How can we identify someone who is addicted?

From the points above, I would try to conclude that they end up neglecting their family responsibilities. Yes, this happens often. On the one hand, if we observe first, they only do it for their own enjoyment because they enjoy it so much and repeat it over and over again, which can lead to addiction. Ultimately, the worst-case scenario is that everyone chases the thrill of their desire to continue playing and gradually forgets about caring for their families.

Honestly, why should we care about the behavior of an addicted gambler? If you care about yourself, you should look at your own gambling activities. Are you already in the addiction category, or are you about to become addicted? Even if other gamblers are addicted, is it important for us to know all their problems? If they are not someone close enough, I might choose to ignore that gambling addict.

Yea, honestly we don't have to give a fuck about addicted gamblers and I personally I don't give a fuck because even If I know or observed someone is an addict what would i do? Treat the person or what? I'm not even a therapist who treat addict and just as you said unless someone or the person who is addicted is my blood or relative I won't give an ear to the case and  everyone should be watchful and careful how they gamble because some people are so ignorant and don't care about what would happen next.

I also agree with what was said above, we need to worry about ourselves because the only ones who know whether we are addicted or not are ourselves, but over time, if we live near a community that is already addicted, it will become a social disease too, our environment will be less comfortable because many bad things might happen at any time if they start to think outside the box when the urge comes and are in a position where they really need money to play.

Obviously recognizing the signs of addiction is very important, especially for someone who just wants to start getting involved in gambling, simply because this knowledge will be a shield that will keep you from getting addicted and various bad effects.
Basically prevention is always better than cure, which is a good idea and I will say one thing that the signs of addiction that I know is when you start to have an excessive interest in winning, you can see it from your enthusiasm when you manage to get a win.

I haven't joined yet, but I think recognizing the warning signs is better than ignoring addiction, which can have negative consequences later on.

In short, prepare for a rainy day.

I get you, even if you haven't join yet but you're still thinking ahead and that's a good start because it's better to know the warning signsuch earlier than ignoring it till it turns out to be a problem later in the future.

Because once you've made up your mind on this and sets your limits, it will help you in avoiding much issues. In a saying it's good for you to prepare for the rainy days than to wait for the rain to wet you. Because if you don't prepare yourself we'll you might end up in regrets.

They are about to win, but it is not money won already, so their talk should not be taken seriously, and even if they are trying to claim to have won more, then they lose to gambling. I still won't believe the person there are some self-praises which some gamblers put on themselves which immediately makes me distrust them instantly, not just seeing them as someone already addicted but as someone who can do anything to make themselves appear good in the eyes of others.
