I would not talk about my issues with the casino I encountered, and how it was solved, but what I will say is this, customer support is very important in every casino because that is the frontline marketers of the casino. The first set of people being encountered by prospects is the online support, and that would determine if the prospect would continue with them or not, so this is why most casinos prioritise online customer support to make sure visitors and registered members are properly attended to. In the absence of support, who will engage with prospective clients then?

Another thing is this, customers want channels through which they can communicate with the casinos if needs arise, so if a casino is not active in responding to their customers' plight, do you think the customers would be comfortable doing anything with them? Customers are very careful because they put in funds, and if there is nobody to talk with in times of challenge, do you expect them to keep their funds with such a casino?

I’ve been thinking about how important customer support really is when gambling online.
Some casinos don’t offer 24/7 live support, only limited hours or email-based help. Would you still trust and gamble on a casino like that, even if it has a good reputation?

Based on your experience, what kind of issues did you encounter with casinos that don’t have active online support, especially during KYC or withdrawals?

The moment I realize that a casino isnt having a good customer support, I will certainly not have full confidence in that casino because the support chat is what makes you as a gambler confident playing with the casino because if for instance you have some issues with some features of the casino and then you want to find out enquiry or possibly fix the problem, how then would you be able to fix the issue when you don't have access to the support at the particular time you need them because a gambler with issues is always an impatient one too

It is an important channel where customers will tell their problems and the issues that they're facing. That's why for me, if I am to gamble with a casino that has no support 24/7, does it mean that they don't have it forever? or they only have it for some specific time or cases. Because that's a very troubling casino when you deal with problems and no one is there to assist you with what you're about to ask them for help with. The comfort that we get from the customer support is actually giving us confidence that they're there whatever happens to us as we gamble.

If I know from the beginning that such casino will not allow live chat support, I'll never gamble on the platform. If I am also aware that the platform does allow support through the mail only and doesn't allow live chat with support, I'll be careful how I gamble on the platform because sending mail to mail with casino support hasn't been faster. A casino without a 24/7 communication team to customer is putting risk into their own casino, except an uneducated person want to make use of that casino or someone that wants to try betting for the first time can use it because they’re not aware of the importance of 24/7 support team in the casino.  Most customer won’t put much trust in such casino because in times of issues, they won’t have anyone to tackle such issue.
But a casino with a 24/7 customer service and are able to tackle customer service on a minimal duration, shows that they put their customer first and there’ll be some form of trust from the customers end.

I like what Josefjix said regarding such support methods of a casino. Email support is the poorest for me except it is accompanied by the live support and other additional support because with only email just get ready that you might not see any respond on the same day. I may not be bothered if a casino has a good reputation but doesn't have a 24/7 customer support centre. But I won't be on a casino without an active support centre. I will not intentionally want to sign up with them if I knew ahead that there was no active support centre. I don't need support system to be 24/7 but I need it to be very active the few hours it's open. For instance, away from casinos, I've been on Binance since 2017 but I can't remember ever having issues with the exchange that required me needing urgent support to resolve it. Emails are there to defuse whatever it's. Except where a casino is problematic, otherwise 24/7 support centre won't be expedient.

Yes but there’s a big but. I will only play on this type of casino if this casino has solid reputation for a long time and everything is smooth on the casino including the withdrawal and deposit.
