Well, if that's just the reason why  casinos do not create apps, then it's not any valid reason, anyone that have an app on their phone should know how to prevent even their kids from exploring their phones. Growing up, I and my siblings don't touch my dad's phone but we could used my mum's phone as we like. Also, in my parents home, they didn't touch their dad's phone. For my kids, when they are of age to use a phone, I will get one for them, they don't have to use mine. But sincerely speaking, I don't event like app, I'm conversant with casino website.

If all gamblers were as careful as you, there wouldn’t be much risk. But not everyone can do that. Especially now, when a lot of people are pushed into online gambling just because that’s the trend.

In poorer countries, phones are often shared within a household. What if kids see this and get curious? You know how wild their imagination can be. That curiosity can easily turn into interest, and before you know it, you’re planting the seed of gambling at a very young age.

So are you suggesting not using an gambling app will reduce this kind of exposure to the kids? I don't think so mate! Nowadays just using using a phone is enough to get exposure to gambling. You would know that better. Just give them a smartphone and they'll start seeing gambling ads, promotions etc. Even if they don't search the net for anything related to gambling they are likely to see at least one ad related to gambling.  These things are heavily promoted on social media as well as every other ad sources. So I blame the system. Just because things are now online and has easy access to it, made it more popular.

Anyway, that's what I think. That's why I try as much in my ability to hide/cover sensitive things. In fact we all should. And IMO, sharing phones isn't an issue either, these are well known smartphone features, so we should make the best use of them.

I don't think there are any significant differences in features between gambling websites and apps. Some of my friends also gamble online, some on websites and some on apps. I haven't noticed any distinct features; perhaps there are, but I'm not aware of them. And it's not just apps; the purpose of online gambling is certainly to make it easier for them to gamble wherever they want, a move that's keeping pace with developments.

Children nowadays often prefer to play on their phones, so it's best not to install gambling apps, especially if they're from the city and often borrow our phones. Even if they don't understand the steps, they might perceive us negatively because of it. And for those who hide their gambling activities, I think that's normal.

Even if we say you're right, the fact remains that with today's internet technology, online casinos are spreading incredibly fast. The number of gamblers is rising, and online casinos have become more popular than ever.

Perhaps the only thing we can do is educate our children about this. That way, they can gradually practice avoiding these things because they’ve been given a clear idea of what they are.

It is an essential defensive measure that can be easily forgotten by the average user of gadgets to use biometric security options or passwords on their apps. This is a technology that enables us to part privacy of the adults and innocent curiosity of the children. Access protection does not come free, and time saved with the use of apps is very tempting. Phones are supposed to be a private asset, you just don't grant anyone access to your phones and if you really want to share the phone with someone you have to hide the gambling apps on it if you don't want them to know that you gamble. When you know that you're gambling you don't allow children touch your phone,  I have a cousin who is married and he gambles and he is very cautious not to allow his children touch his phone because he doesn't want them to know he gambles.

I have downloaded gambling apps and saved them in a separate file and there I have given a security code where to enter and open the apps, you must open it with the security code. However, it is right that children love to use their parents' mobile phones, but children should be kept away from using mobile phones as far as possible because if children become too addicted to mobile phones, then children will not be focused on their studies and even on food and drink. I use apps and I maintain a lot of privacy.
