Some already become rich unaware while those that have the intention of same never made it, this is how the principle of life works sometimes, we can't be more dependent on what is not certain, except by luck, some has made it to gambling fortune already and today you will discover that it were as if they never had such an opportunity, because they wasted it.

When I was still addicted, I was very confident that I could get rich by gambling, especially when I won, but that was just a fleeting thought because in reality I only suffered greater losses. You're right about that, and I agree with you when you said that being curious to become rich through gambling is like commiting suicide because you will keep struggling to get it yet it won't get to you. So yeah I like this method of gambling without even having the feeling of becoming rich through gambling, even though you're aware of it but you just need to stay positive and don't have any expectations that you know it is very hard to achieve. If you're going about it this way some day you will be surprise to see yourself wining big in gamble.

But I think it is not that easy to earn money by gambling. You cannot earn money by going to a casino or by gambling online. It is not possible for a gambler to keep track of how many times he has lost before winning each time.

That’s just it. Gambling being capable of making someone rich doesn’t mean that anyone can be rich through gambling. If there’s one thing we need to understand about gambling, it is the fact that gambling is a game of luck, chance and randomness, and these are the factors that controls the outcome of the game. It depends more on the person's character. If they don't have any money, then of course they will spend all their winnings on gambling again. But those who have no problems with discipline will start a new life with their new money.I think many people, even from this thread, would stop playing if they became rich tomorrow, and then the goal would be achieved.

I know this is rare but the percentage of people who are gambling today have this perspective and notion about becoming successful through gambling, and of course that is very possible but is very rare to happened, but guess what?

One should never think that one will get rich through gambling. Because no one can guarantee the profit of gambling. One can win from gambling and many people win big but cannot keep that winning for long. The reason for this is that every time one wins in gambling, greed will increase. Gambling can make you rich if that's your destiny but only a few destiny is in gambling compared to the number of gamblers we have in the world today. If you're gambling for fun and it's your destiny to hit the jackpot, you will still hit the jackpot someday. However, if you don't have the luck to hit the jackpot, if you gamble often, you will not be lucky. Gambling is for fun and not a path to riches.

You can get rich through some skill advantage possibly like poker or some would argue horse racing though I've no idea on that.  Its possible enough to tempt the majority of gamblers even though its very much a minority who will manage it, much like the lottery or anything really you have to acknowledge the game cost and luxury to gambling entirely.

It's true that some people became rich betting on horse racing, but think it was either luck or some shady business like arranged races that were fixed(or rigged) horse races. It is not at all the right decision to choose gambling to make a quick fate. AFAIK, only a handful of people belong to the first group, so the chances of it happening to most of us are quite low... I'm part of the second group that has never won a significant amount in the past year or two, but I still place my bets whenever an interesting game pops up and since I have no expectation whatsoever ^{[to most of us, it's supposed to be for fun]}, the outcome of those bets have no impact on me continuing it or not.

If we take gambling for what it is and should be, people will not be worrying about wealth generation from gambling. Don't say gambling is capable of making someone Rich because i have never seen anyone who became rich through gambling, even though some forum members have been sharing stories of people who made millions of $$$ through gambling yet I'm not convinced unless I see it with my eyes. Although I know it could be possible since it's a game of luck but the way most people are saying it and also sharing it in the media makes me feel that it's not real because these wining stories keep popping up almost all the time in the media or maybe they are just influencers who are trying to get people to join their platform.
