its seem like minimum share in scrypt vardiff, if i found share @ diff above 8.~ that show 1.~ or more share value on ypool dashboard. and if it only found @ DIFF 7.~ ist only show 0.004~ share value.
What's that mean?
I'm still confuse, because my share value per block is very fluctuative.

Share values are described here:   http://ypool.net/faq?ct=2

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

So, the 4ch is just used for sampling?

Yes, just to get some stats quickly. It is more objective than "m" numbers.

Understood, I figured it was.

Good news, I got my 7970 running around 660 avg for the total round time at 1200mhz core overclock. That's about 17.5% improvement from stock speeds and running stable. The 280x should do about the same or slightly better.

Tried this, but I gotta say that the CPU is a huge limiting factor here. My R9 290 are getting 57k each probably because I got a Pentium G2030 powering my rig (had to use -ss 2).

I am running v1.4 and I saw an exact 10% increase from v1.3 (52k before).

I still don't know if it's profitable, haven't mined for 24h yet.

So after 24hours of mining I stopped and waited another 24h to see the total XPM I got and my total earning is 7.11 XPM, which at the current rate of 1 XPM = 0.00177004 BTC (to make it easier for other readers who wish to convert to bTC) equates to 0.0048 BTC / MH (Scrypt) / day, or 0.0048 at 57k CH/h /day.
Was using v1.3 for about half of that time (1.4 wasn't out yet) than swapped to v1.4 so earnings may vary by around 5%~.

Ideas how to improve it other than buying a new CPU? Currently I am using -ss 2 otherwise the CPU is at 100% load and am with 1015/1250 clock speeds (core/mem respectively), using R9 290.

Ask a question:
1, if I close the program, re run, will lose my share?
2, 4CH 7ch 8ch..12ch is what mean? The 47812 round?
3, according to the parameters can be seen in their speed, ch/h?
Thank you.

Will there be some attention for r9 270?
Getting some leftovers after aprox 18hours. half that time on 1.4 with 1gpu and other half with 2gpus. Also getting some weird fluctuations on 2gpu usage and driver crashing from time to time.

Any advice?

Wait for new version, it will load CPU less and it will be faster. Right now -ss2 kills about 25% of mining speed, I made this option as temporary solution until new version is released.

Any advice?

Assume you use catalyst 13.12. If driver crashes - don't overclock card. It may work for other coins but XPM mining involves a lot of complex algorithms and card may fail at same clocks.

yes using 13.12 drivers
only overclocked few hours ago...even more stable than before oc.  Undecided I assume that mixing cards is may main problem for driver crashing. Using gtx770 as primary card. The 270s are on risers(1on 16x>16 and the other on usb 1x>16x)

Best to stay with one model type. Mixing can complicate with driver issues.

Only overclock if you system is tested stable enough to do it. I have Arctic Cooling Accelero Extreme 7970 that keep my gpu core way cooler than the stock MSI Frozr III cooler.

Overclocked my i7 4770k to 4.4ghz to get 80% cpu utilization, just one more question will lower cpu utilization yield me better results? I am running 4x290x underwater at 1200/1275mhz and my performance counter is 392 for each gpu, will post pool side results in 24 hours.

im unsure if only claymore knows the answers of if you do too speed. but running the program. i am on 1.4 right now. i will wait for 1.6 to restart and update. i have 3 cards on each of my 4 computers and everything is working beautifully. my only questions are:

04/07/14-14:32:18 - SHARE FOUND! - <TH#: 0> - DIFF 8.632572 - TYPE:1  HASHMULTIPLIER 1718454

^ what does this TH mean?  ^ and what does the type mean?

im assuming hashmultiplier is just related to the algorithm used for solving the shares. so not many questions on that one. the other two seem to be stumping me though. i have noticed the TH numbers range from 0 to 3 and the type is either a 1 2 or 3 (if there is a type 0 i havent seen it recently). so if i could get some clarification on what those are that would be awesome.

TL;DR. what does TH# mean and what does the type mean?

TH is a thread number. by default 4 CPU threads are used to load GPU completely, so you can see TH 0..3, for example, you can use "-t 8" to use 8 threads, it won't change mining speed in most cases. But if you specify "-t 1" it will cause slow mining speed since GPU won't be loaded completely.
Type is one of three chain types that are valid for XPM PoW.
It seems it's a good idea to hide some unnecessary stats about shares in next version Smiley

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

since this is a modified jhprimeminer im sure the same commands can be used

i wouldnt hide any information. or at least make it available to those who want it with another parameter added into the bat files. people who are curious in those stats should still be able to access them. i was purely asking out of curiosity and hey look. i learned something new about how the cpu starts the gpu.

Just tried running 5 instaces on one of my rigs

H81 PRO BTC
Pentium Haswell
5x280x

CPU USAGE 100% no shares accepted, maybe 4 cards is the max. ETA for fix?

You need at least a quad core Intel Core I5 or AMD Phenom/Phenom II x4 or Intel Core 2 Quad cpu. Otherwise, you'll need to run "-ss 2" to lower the usage but lose some performance also.
