The first win is a blessing but in this case the next action is what can be disastrous and it will be different for every gambler who feels it.

When the first win is always turned into greed then they will definitely keep chasing for another win because the expectation is getting high with gambling and this is the basic mistake of some of the gambling addicts now. Not only we want to play more but we also tend to increase the amount we bet. If getting a big win once and thinking we could easily get another, then many gamblers would become rich but that’s a naive way of thinking. Both winning and losing can become traps, as they trigger different emotions and affect our decision on gambling.

I want to share something in my mind and i think many people will relate to it. So many peoples think losing is what traps gamblers. But i think sometimes it is the opposite.

It is the first big win.

Let me Explain . When someone wins big early it creates a strong belief in their mind. They start thinking i can do this again because it feels easy and  real. That moment stays with them. And after that every time they play they are not just playing the game  they are chasing that first feeling again and again . Even when they lose they does not see it as a warning. They see it as I just need one more good run.

This reminds me of something similar.

When someone tries Weed for the first time the experience can go both ways i mean 50 50 chances of smoking again . Because some peoples feel relaxed and happy and they keep going back to it. While others feel fear or discomfort sometimes increased blood pressure and heart rate maybe even anxiety and they never touch it again.

That first experience shapes everything.

Some folks are to lucky that they hit the big win as a newbie due to beginners luck . Not knowing is all a trap because you can’t actually expect such person to stop gambling after experiencing such win as a beginner , like you said he or she will have the mindset that winning such amount again won’t be challenging at all , and that’s when the real danger begins.
