People no longer make use of their intellect anymore and that's just facts, everything they do is with Ai. The brain is a powerful tool that needs to be exercised, without making use of it and by that I mean doing critical thinking and solving some problems it might start becoming slow. The point you're making about AI can both make you worse and more creative and productive is that it ultimately depends on the individual's approach to AI technology. The more we rely on AI for everything the more we risk becoming lazy. Over-reliance on AI will lead to lower brain activity, weaker memory and diminished critical thinking and creativity. This will have long-term negative consequences, just as a rarely used muscle can become a problem and vice versa.

So as you say, the problem isn't AI, but how you use it. If you use AI as a brain replacement it will make you lazier. But if you use AI as a tool, it can actually make you more creative and productive.

I was using one of the AI tools to do some graphic design and it came out so beautiful as a result. I was very happy with the result I got through AI because creating it, it wasn't stressful and the result was productive.

 Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

Lazy? From a programming perspective it has made me faster and more efficient. Lazy because I do not spend hours writing code that even a monkey could write? I just need to be certain of the logic behind it, I don't want to have to type every little thing up. 

You might as well call any coder lazy because he/she uses copy+paste.

AI is the next stage in human development, but we must understand that there will inevitably be:

To claim this based on past situations is a fallacy. Many "useful inventions" have brought a lot of negative things to use, and many have brought more negative things than the benefits that they have brought. Literally every corner of the planet is polluted in various ways, but keep living the pipe dream of an industrial utopia and marketing-proclaimed benefits of various bullshit inventions. You watch too many movies, as does the other luddite that is pretending to be an expert on various topics after failing to scam money via a fake mining operation.

Yes and how does someone get to the point where that kind of code is "monkey-level" code for them? By spending time and doing the grunt work, the foundations of everything are the cornerstone of skill. These days you have all sorts of luddites with limited IQ who are vibe coding and praising AI while they are not any more skilled than an actual monkey. Do you want to fly in an airplane that was coded by a vibe coder or AI enhanced specialist?   Sure as heck no sane person would want to do that. These things are not knowledge systems, they are language prediction things. They can enhance productivity if used correctly, that does not in any way dismiss their negative impact. Mobile phones have had immense benefits and at the same time they have brought a ton of downsides, which probably overall outweigh the good things (individually and in general for the society as a whole) even if you are an addict who would refuse to admit it. The same thing is going to happen with AI, just faster and more intensified.

Not a valid comparison, the copy + paste tool is not able to hallucinate all sorts of bullshit and low quality code while simultaneously praising the retard who is asking it questions for his expertise. If you ask it about complex parts of any single topic it is going to be wrong and hallucinate all sorts of bullshit, just recently it did all kinds of mental exercises with ECC for me. What you’re describing isn’t a problem with invention; it’s a problem with HUMANITY! It is people who find ways to use BENEFICIAL inventions for harmful purposes. From the invention of fire to spaceflight and nuclear energy. Using AI isn’t a bad thing. The truth is that Ai is really helping people to learn new things and even solve problems that are difficult. For me the problem isn’t AI but how people use it. People who decides to use AI in everything they do finds it difficult to grow. Because people need their brain to think property ,but if they don’t it weakens the brain more. But if you use AI as a supporting system you will discover that you will be more smarter. AI makes some tasks easier and increases productivity this is good. But it should not completely eliminate learning and skill development. My thought using AI as a starting point or idea generator while continuing to learn basic skills is the healthiest approach, allowing you to customize and control ideas and create new opportunities.

Seriously all these AI stuff is not necessary at all, imagine if we completely accept the use of AI, it simply means we choose to be lazy and there are things we can do with our hands that we have to let AI to take over and by so doing it will affect human life completely. We live in era where new technologies are coming every 6 months or a year. If its not AI, I am sure there will be some other disruptive technology instead. AI is here and its impact is seen in almost every field of life. Recently there was news that Oracle has fired around 30,000 employees because of AI. Now as an individual we need to upgrade our skills in order to fit into this new era which is completely dominated by AI. Its in our interest to embrace this change and not resist it.

This situation is somewhat a matter of perspective, because AI can make many things easier and better, which is a good thing, but the existence of AI is causing many people to become lazy, which is a bad thing. The perspective from which we view it shows how we approach this issue.

Choosing laziness and letting AI do the work is one option, but working hard, improving oneself, and dedicating more time to producing something good is another. I can't criticize people for choosing one of these options, but this isn't true for every sector or place.

For example, in education, using AI to do homework hinders learning many things and makes students lazy.
