I've had friends in the past who tried to influence or some trap me through investments or gambling, but after experiencing it a few times, I haven't done it again. If someone persistently tells me they have a plan, or even if it's a sports bet, I don't care. If I'm going to do something I want, I prefer to take the risk, not based on someone else's opinion.

We decline because we have already experienced it. But what happens to those who have not experienced it? Most likely, they get tempted and fall into the trap.

We have to be wiser when it comes to investing because not all investments offer earning opportunities. Some of them are garbage. That is why we should think more deeply, take the time to think, and avoid rash decisions.

If that happens to me, I will tell that person that I have to research it and make a decision later. And also to tell him not to expect approval as well.

Returning to your neighbor... There's a scam where the victim is lured into a game with an unpredictable outcome. If the victim loses, the scammer simply disappears. And if the victim wins, the scammer insists they were the one who told the victim the winning combination and now deserves a cash reward. This is how scammers make money off of naive people.

I agree with you because naivety is one of the things that allows a con artist to easily reach anyone. The fact that Shayu was a neighbor relied on the supposed trust between them Anyone can say, "He's my neighbor, I don't think he's going to hurt me, it would be very foolish of me to do so." But I see con artists as fools who use cunning.

Life is such that even well-intentioned people can influence others with investment advice or simply tips like "you should try poker" or "play this, it has profitable slot machines." And everything people say influences us, just as ours influence them. Therefore, it's best to avoid saying too much, lest you suddenly take responsibility for other people's misfortunes and financial losses as a result of this advice. I don't even advise my friends to invest in gambling and crypto because they'll blame me.
Money is a personal matter for each person, and they'll value it more than friendship. After all, money is hard to come by; the hardest thing in life is getting rich.

You have experienced it before, and actually it's not that bad because there is a silver lining to it, where you can learn a lesson for yourself that can be useful in the future when you face the same situation. You can consider it first so that you don't experience the same thing as before. I also agree with you about the things we want, and I think that, like you, I prefer to take risks based on my own opinion rather than other people's opinions. This avoids arguments that might arise if the outcome is disappointing.

I have fell victim of a something similar like that not anymore will I do such, I told him to take it away that am not interested that if he is that sure of the game why not he consider giving it a trial instead of imposing it on me. all this new year show of strength regarding your resolve should not be seen only when we are just at the early phase of the year. same way you are able to think for yourself at the early phase of the year, as the year progress, you should be able to stand up for yourself just like you are doing now. what every gambler that intends being responsible ought to do is to set a do and don't for themselves that keeps them in check and with that, you are already certain that there are things you can never do regardless of the push from anybody to do that. if you are to stake a game, it should be from your own will and not that you are being forced to do it by all means.
