That can only happen on the terms of luck however if the persons from your story didn't use that money well I believe he would have become broke by now because when you become greedy and take gamble as a means or source of income that would mean you putting so much effort in making sure you gamble frequently to place yourself in a position where luck finds you and that also means you'll be spending more to gamble.
