I think it depends on how often they gamble, yeah I have seen some gamblers who says that they don't gamble too much and that is because they only gamble once a while sometimes they might decide not to gamble for one week. What kind of "technical knowledge" are you talking about? Gambling isn't rocket science. Having "knowledge" won't make you successful at gambling. There aren't people with "hard luck" and people with "good luck". Luck is completely random and it comes and goes just like that.

In my youth, I was quite impulsive, so I often made decisions to give up certain activities forever. This happened after my first serious failures. I remember promising myself I'd never gamble again. I also had a habit of starting a "new life" on Mondays. 🙋

They can't stop for various reason and the main reason is that they are addicted and they do not want to understand anything except gambling as they think they will be a winer and recover all of their loses one day and they will be able to fulfil all of their needs.

I will not last upto 2 months in gambling if I don't recover the total wager I have made in those days. You don’t necessarily need to quit gambling for good. You can put a cap on your bet size and play frequency. If you manage to do that you can have fun and lose less. We all have our bad streaks but I’ve never thought it would last forever. I take a break, do something else… when I return and play again, my luck usually returns as well.

I mean you can quit for good if you like. If you think gambling is harming you more than anything, you probably should anyway. If you can’t quit even though you want to, that’s also a serious problem. I have met many smokers in my life and most of them were hating smoking. I totally agree with you, I have once gamble to the point that I lost so much money and I started asking myself if this is charm they are using on me but I realized it is not but the problem was that I refused to take a break when I was losing and I wanted to recover what I have lost and I was not thinking straight for sometime because of the loss. Gambling can be so tempting in the sense that the moment you said you won't gamble for sometime that is when you will see games that will look cool and if you follow it you will hit another loss. Yes, I definitely agree with you and this is the worst decision that they make gambling as their source of income, while there is a clear warning from the beginning that there is no guarantee of winning here. And this is why a casino or anyone else is never responsible for anyone's loss here, they have to bear the entire cost themselves.
