How about you, are you using the prediction market for money making or just for fun or both? I still make sure that I risk wisely and I am not using more than $50 for each bet.

Neither. I’m well aware it’s almost a sure-fire way to lose money, just like day trading, and given how much you enjoy trading, I’m not surprised you found it appealing. There are so many options to choose from, so many different types of bets, that I wouldn’t even know where to start. I prefer to stick to what I’m used to – casino games – and the occasional sports bet.

Indeed bud, always best for one to stick to that which they are very familiar with and already their know their left from right on, like it's commonly said that gambling is not for everyone, I also believe that the prediction market is not for everyone to participate in, we must not try to get involved in every thing we come across in the Internet because even though others may be getting involved in such and winning, we never can tell if same will turn out to be a trap for us where instead of making money, we end up losing money instead.

And all I am saying is that we learn to be contended, if I am already doing well in sports betting or casino games or both, why venture into prediction market? Now I understand the benefit of new experiences is there but we much avoid especially when our instinct say we should.

The site is quite impressive and idea behind prediction market on polymarket is fascinating for me.
I'll be betting on the site soon and the first thing I'll try is betting on BTC price prediction as it amuses me a lot.
Profit or loss, only time will that but as long as the losses are in control, it's gonna be fun.

Its more better for one to engage or bet the option they know and are confident to win from it without actually stressing their brain because there are some gamblers that do bet in an option they are not really familiar with just because their friends are benefiting from it, and wants to try their own luck, which they might even be losing more. Gambling is only good for entertainment, gambling with more money in the hope of big profit is not right, it does not increase the chances of winning because gambling is a game of luck, if you have good luck then you can win and if your luck is not good then you will never win, no matter how much you bet, the chances of losing money will increase manifold. I think it is good to gamble only for entertainment purposes because you can enjoy the pleasure of gambling, maintain self-control over yourself, if you have good luck then you can win money and protect yourself from facing additional financial losses.

Indeed prediction market might look confusing if you do not have a particular activity through which you want to place a bet on, because its actually a betting market that gives you the ability to bet on numerous activities, ranging from Sports, politics, movie, weather and lots more things you can ever think of. Which is why if you are just a gambler and only watches and enjoy football or other types of Sports games, you will be very comfortable with using the casino, since it offers such services very well. Unlike a weather forecaster or a politicians who wants to place a bet about future activity, prediction market will definitely be their best alternative to making such bet. However, i have used the prediction market once, and it was still on Bitcoin's price prediction.

Some of us prefer to bet on traditional betting platforms, which we consider casinos, rather than on Polymarket, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of continuing to visit this platform.

Does betting on Polymarket not encounter the problems we commonly see? Cases of bets being canceled, betting fraud that ultimately results in the bookmaker withholding our winnings.

We haven't seen such cases at Polymarket, though. Is this why so many people choose it?

The reason should just be that most gamblers doesn't know much about predictions Market because if they really do know about it so many gambler's would have been drawn to prediction market. So talking about how there users are making losses rather than profit, this can't be the reason while most gamblers aren't in prediction market because there most gambling platforms or casino in which gambler are losing money on daily basis yet there are still gambler's that are still gambling there.

You hardly make reasonable amount of money from prediction, it is better for fun, I predict mainly for fun to see if i am improving in my prediction skill to know how well my sense of  prediction is growing although not always.
I predict mainly on market predictions which we all know that the market cannot be predicted.

I prefer spot betting more since it makes me enjoy gambling.

Exactly the point,a lot of individuals would prefer the gambling market over the prediction market reason is because they’re more exposed to the gambling setting and they lack good prediction ability.Just as you’ve said that you’re improving your prediction skill so are other people who are interested in improving their prediction skills are into the prediction market.Then again,an individual’s mindset shouldn’t be built for making profit either prediction market or gambling market,it’s either you’re doing it for fun or nothing but if you’re doing it for profit purpose then your expectations may not align all the times.

I'm i the only one that's yet to try out the prediction market? the thing is that I don't find it interesting even if they have a lot of options you can can bet on. I'm not interested in betting on politics or the weather, I just prefer to bet on sports games only and this is the reason why I prefer to make use of bookmakers and Casinos only. I prefer the gambling market over the prediction market not because one is more profitable than the other it's just simply about preference.

You need to study prediction markets better 
For example, before the Argentina-Cape Verde game, the odds on Cabo Verde going on to qualify for the next stage were no higher than 10 at bookmakers, while at Polymarket they were around 14. You understand how huge the difference is, right? The last time I said something about Polymarket being a place where those who have direct access to change the outcome can benefit the most from the platform. I got attacked by a forum member who claimed that it is not true; meanwhile, the majority of those who gamble or make predictions there are constantly on the losing end.

Prediction looks very interesting when your numbers are also winning and becomes borring when your predictions are not winning, since prediction is not a true assurance that you must win because if the money is not coming as expected through your win, then you will be forced to stop.

Appreciating the fact that victory is not always assured, will aid in preserving mental stability of players. It is highly self reinforcing to quit when the situation was not in favor, hence preventing possible problems even more financially in the future.

There is nothing guaranteed in gambling like what I have been saying, because its not designed for gambling to be predicted by anyone rather for one to play the game and leave the rest for luck, because having the knowledge that luck has a part to play in gambling will make them not to exceed their limits but stay grounded as they keep it at a fun level, that one its more way better and safer in thinking that there is something like perfect predictions.

If the decision to gamble on prediction markets is made based on profit, then most of us should all be there trying out our luck, as I have read and seen a lot of those success stories of people making millions from the market by just successfully predicting the outcome of an event, but everyone has preferences and should make their choice based on that.
