As I said previously... This is bad, very bad. Is there another way than the one suggested to prevent this one from dying?
I don't know who's sockpuppet you are, but GTFO! someone who didn't get his second round yet but still hope... since he doesn't have the gut to use is real nickname

Regarding the broken wallet, the same exact thing happened with FAC. Now look at it. Don't listen to the 'experts' proclaiming it is dead just yet.

People who missed out on FAC distribution also cried "dead coin" multiple times... and "scam" and now look... it's climbed a LOT! It's currently lower than its all time high... but people are just manipulating the market to get cheap coins to sell again for profit... it will climb again... COMM will maybe even surpass FAC in amazing growth! The community behind COMM is a bit more active... Thread is growing FAST!

That was just first dark spot of FAC, the second was it's hard fork hack. And it recovered to the almost 7k peak.

Got my second stake! Whoop once the lost coins issue is sorted out we'll see this puppy fly!!! I was there from the beginning with FAC and trusted and waited through their lost coin also. Perhaps contact their dev and offer them some coin to help fix the problem? Congratulations. I still waiting for my second stake. Not sure if I have the chance or not. I will wait and vote.+1 Congratulations. Although I have no qualifications in second stake

Well, someone evidently didn't deserve second stake. Small dump happened at Bittrex. At this situation there is no point to try support rise price with high buy orders. They could be eaten up very fast.
I never even got my first stack. And anyway, I do not even know iaccepted or not. If I did not go into COMMunity, I'll be sad, because so many opportunities pass by. As time goes by, but I'm still not adopted and do not know whether I passed at all. Besides, I am very surprised that people get 2M COMM, when others get nothing. I would, for example, didn't sell my 1M (if I had one). At the same time the one who got 2M, can unsparingly sell all their COMM. Where is the justice? Acturally, the initial plan is to distribute 1bil COMM to 1000 BTT members. However, not too much members paid their attention on COMM. The distribution process was slow: about 230 within near 2 weeks. So the community decided to reduce the 1000 stakes into 500 in order to shorten the distribution phase. That's the story. I propose that, after the initial phase is done, we change the faucet's rules a little and start a new distribution using it... Not anything like the 1000000 coins at the initial phase but something that allows a second chance for the "snails" while making COMM less concentrated. But that's only an idea for the near future. Adriano Edit: typo

I don't know, people tend to not like a coin when they miss out on it early People don't like to feel left out, COMM is a good idea because it includes most of bitcointalk members who are interested in alt coins

Even with those coins dumped, strong community can get the coin up from ashes.
And regarding mentioned things, I admit, that here is lack of transparency. But I hope everything's turn to good.
Let's wait Adriano from his rest, maybe he can help with implementation of hard code. I don't know if he is familiar not only with web development coding.
No disrespect to Adriano, but his suggestion is already tried and failed. Read more about, how/why this fix was failed for another coin here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436750.0The dev can take a backup and later import it into another brand new wallet which would allow you to transfer these coins again bypassing the lock restrictions.. or according to the eTok devs, there is a way to get rid of the lock. The dev is actually taking the community for a ride here and you guys are just following it. The dev wanted someone from the community to fix this so that he thinks everyone will fall for it. Prepare for the big dump guys. I am sorry to see this coin die this way, because of a greedy dev, after offering so much potential. I somehow think there will be enough collective intelligence and motivation in the stakeholders of this coin to overcome whatever technical issues eTok had. I haven't read all 45 pages, but is there someone here who already has proper insight into the eTok case, and knows: why their fix didn't work (still allowed transfers that should have been blocked); whether that problem would also apply to this coin's case; and what are the other options for preventing those coins being spent?
