I actually disagree, as far as sports gambling is concerned someone with a good analytical skills using stats will be ina better position to win than someone who is relying completely on luck, we gamble for the fun of it but denying that we don't want to win is wrong, if we simply wanted fun then there are alot of other things to do for fun, I want to win and I want to have a bit of fun in the process, if I don't win then I get my satisfaction from the fun of it but that doesn't mean I would prefer just that to also winning.

I agree with what you said, if you really rely on luck then it's better to just play slots than sports betting and this is just a suggestion so if you still want to do it, go ahead because it is the right of each. And I can be said to bet by relying on luck because my habit is to bet on my favorite team only so there is no analysis that I do but with more likes or interests of course I am more often doing slot gambling.

It's good that you understand that analysis plays a role in sports gambling, even though you don't do it because you prefer to bet on your favourite teams to win and that's fine as long as you understand that a better team could beat them, you are not betting on them because you are certain that they will win, you are betting on them because you are hoping for them to win and that's the difference that matters, plus you also prefer slot games because you don't have to analyse anything with it.

With how things are going recently, I’m starting to believe that some games are really rigged. I won’t mention the specific league here, since I don’t want to offend the die hard fans.

But if my assessment is right, then sports betting may not be something we can beat through analysis alone. You can spend hours checking stats, injuries, and matchups, but if the result is already controlled, then all that analysis becomes useless.

Maybe the better thing to study is how the line moves, where most bettors are placing their money, and whether there is a trap. If most people are on one side, maybe the value is on the other side.

I will say here that if sports are not happening at the local level, then there is no possibility of rigging, especially top-level sports like football, cricket, etc. We have seen match fixing in these sports in the past, but it has become very rare these days. We don't see match stories at all, especially in international and prestigious tournaments.

So, from a perspective, I would never say that doing analysis is useless in sports betting.

That could be another sign if the team could be the right choose for us to bet but if we don't get more signs from the analysis, we will not take it but leaves it and search for others. We will not forcing ourselves to keep placing bet on that as we don't know much about the game. We better to analyze other games that will have more potential to gives us the wins although that still not be easy to choose.
