Does anyone else feel unlucky every time they lose?

Everyone feels unlucky when he or she looses a game and even myself I feel thesame too. We all gamble to win , but when we gamble and did not win, we don't only feel unlucky but also unhappy. We should bear one thing in mind, you don't win your bet everytime, sometimes you win and sometimes you loose and is important you have this understanding before you delve into gambling so that you don't look at loosing a bet as something strange. Some people have the mindset that gambling is a profitable business, but when they try and it doesn't work the way they think, their heart becomes broken.

There's no body that rejoice over losing their bet even though the person is just playing for fun, meaning that the feeling is always mutual among gamblers to feel unlucky when ever they lose a  bet. Personally I don't feel happy losing but it's something that one can not control or prevent it from happening, so I just don't let it get to me, once I see the game lost, I could just sigh and leave it to do something else that will take my mind off the moment.

For someone that claims that they are gambling for entertainment or for fun. It is not a good idea to be complaining over losses. It is does that has the motive of making profit from gambling that is supposed to feel sad when ever they lose while gambling because they have not been able to achieve there motive for gambling. As for those that gamble for fun they should only feel sad when they are not able to be entertained which is there main aim of gambling.
I doubt if there is actually set of gambler's that is into gambling for fun alone and not for the both. Which is to catch and also make profits.

Those gamblers that gamble fun i will love to interpret these gambling for fun in my own best of knowledge, when ever i see or come across those gamblers that say that they gamble for fun,  they are simple passing information that all gamblers should gamble with what they can afford to lose and once you are use to gambling on what you can afford to lose the addiction in gambling will not be there any money because you know that gambling is not only way of source of income, so i believe that is the better way a to be responsible while gambling, so it is not a bad idea of those gamblers that gamble for fun to have the feeling of being so unlucky when ever they losses because we all are humans and no matter how little the money can be in staking with, i will say that every gamblers that experience lossing are unlucky everytime no matter what you gamble for.

Isn't it natural to feel bad when you loss money?, it is my dear, and so does everyone else feels when they loss too. But the difference is in the mindset, yea. Did you gamble all because you want to win andake more gains? Did you gamble with a money you really needed for something's else? Did you gamble with the money you can't afford to loose for now? If yes, then you would feel even more bad and full of regrets. But if your answer was no, then there is a level to how you will feel, because you weren't expecting anything out of it, and that's why you always hear people say we should gamble for fun and not for financial gains and riches, because gambling will always disappoint you if you put your hope on it as a source to make money

I believe that the majority of gamblers are naturally unlucky when they lose regardless of the experience level. The disappointment is normal since in everyone there is a bet that he/she hopes he/she will win. But I am in concurrence with the fact that it is essential to learn that gambling involves losses. In case a person comes with the attitude of every bet having to be profitable, he or she will always be disappointed and broken. People who claim to be having fun playing gambling games still do not love to lose. The major distinction is our response. Facing a loss with poise and continuing to play demonstrates discipline and hypocrisy only results in an unwarranted emotional strain to a game.

I wouldn’t say I feel unlucky everytime but a few times the feelings come as I am human. This could be from back to back losses. You can’t evade feeling like you’re unlucky especially when you didn’t follow your intuition? Or maybe when you didn’t place the bet but your prediction came through, some times it’s okay to feel that way. But overall, when I lose? I see it as part of the cycle, you can’t win everytime. Yes, it is true that everyone who gambles expects that they will win something big because of what they are betting on, but when they do not win, they feel unlucky and it is natural to feel this way because if you do not feel unlucky after losing, then you will not be able to accept that loss. However, at that time, no one can easily accept that loss, which is why they become emotional and use it to play more and more and panic and bet even bigger than before so that they can recover their loss very quickly. And when they lose again, they feel unlucky and continue to gamble in this way, consoling themselves.

First of all  if we came to the context of gambling, then we have to realise that in gambling most of the person will face loose and there will be fewer people who will be winner. So from this context most of the people we always think that we were unlucky because if it do 10 times on gambling then maybe most of the time we will face losses.

And for the same reason, most of us think that we are unlucky, and besides, people's desires are unlimited and they cannot be satisfied very easily, so most people will still call him unlucky even if he passes lucky time and loses only two out of 10 times.

I think every gamblers is in almost the same mindset as a whole where when we lose we will consider this as a disadvantage or we will consider this a misfortune but when we win in a bet that we do will be considered as luck.

But its a healthy mindset for me compared to those who consider themselves to be a pro just because of a few wins and will try to blame many parties when losing including some controversial things that happen in matches (Ive a friend who does this when he loses then he will look for other parties mistakes including referees when he bets on football) .

At least by assuming that the lack of luck when losing and luck when winning can make us stay on track so as not to be too ambitious more because gambling should still be a game of luck included in betting even though the probability can be controlled.

Loved your answer because a lot of people need to know that it is actually natural to feel bad when you lose money..  Money is valuable to we humans, so once we lose something valuable, it will naturally trigger us emotionally..  That reaction is normal, we are humans, nobody is made with stone..

Where it now becomes different is the reason behind the gambling and the mindset going in, just like you said..   If someone used money they don’t want to lose or money that is meant for something important, then the regret will be so high.. But if it can be fully accepted as a risk from the start, then that emotional damage  will not be deep at all..

When I was a newbie, this is my mindset. I regret playing the game where I risk my money since I didn't became lucky to win. I thought it's easy, it's just that, I have bad choices. But as time goes by, I realized that regardless of what games you play, luck is a major factor to win. Anyway, it's normal to feel unlucky but what matter here is you're not dwelling and able to move on for being aware of the risk when you decided to gamble your money.

That's not a weird mindset, no one likes losing and that's the honest truth so it's normal to feel unlucky after losing but one thing you shouldn't do is ti dwell on it because doing all of that isn't going to change what has already happened. You need to let go of that thought and accept your losses so you won't think about chasing your losses. Lastly, always stake an amount that you know you can afford to lose.

You have a point. It is natural to feel somewhat when lost funds through gambling, which is why gamblers are advised not to gamble with the funds meant for something else or funds that they cant afford to lose to prevent emotional imbalance that could lead to losing the ability to control buzz.

Anyone who really understand what gambling is shouldn't be worried when they lose. There is some I observed most in gambling, you hardly win bet when you are in need. That is why I always laugh at people when they plan against gambling winning to do certain things. Although, you may feel abit worried after lose especially if you have bet on your favourite team and they disappoint. But this shouldn't take minute before you go over it. You're not overthinking, dude. That is the reality. Unless you blame others for your losses…lol.

Losing 2 out of 5 bets, you're not losing anyway but winning. And asking why it can't be perfect? Because luck doesn't stay as you want. However, if every day you have the same results, you're making money out of gambling. That is great.

Whether we feel unlucky or not, losing is not a new thing in gambling. Let us accept the fact that casinos are not meant to lose but we are (gamblers).

You are just reacting to your losses and that's quite normal but this only becomes a problem when you start getting obsessed about winning because this is only going to make you unable to accept the losses you incur which might lead to loss aversion or trying fo recover those losses. in Gambling we win and lose, even though you feel unlucky that should not affect your mental state to a point where it makes you chase losses. I completely agree with your opinion. One of my friends also has the mindset, that he will have a greater chance of winning, if he has lost a lot. Honestly, I think there is something wrong with that mindset. I often argue against people who say things like that, indeed it is not true. Winning is simply about luck, not about how much you lose. So, I don't think there is a connection between the two.

By the way, what I worry about people with this mindset is, that they are highly susceptible to the risk of further losses, or maybe even become irresponsible gamblers, due to their high intensity. Therefore, I have often reminded everyone, including myself, to always manage their time and finances properly when gambling. So, by this way, we can all become responsible gamblers and gamble without feeling overwhelmed, especially after a recent loss.

And again, one thing gamblers should prepare their minds about is the fact that in gambling, inasmuch as there are two possible outcomes in gambling, which is winning and losing, the chances of losing is usually way more higher than winning, and if gamblers know this reality, they wouldn’t really have to feel unlucky whenever they lose, but rather consider it to be a very normal thing, and even when they win, they still also look at the wins equally the same way because losses are part of the game.
