You need to realize things as early as possible instead of chasing for your losses better to accept the outcome and move forward, if the amount is huge then stop for a while try to analyze things and assess if what adjustments and limitations that you need to setup in order to avoid making more mistake that may lead you to lose more, gambling always accompanied by risk you need to control yourself if you want to lessen your losses.

I do something that works really well for me: when I lose, I accept it. The amount doesn't matter; I know I lost. In another gaming session, I don't dwell on what I lost because it's a new session, so I reset my mind because there's no point in dwelling on that negative impact Losing is a negative thing for me, so what I have to do is transform it into something positive But how? That has been the problem from the beginning, many gamblers if not all do think that they can be profitable from gambling even if they are not seeing any result rightnow. The confidence that they are going to be profitable one day has been the reason why their are more gamblers losing money to gambling but are not bothered since the hope is still there.

After experiencing losses their mind is being clouded with I can make it back if I just keep gambling . When your mind is set on such you are only going to make things worse , because gambling is a game of uncertainty so there’s no guarantee that you are going to win if you keep going (chasing ) after losses .

So the earlier you realize that chasing losses will do you no Good but only harm . Because there are higher chances that you can just keep losing till you stop or eventually run out of funds to gamble .
