For the fact that you don't take alcoholics drinks never means or prompt quick judgement to those that see it as a way of reducing stress, secondly it is not all drinking can make one drunk that's why all that drinks are not drinkers. One joy experienced in watching football games is the argument that exists in the viewing centres and at times plays i good role in reducing stress in human. Not that there is something special in going to watch games or will increase one anxiety but is just the sacrifice we can offer for the love we have for sports and also can be seen as an entertainment source
Yes, there's different type of drinks. we have soft and hard ones which some gamblers is likely to go for the soft one while some gamblers can decide to go for the hard Ones it's just a matter of choice, But I must say that sometimes I go for hard drink that's when I feel like taking it but I usually go for soft drinks while watching football match but my friends usually tell me that taking hard drink is more preferable while gambling as it will make you forget all your Borden, sometimes you might even forget that you place a bet. After gambling if one has to take hard drinks to forget it, then it is obviously understood that it is a kind of effort to reduce stress which is easily understood that not for entertainment. Moreover, when taking hard drinks, the gambler can be said to be unconscious, so he will not be able to take any decision consciously later. That is why it is better not to take alcohol after betting, but if someone takes a soft drinks and is aware of the bet, then it is not a problem. In some cases, taking a soft drinks after placing a bet can give a better feeling.

There's no problem with drinking beer as long as you are drinking moderately. I actually love to drink beer while watching live matches and it gives me more drive to keep the winning positivity.
But if you don't have limits and control from drinking beer, that would be a big problem then. Its like you are there to drink but not to gamble. So expect that aside that you get dizzy, the result as well will make you anxious especially if you end up losing your bet.
Drinking beer is never bad, unless if you turn to be abusive on your body and drink like there's no tomorrow.
In some shops, they are offering free live streaming of the match as long as you will order some drinks or foods. So for me, this is just normal as long as you said that drink moderately. Not to the point that you don't know what's happening around you anymore. Because in most cases, drinking beer with your friends is like you are having good conversation with them while watching the game. But you should know your limits so you are still clear headed all throughout the game. So if taken moderately along with good convo, this will be a very good quality time with friends. But if not, you will soon find out that it will bring more headache than relaxation that you need. So it is on you how you will take that beer next time you ask your friends to watch and have a beer.

Some gamblers take hard drink while watching the match and this would make them not to remember if they gamble or not as they will be so excited while watching and sometimes it could be due to the influence of the alcohol they took. I prefer taking hard drink while watching than taking it after watching, because taking alcohol after gambling could be as a result of depression and this can probably make gamblers to start making impulsive decision because even when they get tipsy yet they will keep remembering thier lost.

To watch Juventus vs Galatasaray holding a beer will not increase anxiety automatically. For many people, a moderate drink would make you relaxed and make the game much more enjoyable.
The real problem isn't the beer, it is the attachment of emotions. When you have money on the match or are invested strongly, you are bound to have a high level of stress. Alcohol can reduce inhibition and and amplify emotions slightly, therefore when thing go badly, you may react more strongly than how you normally would have.
Therefore yes, it can raise anxiety for some people, yet only when they are tensed already or overly invested. One beer in a setting that is calm will not usually create extra stress on its own.

That you can afford to buy beer and watch live matche shows that you can afford to gamble and enjoy yourself with the entertainment in it and losing a bet could mean nothing to you, we must do all it may requires for us to have fun in it full packages when gambling or watching live matches, because we use information from them to play our bets, so why should the anxiety increase, except the gambler is already drunk by doing that.

Good for you. Don't drink beer as it will cause you more anxiety or will make you fearless when you watch the live games. But either of that will make you potentially lose a lot and that's why you should choose not to drink one. Just be sober whenever you bet and watch the games so that it won't make you so emotional before and after.

When you watch while drinking beer, it should actually make us relax while watching it, not trigger anxiety, beer makes us calmer if we drink enough and not too much, but if you drink too much, your heart and mind can easily change at times like that, which might trigger anxiety in us, it's best not to do it, and if it makes us drunk it can also make us more sensitive to the surrounding environment, which in my opinion is not a good use if it's done like that.

Now, my question is; do you really think having beer while watching the match could increase your anxiety toward how they may probably play out or result to, could this be true?
Sincerely speaking I don't believe that talk more of thinking such have a way in. Besides there's nothing to debate on this honestly cause whether one takes in beer just to keep up with the moment while gambling doesn't imply that it necessitates or guarantees anything. It's more or less something that keeps one in a comfortable state just as they enjoy the moments. Having a Beer and football watching us a very very popular trend in this part of the world, and for some reason those that normally chill on a bottle of beer while watching football games are known drinker's, that means on days that there is no football matches they still visit the beer parlor to have same drinks, so the beer is football ⚽ s just for entertainment and nothing more than that, but if you get too drunk, that can influence and impire your thinking.

If you don't limit yourself from drinking beer while betting, then rest assured, anxiety attacks.
But for those who remain disciplined drinkers, drinking beer will make you relax instead and somehow will create positive drive that will hep you win from the live matches. Anxiety is far from happening especially if you are focused on your winning goal, not on maximizing drinking beer.
But if you have been feeling stressed and depressed, even if you don't drink beer, anxiety will still be possible if your emotions are left uncontrolled.

Form what I know, taking beer moderately and watching live matches keeps you relaxed even when your favorite team is losing. But in a situation whereby you get overly intoxicated this has a way of interfering with your thought process, in thia case having a panic attack or increase of anxiety might be bound to happen. That's the reason why you must ensure that you stick to a moderate quantity when taking alcohol. Don't get caught up in the moment and start gambling irresponsibly just because you are trying to entertain yourself or have fun.

I do not see any correlation between having some bottles of alcohol while the match is on and anxiety. Have you ever seen an anxious drunkard? That should answer your question. Remember that watching the game is also part of entertainment and social bonding with friends. One can't be anxious in such situation.

Beer is a very interesting drink. Unlike strong alcoholic drinks like whiskey, it can distort your thinking without you even realizing it. But generally, I've rarely heard of beer causing anxiety. I'd say it's quite the opposite: beer relaxes you and allows you to see the world more clearly. But there are many factors to consider: your genetics, your worldview, your sensitivity to alcohol, and your overall mood. In most cases, I think beer doesn't increase anxiety.

Not to the point that you don't know what's happening around you anymore. Because in most cases, drinking beer with your friends is like you are having good conversation with them while watching the game. But you should know your limits so you are still clear headed all throughout the game. In my community and most communities that I know we have event places where there are bars with big screens and people can buy drinks and watch live matches, a lot of sports lovers and bettors frequent these places to drink and watch games. It's perfectly normal to drink beer and watch matches and reviews and in places that I've been to people mostly behave themselves, some can be loud but that is it. If you can drink responsibly you cannot be tipsy to the point of making bad decisions, you will enjoy and behave yourself while watching games, it increases the entertainment.

I believe that the two of you have valid points. Purchasing beer and watching live games is a normal practice and mostly on bars or event venues where people come to watch the game collectively. Moderately, alcohol may be used merely to enhance the leisure and social mood. But alcohol also may reduce the level of self-control and increase emotions and this is particularly true among bettors who are already under the pressure of a match. A near win or losing bet may be more exciting with a couple of drinks, something that may heighten the anxiety. All you need to do is to know your boundaries. When you are responsible and have a clear head then it is fun and not stressful.

Drinking beer does not increase anxiety, but rather decreases anxiety. So, when you are watching football and you are on beer, you feel less anxious and when you eventually drink more than normal, you can even loose full concentration as the beer saturates your body system. This is like taking a drugs, and people who take drugs and alcohol do that for some reasons , while some would take beer and alcohol for relaxation, others would take it to reduce fear and anxiety. At thesame time, taking of beer anytime you want to watch life match could be very dangerous and therefore, it is adviceable to practice staying normal while watch live match instead of drinking beer . Many people does not have control while drinking alcohol or beer and not untill they got drunk, they will not stop. Taking of beer while watching life match could serve it's purpose momentarily, maybe reducing anxiety, but their could be some after effect such as headache, vomiting, trouble making etc; because you are now under the influence of alcohol.

One beer wont change anything. 10 beers will definitely have an effect on the mood. Too much alcohol can be a problem causer. If you are an adult, and weight more than 50kg (random number), one beer is nothing. I dont remember any case when alcohol made me more aggressive. As well as I dont remember turning aggressive when my bet loses or team. We are returning to good old «cant control emotions, dont drink or gamble».

I have never drank beer, I don't have any idea of effect beer have upon brain but I do know that drinking with friends and watching something is a fun activity. Now, why don't you just have beer while watching the game and edit the op and show us how it ends up? ...
I think I can help you out here. I have recently talked to a Bitcointalk member and he told me he went to university again because he wanted to acquire a psychology degree in order to understand the deep minds on this forum better. @stompix, anxiety is a serious problem and I recently heard that a guy bought a rope and jumped off a bridge (forgot to tie the rope though) after his favourite club finished the game with a draw although this particular fan expected a win. They have done thorough investigation and camera pictures have shown it was that one beer he bought in the stadium. Otherwise he was psychologically in great shape, no mental illnesses, physical condition on Olympics level. What do you think can be done here? I really understand this topic had to be addresses OP because this may be about reinforced anxiety feelings, but every time my favourite club loses and I drink beer, I suddenly feel the urge to stab my blue goldfish (Henry) with my plastic Samurai sword. I know it sounds weird, but I feel this is the right place to share my feelings... This is funniest comment I have read in a while.

Everyone has different personalities, and everyone reacts differently to different alcoholic beverages. Personally, beer usually calms me down and puts me in a philosophical mood. 🙋
I even used to drink beer in the evenings (during intense university studies) to help me fall asleep faster. But over time, I completely kicked that habit. Using alcohol to improve sleep, in my opinion, is a very bad idea! 🤷
As for alcoholic drinks that can increase anxiety and stress while watching a football match, it's undoubtedly champagne. It's no coincidence that champagne is always drunk after a football team wins, not while waiting for one. This is because carbonated alcoholic drinks always cause a sudden, rapid, and unpredictable intoxication. If you drink champagne during a football match, you may unexpectedly experience strong emotions. These emotions can be so strong that you might even want to fight other fans (which is completely unacceptable). If you drink beer, nothing like this will happen. 🙋

What about using alcohol to relive stress? Is it a good idea or not? Beer is not a perfect drink for such an occasion. We are all different, but I believe that for many 1 beer is nothing. 2 or more beers, is bad, because bladder will distract from gambling More honorable drink like good whiskey or cognac can help to fight stress. But it is important to control yourself as one glass can lead to another, and gambling will turn into drinking.
