If you don't want to be addicted in gambling, just don't start, even if it's for only short period of time with a certain amount as well. You have to avoid it, because if you don't, you will always have the urge to gamble, until it became a habit, and then addiction comes in.

It's okay to enjoy gambling as long as you set limits in terms of budget and time. I'm sure there are people who gamble within set limits and their gambling habits don't cause them any difficulties or problems. The thing is, I wasn't really aware of the time or money I was wasting. Back then, I thought it was the norm. If other people were spending their free time the same way, then that was some kind of norm that players adhere to. You are right Guy. When you're gambling you shouldn't set yourself a time limit but rather a spending limit because you could spend a certain amount of money in 5 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the size of the bet or the leverage you use.
The key thing is respect what you have set for yourself to avoid spending too much money or more than you can afford to spend.
