readme.txt is very useful:

...
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT MINING XPM ON YPOOL

You cannot estimate your eranings until you run miner for at least 24 hours.
A lot of people start miner for 3-6 hours and then claim that they earn too small amounts.
Ypool calculates earnings based on last 160 blocks that were found by Ypool, so you need to wait
at least 5*160 blocks until you see real earnings, it is about 12 hours.
Another important thing is that Ypool gives you big share values only when you found 9ch or 10ch shares,
it takes several hours to find such shares, so to estimate your profit you need at least 24 hours of mining.

So the correct way to calculate earnings is: mine for 24 hours and then check your earning per block in pool statistics,
and multiplicate it by blocks that ypool finds per 24 hours. Or mine for 48 hours and then take earnings for last 24 hours.
...

I updated with a copy of the read me.

v1.4 can't be download.

v1.4 released, mining speed is faster by 10% now.

This information is not correct. I am seeing an increase of 16% in mining speed. My 290s now mine at 80k each.

Edit: Getting total round time of 570-580, varies a little card by card, cards running stock clocks. Using I7 4770k.

Yes, it is possible. For example, I get about 12-13% speedup on 290X. But it depends on hardware so I stated non-optimistic value Smiley

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Tried 5 different bat files for a 5 card 280x rig and once I started the 3rd bat file the system became unresponsive and eventually locked up.  Showes as mined .000086 XPM after about 1 hour.

Anyone get a 5 card 280x rig stable with the Claymore GPU miner?  Just wondering what I need to change.  Running stock with no overclocks.

Tried this, but I gotta say that the CPU is a huge limiting factor here. My R9 290 are getting 57k each probably because I got a Pentium G2030 powering my rig (had to use -ss 2).

I am running v1.4 and I saw an exact 10% increase from v1.3 (52k before).

I still don't know if it's profitable, haven't mined for 24h yet.

my 2x 280x -
 ch/h: [  44677]
 ch/h: [  41863]

and make that all cards were started from 1 bat file

Hey, does overclocking the cpu give better results, currently running 4x290x with i7 4770k with 75-85% cpu utilization, and lastly would running the system ram at faster speed give any improvements? Thanks

This no work with 7xxx series?

It works for the HD7xxx series, but ideally for 290/290x. Worked for my HD7970.

CPU load must be <=80% for best performance, so you can try to overclock CPU and see if it helps. Overclocking RAM is almost useless.

Ok I just increased the core clock to 1200 mhz, im getting 95k ch/h (4ch) and round times of around 490. The nice thing is im still using less electricity than mining scrypt on stock clocks.
