Honestly, I'm having a hard time deciding who I'd back. Canelo is experienced and skilled in boxing, but as far as I know, he had an elbow injury and is also recovering mentally from his last defeat. I can't say much about MBilli; he's considered an underdog, but MBilli became a full-fledged WBC champion in early 2026, and that's worth remembering. M'Billi has good motivation and psychological confidence.
Alvarez has his signature counter-attacking style, but it's hard to say whether that will help against MBilli.

Don’t be delusional my bro, I love Canelo like crazy but this fight is not gonna be an easy one for him at all.

Mbilli is fucking tank, the guy has got power, aggression and doesn’t mind dogging it out because he can take shots so i wouldn’t be surprised if he beats Canelo.

I'm not delusional; I based it on a factual analysis of past performance and overall skill. For the record, the three fighters that beat Canelo are technical fighters and future Hall of Famers; the biggest question is who Mbili has fought. I can't recall any tough dogs Mbili has fought and beaten.

Mbili is the kind of fighter that Canelo can easily beat because he is flat-footed; the punches are telepathic; there's nothing new Mbili can bring that Canelo hasn't seen.

In as much as I agree with most of what you have said, I wouldn’t agree with your claims that Mbili hasn’t tussled with any tough dogs yet in his career and that Canelo will beat him so easily.

First of all, you’re talking as if Mbili is some kind of padded journeyman that was being given bums to fight since the beginning of his career, which is not the case here.
He may not have been fighting top tier names like GGG, Bivol and Co, but he has definitely dogged it out with very tough and legitimate contenders in his division; I’d start to mention names but i don’t think that would be necessary cos you can always look it up in your own free time.

Secondly, for you to say that it’s gonna be an easy fight for Canelo indicates to me that you’re probably ignoring the residual dangers that Canelo faces from Mbili being a volume puncher and also the questions about where Canelo’s form currently sits at especially after his recent loss to Crawford, which IMO is not really an ideal thing to do when you have a classic veteran technician VS an aggressive power pressure challenger matchup like this.

Don’t get me wrong, i’m not definitively saying that Mbili will beat Canelo, infact i think Canelo has a slight edge over him. But it would be a big mistake for Canelo to underestimate him and think that oh!, it’s gonna be easy for me, it sure is not gonna be.

I see this as an open fight that can be won by any of them because nothing is impossible, and as you have already said, if canelo is still nursing his elbow injury and is short of confidence due to his last defeat, their are chances that he might lose to M'Billi on 31 October unless things drastically improved from his own end.

Games like this are not won or lost by mere speculation as we are doing now, so until they enters the ring and show what they are made of, we can't be too certain of which of them might carries the day.

Canelo may look relaxed coming to many of his fights, but that doesn't mean that he was underestimating any of his opponents. He takes his training seriously; he always takes care of his business. For him, there is no easy fight. Of course, Mbili has a chance because there are upsets, but he never overlooks or underestimates his opponents, and he will not blow up his legacy.
So expect the same Canelo who fought great fighters like Bivol, Golovkin, and others.

I've been following Canelo's career for quite some time now and i do agree that whenever he trains, he trains hard and doesn't underestimate an opponent which is for me a great trait for a boxer. Canelo is the favorite on this matchup and the ML odds doesn't look good if you only bet small so you might look for other option/market to increase the odds like Canelo by decision @1.83, this is a bit enticing.

But for me, i would go for Mbilli as the odds for him to win via decision is quite high @5.30 as of now. Canelo is fading, no longer in his prime so imo Mbilli has a great chance of pulling an upset on him though this is hard but doable.

I have read an article that the venue for this fight will be Las Vegas as it is chaotic now in Saudi Arabia, not safe for the fighters going there now.

From the little time that I have been following cane Alvarez fights,it doesn't seem like mbilli will survive this fight. Alvarez is more experienced which is an advantage he can use to subdued mbilli in the ring. Mbilli is younger and more agile looking but fights aren't won by strengths but by experience. Alvarez canelo knows exactly where to land his punches to collapse Mbilli in an Instant using his experience. Frankly speaking, I'm expecting Alvarez to beat the daylight out of him unless old age has taken a toil on him.

Risking 100% of your money just to get 82% return doesn't sounds good consider this fight is still remain 60/40. I understand it, however, i won't bet on Mbilli because despite his agression, he seems has no power to hurt washed Canelo.
I think to risky small amt of money on Canelo, hope he tells Mbilli a lesson soon.

Caneloa may not as good as he used to be a few years ago, but he still strong enough to hang with Mbilli, and he's also having a better perparation and i think he will put upset to Mbilli.

This is going to be a tough one . Both fighters are pretty much interesting too, I can’t really tell who have an edge over the other . Both have been in layoff for a while now ,  Canelo is a great fighter with a lot  experience. That doesn’t change the fact that mbilli is still an excellent fighter. I wouldn’t judge either fighter based on the training footage we have seen,  there’s always stuff happening behind the scenes  . I’m pretty sure both fighters are given this their all , one as a defending Champion , while the other is coming in as the challenger looking to reclaim the WBC title. This is definitely going to be an interesting fight and I’m not gonna miss it .
