Review sites are complete disaster nowadays and I don't waste my time going through them cause they're mostly reviews that doesn't come from experience but from paid actors manipulating the system. With money you can get whatever rating that you want poeple to see.

You are absolutely right, completely right because I myself have one time in 2023 or so, participated in a campaign off this forum where we were being paid $20 every week to post good reviews about a crypto exchange and give them five star rating, we are about 10 people in number on this mission, and to make this look very legit, each week one would have to sign up a new account on the review site and drop a new good review on the crypto exchange page and also give five star rating, there was a manager who checks and makes sure the task was properly done before sending the money to all who did the task well..

The review site was trustpilot, that incident is one of the major reasons why today, I don't trust any review I see on trustpilot because the potential or chances it's a paid review is very high.

It's true that there might be cases where people cheated at the casino, got banned, contacted support to defend themselves against accusations, but support didn't side with them. I share the same thoughts, so I'll never trust anything written by random users online. However, many of our forum users are reputable and I remember them because I've been here for a long time. I now understand the level of trust I should apply to them, but ultimately, I still make my own decisions about which casinos to choose. I began to notice those changes on Google especially, where bad/critical reviews are hidden beneath, that you have to scroll down a couple of-- "Ah, best trending services" "Ah, if not for this, would have that" etc.. type of comments. If you're a type that easily gets fooled by the first two lines, then you're an easy target for them.

I didn't even think some review sites would be doing it because of their high standards and ideological integrity. I mean they aren't even using their own faces when they review them, so why would they care?

They care about affiliate money because it's their only revenue, and reason they have build their sites in the first place. I have thought it might be cool way to make some money as well, but it's probably over saturated business.

I am fairly certain that many of them are manipulating their traffic data and are contacting casinos offering to keep them in the site if they pay. Especially with shady casinos that makes sense as they would like nothing more then better reputation.

Not necessarily, but people rarely go and find a review site just to mention that they got good time playing a casino but it happens when they are scammed or got bitter user experience.

My unpopular idea was to let people see the bad reviews before reading the good ones - put bad reviews at the top and good ones under.

Some review sites don't allowed bad on reviews on some products ; the moment you submit a bad reviews, they'd accuse you of duplicate emails and some sort of stupid excuses to decline your review.

The review sites are acting like shillers these days. They will never post any bad review to the site that paid them. So the relevancy to use the review site these days is almost non exist. Yes, and it is in on way limited to casinos. Maybe one of the rare places where an exception to some extend exists are tech reviews, because if you falsify your benchmarks greatly then you will be discovered very soon. However, even there the way that articles are written and conclusions are being made often show signs of paid bias.

What I think is that these reviews can be manipulated, for example, a new casino has just launched and it doesn't take long for many reviews to discuss that the casino is very reliable or it is very easy to win, it could be a review written for reward.
