WARNING: Scammed by Bets.io out of $14,000

What happened:
I deposited approximately $20,000 USDC and won approximately $1,148 while playing blackjack on Bets.io. When I requested a withdrawal, Bets.io processed only $6,000 and confiscated the remaining $15,148 without providing any evidence or legitimate justification.
The casino initially claimed I had violated their Terms & Conditions by using prohibited betting methods and later falsely asserted that I was playing from a restricted jurisdiction. That allegation is untrue. I was playing from the Czech Republic, which was an accepted jurisdiction under their own policies.
Despite repeated requests, Bets.io has refused to identify what specific rule I allegedly violated or provide any supporting evidence, such as betting logs or proof of misconduct. They simply stated that their internal decision was final and refused to engage further.
I also sought assistance through Casino Guru, but Bets.io refused to participate in resolving the dispute there. The casino has similarly ignored or declined to meaningfully address complaints on other independent mediation platforms. Multiple players have reported experiencing similar confiscations after attempting to withdraw significant winnings, raising serious concerns about the casino’s practices. (Bitcoin Forum)

Bets.io repeatedly changed or expanded its justification for confiscating my winnings while never providing any evidence. Their allegation that I was located in a prohibited jurisdiction was false, as I was playing from the Czech Republic. The casino refused to engage with Casino Guru’s mediation process and instead relied on vague references to undisclosed internal investigations and Terms & Conditions without substantiating any claim against my account.
The platform used to be publicly associated with TESSERA LIMITED S.R.L., but now their Terms list Techno Wave Systems S.R.L. (Costa Rica). There’s no clear explanation of this change, which raises serious questions.
According to trustpilot they had their reviews disabled due to their fraudulent behavior. A lot of the same behavior I complained about other people complained about. But in my case it’s worse because it’s my deposit they have stolen. They’ve ignored casinoguru and Casinomeister. This is a rogue website I am not alone in being stolen from. OP did not have to offer half the money; all he had to do was create a thread on the scam accusation board, post all his evidence, such as chat screenshots and transactions that he really played on Bets.io, and challenge Bets.io over their decision to withhold his earnings.

I couldn't find this casino when doing a search using the forums search function but glad someone put a link to their thread. This user contacted me on telegram a week ago regarding this case. Looks like their rep is active and I am waiting for a reply from them regarding this case.

Hate when sites scam users but curious as to what they'll say their reason is for confiscating the money.

That ANN thread has not had any activity since last year. The op of the thread is not active there even on their first ANN  on the forum, but the rep has always come online and left without posting anything; we just hope there is a reply from them after Yahoo has sent them a DM.

Unfortunately, most people tend to ignore and disregard the accusations that others make on Trustpilot, always thinking they are false accusations, accounts created by people to tarnish the casino's image. You wouldn't have lost money at that scam casino, which has been scamming people since 2024. They are scam specialists, they've been robbing people for years, and obviously no one will be able to help you recover your money. I wonder why use these new casinos when there are serious and honest older casinos? In any case, you'd better prepare yourself psychologically to accept that you'll never get your money back.

Bets.io is a scam black hole crypto website. They claim to be a crypto casino with no KYC and have good ratings from askgamblers but they make it impossible to cash out. When you follow their “steps” they close your account and seize your money. This is a warning to all people to avoid this website and that it is a scam. They stole $14,000 from me without cause or any justification. They won’t even tell me what I did.

You’ve been warned. If anyone can maybe help me recover some of the money there is a reward of $7,000 for you.

It's actually sad when I hear people losing money to crypto casinos for a simple mistake they ought to have avoided if only they had done proper research when they ought to. And for the fact that this has already happened, I don't think it is still too late for the casino representative of Bets.io to come explain to the house why they have decided to confiscate O.Ps $14,000. Because I literally just checked the casino representative of Bets.io account and saw that the account was last active just yesterday. Which means the account is still active on this forum. Sorry about your situation OP, but wait a second Bets.io is not a casino affiliated with the forum in terms of no announcement thread on the forum or anything in those lines and makes pressurizing them difficult..

Best options you left with is other third party mediators like casinoguru or askgamblers.. but thanks for alerting the Bitcointalk community.

Consider leaving them something on their Trust pilot too, whatever works..

Many people already accused them of scamming on their trustpilot on the comments section.

They are also spamming everyone with promo deals every 3 days which confirms that they are desperate for some deposits to confiscate the money.

I am sorry for your loss and thank you for providing solid proofs of their scammy ways.

I thought twice about depositing there and now there is no way I am doing that.

You should also comment and review them negatively on trust pilot.

They refuse to even talk to any arbitration board. Warnings need to be put out about them. What’s important now is making sure nobody else falls victim to them. They also are posting fake reviews everywhere as all the 10/10 reviews are the same and obviously the same script. Especially after a negative review on askgamblers and askgamblers lets them get away with it

The license stated in ANY review is also invalid. This site doesn’t even have a real license. Looks like I got scammed and I would avoid others from falling for the same trap and askgamblers lies.
