Yes there are people who have actually gotten rich because of gambling, but you can not really tell tbh
You don't knowe how lucky they got, you don't know how much they risked, you don't know how they got to where they are, and you are fully aware that gambling is a game of luck and risk.
So the best thing to do is for you to have your fun playing and if you get lucky enough you will also get rich as well.

I agree with you. Seeing gambling as the main goal of income is the biggest mistake in life. Gambling is completely dependent on luck. Those who think gambling is an easy way to earn income are basically deceiving themselves.

It is good to hear stories of success in gambling, the reality is much harder. You can win once by losing and losing again and again. But there is no guarantee that you will ever find that victory.

Winning in gambling is very difficult and there's no guarantee of winning so you end up losing more in the process of gambling.



The best approach to gamble is to remove your mind from winning big because when your mindset is already set up on winning big you are likely continue to gamble because the mindset is already corrupted. You can get rich through some skill advantage possibly like poker or some would argue horse racing though I've no idea on that.  Its possible enough to tempt the majority of gamblers even though its very much a minority who will manage it, much like the lottery or anything really you have to acknowledge the game cost and luxury to gambling entirely.

It would be more accurate to say that it is not the players who are guaranteed a regular income, but those who provide the platforms for gambling. Some gamblers have that thought in their mind that they can become rich through gambling and they have been consistently gambling with more than 50% of their income and yet they have not become rich, some other gamblers that also thought same way are not really gambling recklessly with the money they can not afford to lose, they are playing with little money which they set aside for fun.  At the end of the day, you know who will become really poor between those two kinds of people. One of them is compulsive with all their income while the other person is not compulsive and only bets with little amount.

I don’t believe that gambling is the right path for getting rich, and it is not just the odds that am concerned about,  but the mentality gambling creates. Gambling make people to believe on luck rather than structure, skill or planning and even when someone wins big, there is no guarantee they will be able to do it again or manage the money they just won.  Many of the success stories we hear are just the result of bias. We do not hear from the thousands of people who lost and left with regrets.

Gambling can be losing game after losing game and people still get trapped in a cycle of betting and losing money because of the false hope that the next bet will win big and recover the money lost.  There is always a slim chance of that,  but the outcome is always going to be a losing game and money is going to be lost. After a while quitting becomes very hard not because you are close to winning, but because you have already invested too much money and it will not be easy to just walk away.

I would never get addicted to gambling because putting money into things with less than a 1 in 100 chance of winning big is time and money wasted,  building wealth takes a consistent effort, which doesn't bubble with the excitement of gambling,  but the rush of gambling isn't a solution to gaining money.  Putting effort into a side hustle is going to be way more rewarding than betting on the next big something.

I know this is rare but the percentage of people who are gambling today have this perspective and notion about becoming successful through gambling, and of course that is very possible but is very rare to happened, but guess what?

This is what gets most people trapped in between, because they are trying to prove themselves that they can make it true gambling but without knowing it is going the other way round where you would be gambling and losing after countless loses you could find it too hard to quit couples with the amount spent for years of gambling without succeeding hitting a better chance.

Don't get me wrongly, there are people who gambles a day and made it in their life and there are people who has been gambling for the past 1-3 years without winning any substantial amount while gambling and yet didn't quit gambling. I want to know if you found yourself in this condition would you continue to gamble or you will quit along the line?

I think it is possible to earn millions from Gambling because i have seen my close friends hit the jackpoint not 1 or 2 or 3 times but like alot of times but i have also seen them lose in the hundreds, now while you can make money from gambling, getting rich i think is something a bit farfetched because being rich and then making a few good predictions cannot amount to a constant flow of money to make someone rich. You cannot get rich off a source that is not constant but still you can hit a really good jackpot and earn good money but rich is still far

I’d probably quit playing, because usually it’s the owners of the gambling business who get rich and make money, not regular players. Sure, there are exceptions, and some people do manage to get rich through gambling. But in most cases, those are national lottery winners who hit huge jackpots.

I also know a couple of people who got rich playing poker after winning a big tournament with massive prize money. Sports betting can also help you win a lot of money — but only if you have information about fixed matches

I think it is very challenging to succeed in gambling, to manage gambling consistently, proper knowledge and skills are required, but luck plays a big role in winning, none of us know in advance what the outcome will be, no matter how knowledgeable or skillful we gamble, we have to depend on luck to win. If we have good luck, we can win, and if we do not have good luck, that is not possible, but by gambling with proper knowledge and skills, self-control over oneself is maintained, which is very important. Therefore, it is very important to always manage gambling with awareness.
