By a skilled responsible gambler, I mean that he has been able to survive in gambling for a long time. He bets for the purpose of entertainment. There are both gains and losses in gambling. It depends on luck. Skill and experience do not always work. Because in gambling you cannot predict anything in advance. But you can freely control how much money you will bet. Therefore, if you can always control what comes under your control, then you can control the amount of losses in gambling and this will keep you in gambling for a long time.

Then it's hard to tell who's a responsible gambler and who's an addictive gambler from your post. Even addicted gamblers can continue to gamble for a very long time, being addicted to gambling doesn't mean they always lose. Of course, they some time win and sometimes lose just like other gamblers. Most gamblers know how to control how much they bet but some can not control how often they bet and this is how they get into addiction.

Op, Yes you could become rich through gambling and likewise, you could become poor and homeless through gambling. It works either way but unfortunately you can not tell which category you fall into hence, always gamble responsibly.

Do you know anyone like that? The names I can remember like that were old times gamblers who luckily did acquire the success but some of them still ended up broke or left gambling for good because they fall into addiction. Gambling is a game of probability and those that are smart used the money to won from gambling to establish other investment.

Of a true there are no Gambler that wins consistently for a long run in my own observation. And I agree with you that some people or a little number of people managed to win big and settled themselves for life while some are still hovering around and galavanting from one betting shop to the other. I could also remember growing up as a young man, my parents usually tell me that a certain man won huge amount on bet but he is still poor and wretched because of greed. Greed in the sense that he used the fund to stake high to double his money and lose. While some others, out of excitement and not even knowing they could win that amount in there life, they started lavishing it by sleeping in hotel, clubbing, drugging, drinking , smoking, womanizing and started leaving expensive life till they came back to square 1. I have heard so much story that have discouraged me about Gamblers and how they spend their fund. But one thing I just bear in mind is that they are poor minded people, they where never prepared mentally, if they where prepared they will have quite and start a substantial business and focus and become useful in life.

Lets just say that you can think you can become rich through gambling, you can dream about it, you can try to achieve that, but there are no guarantees that you will become rich. Lets say there are guarantees that while trying to become rich through gambling, you will only become poor. Unless system makes a mistake or luck decides to interfere. Instead of testing luck in gambling, I would suggest to try luck in mastering skill, getting experience and with them try to become rich. If things go bad, you will still have skill and experience, but will lose only time, same as you will spend it while gambling.

I believe it is possible for a very few people to make a living from gambling, but it is not a sustainable way to do it. As previously noted, the stories of success usually involve luck, or short-term gains. The problem is that gambling is an activity based on chance, and chances are often stacked against the gambler. If someone does succeed, they usually end up losing everything because of poor management, greed or poor investment strategies. I believe that gambling can provide opportunities, but usually the money is made by reinvesting what is won.

Getting rich through gamble is very rare and it's almost an impossible thing all to achieve. Though some lucky players literally find their way around it , but it's not something to depend on because it is not that certain. Thank you for revealing the secret, as there are people out there who could adopt it to their own gambling life, and see how it goes for them; it could likely make them have a double target as they play with minimal concentration on games as much as they do initially. However, jackpots are just a game of fortune for anyone who becomes the lucky one for the win. I think this would get them rich, as they had prayed for, if it works for them.

Having the mindset or the understanding that one can get rich through gambling can only bring in more pains, regrets and disappointment, which are harmful to the body. So, gamblers should just accept gambling as an alternative to get entertained and not to make money through it, which will save them from the stress of getting off when they are already in the pit of doom, which they are to just get fun from it and if they are luck to win, that's is also fine but it shouldn't be something one can hope to earn from it.
