First of all,  I have to appreciate Halab for this unique game and insight you brought to us all that I've participated, it was an amazing experience, it got to a point that I begin to think whether if you are into all this talent Hunt or contest related activities with the way you professionally operated the entire game, this was fun, unique, and also interesting to be honest.

I never regretted participating because it gives me more exposure to lot of things, just as you've mentioned above, the participant interaction is there, market prediction, transparency, vexation, excitement, suspense, and many other thing one could thought of coupled together, having a unique game play like this is parts of my experience here, permit me to summarize my whole user experience together because I may not have to quote each of the point you highlighted.

Here is my review, everything about the game is perfectly done more professionally, you are also up to task as well as being prompt in every of your activity while managing the game play, I don't see any lapses for now, but at the cause of time, i will always forward my suggestions or contributions as well to improve more better in other areas that are relevant to be considered, so just take this my compliments for a job well done, and I will be so glad to also participate in the next round of this game at the stipulated time, please ensure that you PM or tag previous participants in case we are not aware when it's started, I'm sure none of us will want to miss out the second time participation in this unique game experience.

To the winner, congratulations! Leahized! You've done an amazing job already for the last round. Honestly, I was contemplating two users to win the game last round and my expectation was on LoyceV and ESG, but the moment I cited that ESG couldn't afford to meet up with the last round prediction, I already had a strong feeling that the winner could be from the other two participants.

Thank you all  Grin

Generally speaking, what did you think of the game ? Excellent ? Good ? Meh ? Too long ? Too restrictive ?...
I'd say it was fun Smiley But: it did feel a bit long, especially the part where you wait for the predicted date. And the time to submit a prediction was quite long too, leading to the necessity to edit posts.

Quote
If there were a second edition, would you participate ?
If I see the topic: yes Smiley

Quote
Was the rhythm of the rounds (3 days to make a prediction, 2 days of waiting) good ? Too fast ? Too slow ?
Too slow!

Quote
What would be the ideal rhythm for the rounds for you ?
A few hours to make a prediction, at random times so people don't get to sleep Tongue

Quote
It’s been mentioned before, but I’m ok with awarding BTC to the top 3 in each round, though the bonus/malus in the cash shop would be more expensive.
Was the cash shop useful ? Useless ?
I don't think this was used often enough. It was too attractive to keep "saving" for another life, instead of using it to send a malus to other users. Maybe add a 20% "storage tax" on all unused Bitcoin, for each round. So 50 BTC > 40 the next round > 32 the next round.

Quote
What kinds of bonus/malus could be added ?
"Take 10% of the final prize money from user X if he wins" (with the possibility to buy "undo").

Quote
Which round did you appreciate the most?
The ones I won Wink

Quote
Which round did you appreciate the least?
The one where Hypnotizer took my life Sad

Quote
Edit or not edit ? Haaaa that’s the big question Smiley.
I still don’t have a definitive answer to this question. Remember, the game has to stay simple.
LoyceVs PM Publisher is a good tool for this game, but that would mean LoyceV couldn’t participate in the game to avoid any doubts. That’s not an option.
Sign a message ? Keep it simple, as I have said Smiley.
Signing a message is simple Wink I'd say go for this: Bitcointalk users should be able to sign a message and follow simple instructions.

Quote
Is there a website or external tool that could meet the game’s needs (making a prediction in secret and revealing it without anyone suspecting cheating) ?
Even if that exists, you'll get the complication of creating external accounts. I create as few accounts as possible.

Thanks for hosting this!

A very nice battle I must say and I enjoyed every bit of it from the first rounds to the one I nearly got eliminated but all thanks to my duel card, I grab LoyceV’s life to continue only to get eliminated not long after..  Roll Eyes

But generally speaking this was a great” tournament” and congratulations to the winner…Leahized, something inside of me always consider you the favorite to win and my instincts were right.. Congratulations.  Cool

I think that the biggest issue is with post editing/visibility.
In theory, you can play it safe simply by being among the last to edit/post - and it kills the buzz a bit.

I usually don't play these predictions but I'd play the next one - mostly for the banter.

I find your lack of faith in BTC disturbing.

It's not my job at all, but I must be under some kind of curse because I often end up organizing tournaments, quizz, etc... even when I don't want to Smiley

I'd say it was fun Smiley But: it did feel a bit long, especially the part where you wait for the predicted date. And the time to submit a prediction was quite long too, leading to the necessity to edit posts.

I think we are both part of a dying breed, we grew up on the internet with forums. We are used to checking a forum several times a day. Look at the first few rounds, there were plenty of people who forgot to make their predictions.
If we run a contest that requires logging in every day, I’m afraid it won’t attract many people.
And also, I need to sleep from time to time.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing (for the third life, seeing Leahized stuck at 97 BTC for so long really made me laugh). The Cash Shop needs a revamp, but I would have thought you would be more aggressive with each other.

Signing a message is simple Wink I'd say go for this: Bitcointalk users should be able to sign a message and follow simple instructions.
I'm afraid we are underestimating the number of mobile users. Are there any Bitcoin wallets on cell phones that let you sign a message ? (I don't have anything related to crypto on my phone. I just use my phone to make phone calls.)
Otherwise, I was thinking about something : can you easily add another user to LoyceVs PM publisher, one you wouldn't have access to ? But one way or another, if you wanted to, you still have access to the data ?

Even if that exists, you'll get the complication of creating external accounts. I create as few accounts as possible.
I'm on the same page as you.
