Low rank members are restricted from embedding images here in this forum and that's total discrimination on the low rank members. We are equal here and should be given same right. I can't pass some important information without attaching an image. We all should be given same opportunity.

All restrictions currently in place are created because of spammers in the past. If you don't want to wait and post images, buy a copper membership. that's total discrimination Lol. What do you think this is? A democracy?

The restrictions on Brand new, Newbies and Jr member accounts from embedding images or posting pictures on the forum is mainly a preventive security measure and not discrimination or abuse.
We all must have known that Bitcointalk has been a major target for scams, phishing campaigns, fake ICO promotions and account farming. Now if newly registered accounts like Brand new, Newbies and Jr member accounts are allowed to post pictures or embed images freely, the forum would surely be flooded with, Edited wallet balances, phishing banners and promotional spam graphics, for scam purposes and we all know that image or pictures catches interest more than write up.
So by preventing lower rank members from image embedding in the forum, it helps reduce spam, make scam promotion less effective, and then encourage users to build reputation and work hard.
In Bitcointalk forum privileges are earned through contribution and hard work and not automatically granted, every high rank member you see on this forum worked very hard for it.
As a lower rank member you can still provide image link and when members click on it, they will see the image. And then if a higher rank member quote you together with those image link the images will be visible to everyone so why are you complaining and bothered.

The journey of a thousand mile starts with a step and life is in stages. Every organisation has restrictions for new members and it is not discriminatory, it it aimed at testing our goal for coming into the forum. As a person I can also tell you that we wish we can fly over this early stages and unto even the Legendary rank but it is not so. Some of us don't have full knowledge of how the forum works and giving us free hand may cause an abusive posts. The period before you qualify to post is good to help us decide how serious we are in growing in the forum or give up and go without causing harm as scam to old members. If not allowing new members to upload pictures is discrimination, then not allowing lower ranks to get into campaign will be called discrimination by you. With hardwork, we will get there one day.

My friend, nobody is stripping you off anything, it's just normal as a newbie that you can't be able to upload pictures till you attain a certain level in the forum. moreover it's a normal measures put in place to restrict some certain unusual things that would have been occurring assuming it was allowed. I will advise you forget about that (uploading pictures) for now and concentrate more in developing your account to have the full experience you craved for. However this is a place of learning and nobody is been left behind , just be open to learning and you see your self doing good and even better.

Imagine numerous new accounts massly entering the forum and posting embedded photos all over. It would create chaos and massive spam, even if we're not talking about a "direct" spam attack, and we're discussing on an individual level. There's already enough spam on the forum from new accounts, which is unavoidable but also logical, imagine what would happen if embedding photos was possible as well.
This isn't a major issue, if it's something important you want to show, just simply put the img link, usually, higher ranked members will do it for you. Ranking up isn't hard and we've all been in your position.

No this is not about equal access but about equal responsibility and trust. The forum ranking system is designed to provide gradual access based on time contribution and credibility. In order to reduce spam phishing and fake proof. So it is not about discrimination but rather a structural decision to protect the quality and safety of the community.

Low rank members are restricted from embedding images here in this forum and that's total discrimination on the low rank members. You're free to think otherwise on this, it's normal because we have contrary opinions about things in life, however, be informed that there's no discrimination here, and you have no option than to go by what the rules says, it's a standard here except you purchase a copper rank. We are equal here and should be given same right.
Don't argitate on what is not, tr forum is for everyone and no restriction made.

I can't pass some important information without attaching an image.
You can just put the link of the image on your thread, then maybe ask a forum member to quote it for you for visibility, or you can buy the coppermember ship to bypass the restriction. Other members have explained why there is a restriction for newbies, so you should understand why restrictions have been implemented.

I can't pass some important information without attaching an image.
Bullshit, OP, you can still embed a picture in [img]<url-to-image>[/img] BBcode tags but as long as you're not sufficiently ranked up to at least Jr. Member, your embedded picture will be only seen as a clickable link to your picture. It's simply not true that you can't pass information in pictures. At your current rank other users are just one click away from your picture. I suggest to use https://talkimg.com as image hosting service because it's reliably operated by a reputable member of this community. Once you rank up, it will become a properly visible embedded picture, so don't restrict yourself to use above image embedding BBcode. Also, if a sufficiently ranked user cites your picture, it will be visible for all in that citation. If you can't or don't want to wait, buy a Copper membership as has been already proposed by others earlier. And if none of your posts are merit-worthy so that you won't rank up timely, you probably deserve the limitation that's in place for reasons. Calling it discrimination is nonsense in my opinion. You should rather value that theymos has decided there will be no more other Newbie jail restrictions than the current one.

I can't pass some important information without attaching an image.
Image is not first and not last method to share information. We all should be given same opportunity.
Life is never fair and completely fair for everyone. You must know that the forum gave that rights to all users in all ranks but it was abused and became annoying, so there is a restriction on Newbies. When they either buy Copper membership or rank up to Jr. member (30 activity point and 1 merit point), they will be able to post image. See newbie jails in Bitcointalk's important historic changes. Fortunately, there is alternative way, let me guide you. Use one of these image uploading sites. Image uploading websites/ scripts for Bitcointalk usersPost the link with bbcode here, it won't be shown visually by you. But if I or someone else quote your post that has that attached image, it will be shown.

Low rank members are restricted from embedding images here in this forum and that's total discrimination on the low rank members.
This is not discrimination, it is simply the initial stage for a new member to pass a small step. If this early stage feels annoying to you, there is nothing much to be done and it should be understood that it is not discriminatory because it applies to everyone equally. If you still see this initial stage as discrimination against lower-level members, then you can choose to buy a Copper membership and upload your photo afterward. I can't pass some important information without attaching an image.
Even if lower-level members post the image in BBCode format, it will still be converted into a photo when another person quotes that post. I can see that you created your account on this forum last September and only started posting towards the end of December. From this, it shows that you could have achieved 30 activities and with just one earned merit, you would already have had the opportunity to upload your photo. This forum is not discriminatory to new members because everyone is usually welcomed and guided with helpful advice to move forward. If you give the forum your time and try to make good posts while following the rules and regulations, you too will gradually build a good position in the forum.

Don't feel oppressed, your rank as a newbie not permitted to upload image here is a due process of the forum to limit users spamming over their inexperience within the short term of being here. I believe you can alternatively used the image url if you are using any on the forum host providing services. So you are not entirely restricted to pass your information with the image. If you think this policy is discrimination what would you say about users limited rank in signature campaign? Don't be so sentimental Op.

Low rank members are restricted...
Restricted or just undisplayed? Is the image tag disabled on your end? I don't have a newbie account to check it. We actually have many ways to read newbie images directly if you embed your image according to the tag format. Don't worry about that.

Low rank members are restricted from embedding images here in this forum and that's total discrimination on the low rank members. And its so crucial for you, to start sharing images right off the bat? If yes, buy Copper membership, like many did. We are equal here and should be given same right. This is not some sort of communist utopia. We all should be given same opportunity.
All have the same opportunity to reach Member rank, that will enable you sharing images.

Every single account you see on this forum started as a newbie account, so it cannot be discrimination. You should have asked why it is so, but even though you didn't ask, people have explained it to you. Discrimination would have been if it were only allowed for certain accounts to post pictures while others could not. Since the rule was put into place, every new account created on the forum has not been able to post a picture until they get to member rank. Funny enough, you can still post the link to your picture if you must, and people can click it to view. If it's important information, a user can quote it so people can see. This is not something to complain about.

I wouldn't have a problem discriminating against a total stranger until they prove that they are not harmful to me. The forum is not sure that you are not going to flood the whole forum with spam images if given the ability to post image. As said by others above, become a jr member or if it is important you spend a few sats to acquire the copper membership. We are equal here and should be given same right.
We are not equal here. There are different ranks, with different feedbacks, different experience and reputation. I am sure that Little mouse is not going to scam anyone, but I can't vouch for you. I can't pass some important information without attaching an image. We all should be given same opportunity.
Just post your image link, someone can even make it visible for you.

It's not discrimination. It was disabled many years ago for newbies because people were registering new accounts and abusing the feature to embed gay porn or something like that, which was against the rules, if I understand correctly.
