v11.0 is available:

- Improved speed by about 25-30% for all cards. Up to 12.0 CPD on non-overclocked 290X.

hey claymore, thanks for the update it works great but in one of my rigs 6x280x after 1 minute GPU0 stops mining. -m doesn't show his stats and he doesn't get any shares after 1 minute.
i get 40cpd with 5x280x i guess. the wierd thing is Afterburner shows gpu usage on GPU0 and all other gpus

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Cards overclocked? Catalyst 13.12?

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

i think it was my psus.  the xmr miner needs less power so it worked ok but now i have barerly enough for 6x280x. i took a card out so it works fine now.

I'm getting about 6.5 cpd per 280x on win 8.1 64 bit... using stock drivers.  what are others getting with their 280x?

I'll have to give the 13.12 drivers a whirl.

Oops, I may have looked at the wrong thing.   estimated is about 6.5 cpd but actual is more like 8.5

Now i remember why i stoped mining xpm....my actual cpd was always less than estimated on r9 270...i guess luck is too much of a factor.

you have to be kidding me...
After how many hours?

After 15 hours of mining on V11 with 2x r9 270(estimated 11cpd) i am at Average CPD :3  Roll Eyes

Am I really that unlucky or are 270 just too weak for the job??

closer to 9 cpd per 280x after about 35 hours mining.  But... on that particular rig I get hardly any blocks found so far.  I know there's a luck factor but I'm also wondering if there might be some other technical reason.  Guess I'll scan back over the previous 60 pages unless someone has some current advice.

As far as drivers go... anyone on Win 8.1 64 bit have comments?  What drivers are you using?  Any difference between them?  I've heard it's usually best to let win 8.1 do it's own thing when it comes to drivers and so far that has worked out fine... just not so sure with this xpm.  On monero XMR , i get nominal performance (450 h/s per 280x) just using stock windows 8.1 drivers.

edit: So yeah, I'm trying the solo mining thing.  First time solo on any coin so it's interesting but.... annoying to see the huge variance between two rigs.  Both rigs run win 8.1 64 bit, stock drivers.  One righ is 4x 280x and the other is 4x 7970.  All running stock clocks.  The 7970 rig is finding more blocks so far.

Ah great, I see it's there (it said v10.1 in the OP hence why I asked).

If I want to use the minergate pool, am I able to to so using the pool version (it states only ypool in the readme file)? Or should I pick solo version?

Also I saw you increased donation amount to 10%... Cheeky!  Shocked

1. OP is not updated because I cannot update it, this thread was created before I came here.
2. This thread is for XPM miner, it always had 10% dev fee. To mine on minergate you need XMR miner, it's different thread  Grin

Dev,I am going to mine xpm.But I'd like to shift my rig to newly launch alt for some moments everyday.Does this affect the profit badly on ypool?

You lose profit only when you are not mining.

Claymore
Could you implement such things as automatic miner restart, when
1. some gpu thread hangs
2. couldn't connect to pool

As you done this already in xmr miner?
It would be very helpful: some gpu's didn't make shares after some mining time, other miners loose connection and didn't reconnect automatically -(

Ok, I will implement it in next update, I'm already working on it. But if you have problems with GPUs probably you overclocked them too much.
