it truly means to be an informal leader). A phrase that, in this chaotic, rapidly changing world, compels me to look closely and seek stability and steadfastness in those around me. These are precisely the qualities I see in
Suchmoon and
Mitchell ... users who know they don't need to prove anything to anyone. I must admit, I even read a few literary passages to understand whether my subconscious really gives these words the meaning that I am trying to describe, so don’t judge if our views differ)
27,000 posts were published in the last
week ... crazy.
Besides the spammers from Stake, the top poster list actually includes some good, high-quality posters that deserve attention, as well as the
Swiss Guard. But I'd like to mention the person behind the Wall Observer bot, ChartBuddy. Who are you, dude? You really are a forum ninja.
Bitcoin Geek: mocacinno, willi9974
Without a doubt,
mocacinno is a top geek for me. Every thread he writes is steeped in knowledge. And his
thread from five years ago is still in my bookmarks. His thread from five years ago is still in my bookmarks, and I refer to it every time I communicate with my clients. I also admire
willi9974, a truly cool representative of the German-speaking section and a true Bitcoiner who oversees Groupbuy Solo Mining, a Bitcoin party that collectively mined 193 BTC over 10 years. By the way, you can join if you want ...
Blockparty 2025 Number 2 (which I joined a week ago) is currently active.
Distancing/ceasing Epochtalk development is a truly significant event, as it would have been too painful for me to part with the familiar interface if the migration to Epochtalk had taken place. But now you know that I'll probably be running BCA again and again.
Also, the financial burden... Of course, looking at it through the lens of 10 years of funding, $6 million seems reasonable, but I still think it's a colossal expense.
There's something else I wanted to discuss... a thread started by gmaxwell:
Is BCT dead and most of the traffic just mindless AI zombies now? I'm not a financier, and there are probably users like fillippone and JayJuanGee who are much more knowledgeable about Bitcoin funds. But I thought that perhaps the forum's capital, which is over 1000 bitcoins, could be managed in such a way that users would receive dividends (perhaps combining dividends with a merit system). Or, based on the profits, we could create conditions for sustainable forum growth ... I think we can find a solution if we consider all possible options together.
What I'm getting at is that the Russian-language section has become empty, just like other sections... users who've been here for years are leaving, and those who've been here from the start aren't getting any younger. We need a solution to attract truly high-quality posters. The forum ecosystem is quite fragile, and signature campaigns won't keep the forum active forever ... after all,
I don't want to launch the Casino Community Awards in five years.
Voting is subjective, right? So, I'll give my vote to BitList, a project TryNinja and I started and intend to further develop as a brand. Compared to other sites, it might seem like a hobby project, but thanks to our inexhaustible enthusiasm, you'll change your mind in just a year. BitList already includes a Bitcointalk Archive, Bitcoin site lists, forum notifiers, a PGP checker for mixers and exchanges (a tool that helps prevent fraud ... btw, I'd like to thank NotATether, as friendly competition helps us grow). A currency converter has been added to the toolkit, and further expansion of BitList functionality is planned. I won't go into details yet, but we're always happy to see you in the discussion thread and eagerly read your suggestions.
Discovery of the Year: RebelMoney
I really like Bitcoin art, so I'm voting for
RebelMoney.
He's a user who's only recently become active and is already making significant strides. Take the time to check out his Bitcoin vision/culture.
Help Buster: Lafu, AakZaki
Without a doubt, AakZaki will be the one to replace nutildah if he wants to take a vacation.

But
Lafu deserves to win the nomination more than anyone else:
Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action!Craft Master: PowerGlove, Inspace, TryNinja
PowerGlove clearly deserves a nomination for the forum patches he rolled out and for his help with this and other events I managed with GazetaBitcoin.
TryNinja is a jack of all trades... there are those who are passionate, but there are also truly talented users in their field who not only understand your vision but can also implement it.
Inspace has been a wonderful assistant for over a year, understanding you instantly. This user not only saves me a lot of time each week, but over the past year has become a benchmark for managing various weekly events.
Local Hero: Pmalek, examplens, dkbit98
In my opinion, the largest concentration of famous names and high-quality posters is in the Croatian section (if we talk about the ratio of activity with other sections), but let's focus on those for whom, as it seems to me, I have not voted yet. Each of these guys is unique in their own way and has a strong point of view, the echoes of which extend far beyond the local section. So, as GB said, the three of you won an Oscar in the same category!
Miss Bitcointalk: Foxpup, Etranger, SatoPrincess
A gang of sexual perverts has captured the Fox Queen's full attention, so apparently she's unaware of my unrequited love. I sense someone among her subjects who disrupted last year's elections. Otherwise, how can she explain that all this year she's been doing nothing but watching the throne room?
